Wednesday, September 17

It had been approximately 2 weeks since the students of William Mckinley High School had returned from Summer Break. The end to their social pause, and the beginning to thriving hallways. With the new year, there had been new additions to the staff, some retired, some quit, some just dissapeared. Everything was normal, except for the hiring of a new Jazz Band teacher. His name? Daniel Schuester. That name might've sounded familiar some 20 something years ago, but now it was just a hazy memory. A memory of the time in which the High School had been home to the best Glee Club in America. Now, Glee Club was just something the Jocks thought was some sort of old celibacy club, or something. It had been a time in which Sue Sylvester thought she ruled the school and a time in which Will Schuester fought back with his talented New Directions group.

But like all things, the exhilarating feeling of being a part of something like the Glee Club faded and it was shut down. The only thing that was true proof that it had once brought joy to the students was the Finn Hudson Auditorium, dedicated to Mr. Leader of the Group himself. Now things seemed to have reverted back to their old ways. A time in which the Cheerios and a new reigning tyrant Coach Parker. One of the meanest most bitter women to ever inhabit the earth. Principal Pollack had called it the
Sue Sylvester Takeover. Because of the way they had both treated everyone, and abused power so easily. No one messed with that woman, she was pure hate and hormones.

Mr. Schuester had already earned the woman's pure hate after only 3 weeks. It was irritatingly impossible for them to agree and after a request to once again open up the Glee Club, the woman exploded. Holland Parker argued that her Cheerios needed all the funding which was extremely overboard, to train and equip her team. Because according to her, that was the only team that mattered and the only reason people knew that School even existed. Of course, the new teacher couldn't go down without a fight and offered to pay for all funding other than the 100 dollars that Principal Pollack had allowed. This made the cheap man happy and he agreed with Coach Parker's ramblings in the background. Mr. Schue had printed several flyers and hung them around the school, but much to his dismay the Cheerios had been ordered to tear them down whenever they were in sight.

The only thing left now was the sign-up sheet on the school bulletin, printed on a lime colored paper. It was hidden behind clubs that people actually knew about and wanted to join. No student cared to be a part of something that Coach Parker so stubbornly opposed. However, it had taken the attention of one particular girl with blonde hair and freckled complexion. Her distant relative's mom had a cousin who'd been a part of some type of club similar to the one being advertised. Although it drew her attention, for even the slightest moment, the girl continued to walk. Only to be met with one of the most well-known bullying methods of Mckinley Hight.
The Slushie. Charlotte wasn't sure what really made the iced drink worse, the sting of the corn syrup in the eyes, or the cold tiny pieces of ice that seemed to cause pricks all over a person's face, or maybe it was the feeling of terrible humiliation one felt afterwards.

Slushied.gif

All in all, a shocked and cold Charlotte Evans wiped the slushie from her eyes, and tried to avoid the gazes and giggles that surrounded her. This was her life, a slushie every week and if the Glee Club would bring even more, well she already knew how to get the stains out of her clothes. The blonde girl dug into her bag for a pen and signed her name down. Walking away, the short girl glared at the two Jocks who'd slushied her. Lucas Howell and Christopher Jackson, only the hottest yet most out of her league guys in existence. All they did was high five each other and keep on walking, like she didn't exist.
Typical. The girl did the same, trying to make her way into the girl's bathroom where she could get some of the sticky syrup off of her clothing. Signing up for the Club might've been one of the worst or best decisions. But, as she saw it, if they even came close to succeeding, it was her ticket to Stardom. Something she'd always wanted. "Jesus, I just got this shirt." Irritation was clear in her voice as she wet some napkins.

Meanwhile, Lucas was walking with Christopher. The two had been friends for as long as they could remember, brothers from another mother as they had each put it. He was the left tackle of the Football team, and was currently dating a very smoking hot group of cheerleaders. Yes, yes you heard right.
A group. Well, I guess it's not really called dating, more of like hooking-up. As close as the two males were, Lucas couldn't come to understand how his buddy Chris had managed to pretty much be dating one of the only girls who didn't put out in the entire school. I mean, Erin Coleman was super hot, but no way in hell would he date her. Lucas liked girls, more that just to kiss them. His side business really got him attention from the Cougars in town which seemed to satisfy him more than the teenagers in the school who only wanted romance. Now, Luke could do romance only if the girl was hot enough to beat J.Lo in sexy contest.

However, there was one girl that he wasn't quite sure how he felt about, and that was Katherine Parker. She was a delinquent, like him but a little more off the grid. Now, he had nothing against her and her most definitely awesome body but it just wouldn't do him well. He slushied people like her, not dated them. Now, the girl they'd slushied before was probably one of the most annoying people in the school. She was just too much, school, and too little fun. Something about being famous, pssh like that was gonna happen. He smirked at some girls as they walked and looked at Christopher. "
Doesn't it make you annoyed? You know the fact that Erin won't even let you touch her boobs? I mean you guys have been dating for like 6 months, my probation's over and you still haven't gotten in her pants." Another girl that was extremely difficult and according to Aaron, was Beatrice Malone. Of course, she was hot but not his type. Speaking of Aaron, where the hell was he?

Aaron was outside with the rest of their crew, the football players that is. They'd found the Versace king himself,
sarcasm intended. That kid was probably the gayest person he'd ever encountered, and trust me when I say he was gay for real. Like, he was seriously into guys and not like Aaron was throwing him into the trash for that, but they just loved to see the expression on Kyle Corbett's face when his clothes got dirty in the trash block. His eyes were caught in the gaze of one Miss Beatrice Malone as she walked by in her aweing beauty. Of course, no one could no that he had the hots for that chick. He'd get the living crap kicked out of him for a mistake like that. Sometimes, when he did make comments he would joke them off. However, this did not stop him from being friendly. He was friendly to most people after all, why not make it an excuse to talk to her. "Hey, Beatrice. What's up?" Came from his mouth as she passed by.

Not only had Beatrice woken up with a massive migraine but she had also endured almost an hour long sermon from her friend on the perfect eyeliner application technique. Wings or no wings. Black or silver. Quite frankly it was just too early to have to think about that. Maybe after lunch she would have been up to that but now? Ugh. It wasn't something she was opposed to. In fact she could spend that long talking about hangnails. Perhaps that said something about her but she didn't mind very much as long as nobody pointed it out. She never responded well to verbal accusations. It felt as if her tongue swelled and it was hard to come up with a response for their cruelty. Maybe that was why she had made such an awful cheerio in sophomore year. That certain distaste for the sharp tongued words that they so often fought with.

So as she walked past the dumpsters, she heard someone call out to her. From the corner of her perfectly lined eye, she saw Aaron Phillips. And what was he doing? Chucking kids in the dumpster. But it wasn't just him. From what the brunette could tell it was the majority of the football team. What was with them and picking on people? I mean, the food chain of McKinley High was very defined but it couldn't possibly make it right to do that to one another. Not that she could change the basic fact that high school was where you figured out where you fell. With a smile, stopped and back tracked to where he was, clutching her binder to her chest. "Nothing really." The girl said as she stopped on the curb near the large disposals. "Wait... Kyle Corbett? What did he do to you?" The tone in her voice one of question, not accusation as she tilted her head to the side.

Though some embrace their popularity, others embrace their brains. Across the quad, Harrison on the bleachers with his laptop on his lap. Usually her hung out in the cafeteria but a meeting for the photography club had sent him out into fresh air. Harrison wasn't sure what was more uncomfortable about trying to work outdoors, the sun in his eyes or the possibility that he may be targeted by the jocks. It definitely wouldn't be the first time and the encore performance is only inevitable. Which is why as Harrison sat cross legged on the sun warmed metal, he had his laptop encased partially in its padded protective layers. Harrisons fingers flew across the keyboard, lost in the 15th century England that happened to be the topic of both his first essay of the semester and his light reading book at home.

He rolled his shoulders to loosen the muscles there that had knotted from the tension that had collected over the forty five minutes that made up his free period. Then a pair of soft hands rested on his shoulders and he practically jumped out of his skin. When he looked over his shoulders he was almost nose to nose with Leah Kim. He personally thought she was too pretty to be caught hanging around him but even when he had told her that this summer she had laughed in his face. "Any particular reason that you are practically kissing me?" She said, eyes alight. At the thought of kissing his friend, Harrison jolted backwards, loosing his balance, falling onto the space between bleacher benches. "Was that necessary?" He said irritated, resting on his forearms, looking up at her smiling face.

Apologies for the short post.

Aaron smiled as Beatrice turned to face him, responding to the greeting he'd offered her. Today, she was looking finer than ever. Her make-up really highlighted the beauty of the eyes she possessed. Although, the girl had such a beautiful face that even with no make up on, Bea still looked like the Victoria Secret models, with clothes on of course. After her response however, came the question that he'd completely forgotten about. Kyle, whom was just now trying to climb out of the dumpster without getting his Michael Kors blazer dirty. However, with the leftover food from yesterday's lunch already leaking out of the garbage bags the worst was inevitable. He heard the girl who in all honestly had a very good sense of style speaking to the twin Neanderthal number two, which was clearly obvious had it out for the dark haired Beatrice. Although she questioned the Jock's actions, her tone didn't exactly suggest judgement.

"
I didn't do anything to him. This is just some kind of reckless action he takes apart in to make sure no one questions his popularity." At this point, the very well dressed homosexual teen had managed his way out of the trash block and picked up his Jack Spade messenger bag from the floor. Obviously, Aaron had no idea how long it took for Kyle to remove the gross pieces of debris off of his clothing, but like most his actions were just overlooked. Without waiting for a response the shorter male walked away, cutting through the football field to reach the big building. It was a real struggle to be the only openly gay student in the entire school, and have to deal with bullying that no one else understood. However, he always seemed to find witty and intelligent ways to retaliate against these verbal and sometimes physical attacks. As he crossed through the path, he noticed Leah and Harrison. Harrison was so handsome and so intelligent, Kyle's dream guy. Except for one problem, a problem that made him the loneliest person in the school. He was straight. And Leah was some sort of nerdy girl who couldn't dress herself at all.

"He didn't do anything, we just let him offer his services in helping find a necklace Erin lost yesterday. So kind of him, right?" That was sort of true. Well, actually no. It wasn't true. Erin had lost her necklace in the bathroom trash which was emptied into a different dumpster but Kyle had no need for that info. They'd simply threatened him although at this point his placement into the garbage was a norm. So norm, that teachers saw them and just kept walking. That was the cool luxury of being a football player. No one cared what you did as long as you didn't kill someone. Although, sometimes he felt bad for the kid. However, he did offer to let him keep his bag Michael Ross bag, or something like that out of the filth. That was enough help right?

@jacunliffe

The girl merely arched her eyebrow slightly and pursed her lips. Kyle had a point. This didn't serve any purpose really other than that. Her chocolate brown eyes hovering on the boys Jack Spade messenger bag that even though it was slightly dusty prom the pavement was definitely stylish. Before returning her gaze to Aarons. With a small last flicker of acknowledgement of the others behind him, Beatrice spoke levelly. "Did he find the necklace then?" She said sliding the binder under her arm. It wasn't a bad thing that she downplayed herself but no matter what she was definitely one of those girls that people admired. At least she wasn't a bitch like some. "Cause clearly you really want to find it for her". She said as a light gust of wind blew through the parking lot.

Through her lashes she could see just how angular his jaws were. With the light hitting it at that specific angle they really were defined and quite strong. No wonder he was one of the guys that girls whispered about in the hallways. She had never really bothered to check their facts or focus on guys all too much since all they wanted was to get in her pants. In all honesty, that was probably most of the girls goals too. At least when she goes to parties that the insane amount of making out that goes on kind of turned her on. Did that make her desperate or just a hormonal girl? Both? Shifting her weight she sighed, the migraine from that morning budding once more.

Harrison rose from his knees and brushed off his new khaki pants so that he didn't look too dishevelled. Sitting down on the bleachers once more, he shut down his laptop and zipped up its black case in a swift motion. Setting it under the bleachers he tapped the spot beside him, motioning for Leah to sit down. He liked hanging out with her since she didn't spout any of the gossip crap that never ended up very well for anyone. It seemed that any time that rumours flew through the school they spiraled into a whirlwind that devastated anyone in its path. Like usual, Leah sat down and tucked her hair behind her ear so that she could see him.
"Did you see the AV club sign up sheet yet?" The girl said flattening her red plaid skirt that went past her knees.

Around the time that they had met in Chemistry in ninth grade, they had instantly clicked since they both had similar interests, personalities and really had no one else to cling to. The damn school was dog eat dog and they were the freaking puppies that got caught in the crossfire. Of course it could be worse for him if he was gay. But lately he had started wondering why being a homosexual was so faux pas at McKinley. Looking out at the path that led to the school, he noticed Kyle. Kyle was a prime example of how the schools hypocritical society picked on those who were.. well different. Snapping out of his thoughts, his focus shifted from Kyle to Leah. "Oh no not yet... How many people signed up so far?"

The male smiled at her and tucked his hands in his varsity jacket. "Well, no. But, you know how Erin gets and Veronica is really mean when they're unhappy so I'd rather just help out." It was true. Veronica was such a cold-hearted bitch and truly seemed to be fending her true self from something. His eyes squinted as the sun glinted into them, hazing his view of the pretty girl in front of him. "Do you have anything you want found? I'm sure with a little coaxing or a slushie to the face Kyle will find it for ya." Ah yes, the slushies. Those things were the handiest weapons, I mean they stung and left just the right amount of humiliation to last the rest of the day. They were perfect, although if he was on the other side of the cup he probably wouldn't have like them.

Now, as he spoke to her Aaron realized just how much tucked away emotion he had for the girl. She was popular, but never picked on anyone. The only thing that made it faulty was the fact that she was one of the small percentage of girls who didn't put out. Guys called her the biggest tease, an even bigger tease than Erin Coleman. Make-Outs that would get a guy so turned on that it became painful. This called for a cool down tactic, his being the perfect combination of frightening and painful. So far, he'd only ever had to use this in his double hookup with Veronica and Lindsay who seemed to be so into threesome make outs that it was a bit sketchy.

As the teen walked by he noted the fact that the two seemed to be engulfed in a conversation for AV Club. The nerdiest club of all, if he wanted another slushie added to the ones he already got, he'd be sure to sign up. Entering the building, his ears were instantly filled with the many mumbles that the gossiping student body offered. The boy definitely walked with some attitude, despite the treatment her received. Kyle had entered just in time to see a girl whom he'd shared a conversation with once or twice be slushied. It was a shame too, her shirt was a light denim color that would definitely be stained red for the rest of the day.

Rolling his eyes, the teen continued on his way. This time, his attention being caught by a lime gree paper, hidden behind the others. It was blank except for one neatly signed, Charlotte Evans. Of course, the Glee Club sounded vaguely familiar to him. It was the Auditorium, Finn Hudson had been a kid whose life had been changed by the New Directions. Because of this, and only because of this the dark haired male also scribbled his name down neatly. This only after he made sure no one had seen him. Afterwards, he continued on to his locker.

@jacunliffe

The corner of Beatrice's mouth lifted into a smirk at that. "Veronica.... Well I guess you got to make sure she doesn't become your cock block then. She could really screw with your rep." The words slid out like they were some sort of offhanded comment. But than again she had quite a habit of making her quips sound anything but what they are. With a smile she watched him carefully. Almost like she was studying him for something. No... more like mapping him out. Aaron perplexed her in a way most guys usually didn't. Typically the boys at the school make out, hook up and then move on. He had made out with the entire Cheerios team and no doubt a large portion of the rest of the school. But with her he just talked. Was she like... repulsive or something? Was it the fact that she didn't put out? Because that wasn't going to happen just on the fact that they score some beer and say a few sexy things.....

As he spoke, she did question him once again before moving on. Running her nimble fingers through her hair, she replied curtly.
"I don't lose things generally. But thanks for the offer. If I do loose something though I will make sure I let you know."

Using he nails she arranged strand of hair in an unpinned basket weave as she spoke before neatly unweaving it. "Of course then again... maybe I won't." The girl replied with a smile before turning on a kitten heel and making her way towards the school. It was nice that the faculty had been changed. Perhaps if the schools teacher lineup changed she wouldn't automatically be accused of texting under her desk. Why not take advantage of the clean slate opportunity? So as she walked down the hall, she checked the sign up board to see if any new clubs popped up with the new teachers arrival. Looking over them she saw the sign up for Glee Club on the lime green paper that listed two names. It did actually look interesting but there was no way she would join any club that involved being the only kid of any hierarchical power.

Harrisons question hung in the air for a moment before Leah picked up on it. Clearly going off in her own muddled world for a moment before looking at him. "We have 3 so far but I think when we put our names on the list we will gain a few more." The Asian girl said smoothing her skirt once more with her hands. "So that's five in total? Is that more than last year? I think it is but if one of them drops out then I might have to work sound and electrical too" He said thinking through logistics. "Yah.... " Leah replied standing up. "Well we should sign up at least before they take down the list." Leah says before hopping down the steel seats and down onto the grass. Harrison naturally rose, snatched the handle of his laptop case and followed her with a skip in his step.

The pair walked into the school with smiles on their faces that weren't fake like the Cheerios or proud like the jocks. They were genuinely glad. Entering the school, they weaved between students and parted so that she could get her binders. So Harrison made his way to the bulletin board and wrote both of their names on the AV club sign up sheet and then flipped through the rest gently. Noticing the lime green paper, he recalled the history of the Finn Hudson auditorium and decided to audition at least for the sake of the clubs history.

"Nah, I would never let her get in the way of other chicks. She and Lindsay are way too close, it's weird. I mean, I'm just being helpful." The mention of Veronica Abbott becoming a cock block for him made Aaron feel a bit uncomfortable. Was she hinting at herself? Aaron was getting too confused with this, his mind was not quick enough to comprehend what she'd just said. "Anyway, are you gonna try out for the Cheerios? I heard Coach Parker is actually being forced to let everyone try out." It was true, for 3 years, she hadn't allowed anyone to try out unless you met a certain type of weight, height, and appearance levels. But this year, Principal Pollack had been forced to make her give open auditions as parents were beginning to complain. That guy was so cheap, he'd do anything to stop a lawsuit.

When he spoke, he noticed the way she seemed to be thinking about something. He wondered if Beatrice was thinking about him, maybe join the other mounds of girls who dreamed of him everyday. But, like any reality he knew that she was not that type of girl and to be very honest , as much as he liked her she was just too hard to try for. If Coach Owens found out he was messing with a lot of girls at the same time and thought it was messing with his game, he'd force Aaron to join the celibacy club again. And the name of the club just bought chills to him. Celibacy was for losers who wanted to get on Erin's good side or people who were Erin's boyfriends. He scratched his neck before looking at the others behind him. Her presence was making him seem soft. Then she said one more thing, and left. Walking away, beautifully as she always did. He also walked away cutting through the football field with his crew.

Speaking of the devil, Coach Parker narrowed her eyes as she walked through the hallways of Mckinley High. The smell of teenagers made her want to throw up, in fact she sometimes wanted to lock all of them up in a very tight space for a week and let nature take over. However, she was not legally allowed to do that. Then again, when had the word
legally ever stopped her. She was the only person worth receiving the pay that she did, and her team was the only team worth funding in this entire joke of a school. No little Glee Club was going to come and ruin it for her. She needed the 5,000 dollars to fly her team out for nationals or have her uniforms pressed and dry cleaned in Europe. No one messed with Holland Parker, not Pollack and definitely not Daniel Schuester. Where the hell had that guy come from anyway? His hair cut made him look like he belonged on the back of a Brillo pad.

As the bitter woman walked she noticed the two nobody's signing up for clubs, and then noted the 6 page sign up that had already been filled for Cheerios Auditions. I mean, there was a waiting list for the sign-up, and the Glee Club sheet barely had 5 names on it, scratch that it didn't even had five names. Girls had been lined up outside the school before it'd even begun in order to have a chance to sign up and wear the uniform. In reality, she'd probably deny all of them. After all, she'd agreed to let all of them try out. Coach Parker had never agreed to let any of them join. Reaching to the sheet she glared over to the two who were standing near her, "
Shouldn't you two be somewhere waiting to be slushied?" Her gaze then shifted to the girl of the two, "Don't you dare sign up for the Cheerios. Your legs are a weird shape and I don't like it." With that, she removed the Cheerio clipboard and walked away.

The lines in his forehead creased when Coach Parker walked over to them. This was bound to turn out poorly as all situations with her do, since she is the rudest teacher in town. As she spoke, Harrison found his insides deflating under her bitter, unyielding gaze. This woman was pure hatred and insults. What was with her and that obsession with cheerleading she had? Was it because she wasn't good enough for the team when she was younger and now she took out her frustrations in all of the poor students at McKinley? Whatever the case, she really needed an attitude makeover. It was a miracle that she didn't have parents complaining to the school or lawsuits.... Now that he had thought about it she probably did but blackmailed them into submission.

However, Leah was past deflation. It was as if she had collapsed at the sharp tongued words of abuse the teacher had spewed her way. The girl had known her legs weren't her greatest feature and they probably never would be. But for somebody to point that out like that so blatantly bothered her.
"Too bad they didn't replace her over the summer." Leah muttered bitterly watching the retreating form of the Coach move through the hallways like she was parting the red seas. "I really hope she gets what's coming to her." Harrison muttered as he too watched her turn the corner before looking back at his friend. Her legs were definitely not weird shaped. In fact they weren't that far from the average shape that most girls her height had. But they weren't the twigs that the Cheerios possessed. So turning back to the papers, he signed his name below Kyle and Charlottes in his angular handwriting.

Beatrice had heard what Aaron had said and looked at the Coach as she snatched the clipboard and stalked off after insulting the pair that had just signed up for.. AV Club. That was it, she was sure of it. Debating on whether or not she should try out this year she bit her lip. Probably better not to. Since then she would be on even more radars if she obtained the uniform and title of Cheerio. Her gaze shifted to the pair of nerds and then the green sheet of paper they proceeded to sign. The same one that she had been contemplating signing. With a slight wince at what she was about to do, she moved towards the paper and wrote her name at the very bottom that was nearly covered by other pages. At least her name was slightly hidden but still visible. Looking over her shoulder, the beauty backtracked and glided back down the hallways.

I can add another paragraph if necessary. Just let me know.

After watching Coach Parker retreat from a safe distance, Ross and Sam walked down the hallway hand in hand. Like always the dirty blonde girl chewed her gum, while giving everyone a look of disgust. Sam on the other hand, gave everyone who passed them a slight smile and sometimes even mumbled a hello. They were an odd couple, not only because their personalities were completely the opposite of each other's but because of their customs. She didn't belong to any kind of sports or clubs but was somehow very well known and popular, maybe even sometimes too popular. There had been rumors for years, 3 years to be exact, that the girl had been cheating profusely on the sweet Asian football player. But of course, he really didn't care. At this point, he continued his relationship because it'd been far too long since he'd done anything without Ross there bossing him around and he felt that if they broke up she'd probably kill him.

Sam spotted Leah and Harrison, who seemed to have been the victims of Coach Parker. God, that woman was so mean all the time. They approached in a calm manner, the boy offering a smile to the other Asian girl, whom he secretly longed to be in a relationship with. Ross gave a sort of smile, before speaking. "
Harrison, you're looking adorable as always. Leah...something's different about you, did you change your haircut? It looks good." Although the first compliment directed to the male sounded genuinely flirty and real, the second directed towards Leah had sounded faker than Kanye's singing. Sam of course, interfered quickly in order to avoid the backlash of her backhanded insult. "Your hair looks lovely, Leah. Nice to see you two again. What clubs did you sign up for?" His question was only asked to quickly change the subject in order to avoid another attack from his very bipolar girlfriend. In a way however, he was interested in knowing which clubs his secret crush would be in so that he could many just casually sign up also. To be honest, he'd take a slushie for her any day.

Of course, as Beatrice seemed in such a rush and Daniel Schuester was also in a rush. The two collided in a very uncomfortable way, his tea thankfully spilling on himself rather than on the pretty student. Although it burned, he clenched his jaw to avoid any inappropriate phrases from escaping his lips and instead offered an apologetic smile. "
Oh! I'm so sorry. It's so early in the year and I've probably already earned a hater, like you kids say." He let out an awkward chuckle as his own joke before trying to dry the hot liquids off of him. The teacher had seen her around before, correction, he'd heard her singing before and she had been amazing. However, the girl hadn't been in either his study hall or jazz band so he hadn't had a chance to introduce himself or invite her to join Glee. It seemed like the Gods had spoken and this was his chance. "I'm Mr. Schuester, or Mr. Schue. This is my first year teaching here so I haven't quite met everyone, what's your name?"

@jacunliffe

Leah and Harrison had been talking in whispers that sounded angry, though most likely directed at Coach Parker. As they approached them, Leah nudged Harrisons arm with the tip of her elbow to divert his attention to the two. Leah didn't particularly like the two of them since Ross tended to be a bit stuck up and sarcastic whenever she was around. It wasn't like she was a threat to her or her boyfriend. Why couldn't she just chill out? Turning to face the couple, she put on an equally fake smile. "I did actually! I added layers and stuff. Glad you guys noticed." She says with a smile before glancing to the fine looking male on her arm. It would be rude to reply any less. Plus, Ross could probably assign an extra slushy to her name every day for the rest of her pitiful high school life. "How are you two? I haven't seen you around and I didn't run into you all summer!" Harrison said, sensing the tension between the two females, easing in with a smile.

Beatrice had been so deep in thought as she moved at a pace that made her look a bit funny in her heels, that when the teacher had run into her, she lost her balance and had to stabilize her self on his arm. Something about the way she had run into him was uncomfortable to her, since she clearly looked like a ditzy high school girl and he now had tea all over him. And by the looks of it, the water was still very, very hot when they collided. With a small smile of her own, she let go of his arm and stood straight as he apologized.
"I wouldn't say hater since it was my fault. And I am so sorry that my stupidity ruined your shirt!" The popular girl said apologetically in return. She truly did eel bad for being in such a rush that she had walked into a teacher in the hallway. That had never happened before, and when she did walk into people they tended to be the ones apologizing. Besides that, she never had truly apologized to anybody. But making a 'hater' that had power over her diploma probably wasn't a good idea.

With a smile, the girl nodded as the adult introduced himself and then she parted her perfectly lined lips to reply. "I wondered why I didn't recognize you." She said, putting the fact he was a new teacher here and why he had made the comment about a hater. Most teachers here didn't care enough to even bother making a joke. "Anyways, My names Beatrice." The dark haired girl said to him. She did have to admit that when he was trying to dry off his shirt, which she did feel super bad about, she had done a mental breakdown of him. He was fairly fit, attractive for a teacher. And he seemed to have... well. Manners. Something the schools faculty lacked. Just look at Coach Parker. And maybe even the Principal if you wanted to connect the dots along those lines. "What class do you teach?" She says tipping her head with the question.

Ross gave quite an unsatisfied smile at the polite response she received from the Asian girl, something she'd not expected contrary to the insult she'd laid out. Her misty green eyes drifting back to Harrison's handsome face. He was cute, and very screwable yet there was something about his relationship with Leah that revolted her stomach. Running her hand through her dirty blonde hair, she looked to her boyfriend in order to respond for the question they'd been asked. Except, knowing Sam he'd come up with something boring and Ross needed her reputation to stay fun and risky. "We went away together, this Summer so we're fantastic. Lots of fun, if you know what I mean. That might've been why you didn't see us together... But we're back now and ready to win Homecoming Queen and King."

This response was followed by her arm wrapping itself slyly around her boyfriend's giving a dirty look to Leah, followed by a satisfied smirk. "
Uh, by fun she means we hung out at the beach a lot. There was so many fun people, ahaha." The nicer male gave a genuine and discrete smile. Knowing what Ross had said was a lie, she'd gone off with some guys almost every night and he'd stayed at the beach house sitting in front a camp fire by himself. All in all, he'd been thinking about his Asian crush the whole 2 months they'd been away. "Are you guys signing up for something?"

Mr. Schuester smiled a bit at her apology, "
Well then, I hope your clothes are fine as well. Don't worry about my shirt, I've lived through worse." It was true, he had lived through worse considering the hyperactivity of his siblings as children. As much as their mother, Emma, had tried to keep them in order and clean. Children were children and cleanliness for more than 15 minutes at a time was inevitable, with the exception of his sister of course whom was just as OCD as their lovely mom. The shirt seemed to be slightly less damaged than he'd thought as the napkin he'd held under the mug was managing to dry up the hot liquids very effectively. From the looks of the girl, it seemed that she was very well-dressed and carried herself in a manner of confidence that many of the Cheerios carried themselves with. Yet, her outfit was not the red and white outfit that the girls on the Cheer team wore.

"
Pleasure to meet you, Beatrice. Lovely name." He smiled a polite smile, one that when given implied light friendship between student and teacher. Of course, he remembered quickly her question that was asked next, and took it as an advantage to state his leadership of the Glee Club and recommend she joined it. Since, it was a crime to try and deny that her voice was amazing and they surely needed someone like her. "I teach Music Appreciation, and Jazz. I'm also the Staff in charge of Glee Club." Daniel waited a bit to present his suggestion, trying to make it sound as least desperate as possible. "You know, I've heard your voice before, and if you haven't yet. Maybe you should try out? It'll be fun."

{That happens to me frequently. :c I think you should take over Mademoiselle's charrie because obviously I can't stop my girl any longer.}

{

Katherine || Cristopher}

The girl lit up the rolled up white paper with finely cut tobacco inside —in simplest terms also known as a cigarette— and felt her troubles float away with the puff of smoke she exhaled. Around her were other kids also smoking, though the contents inside their rolled up paper were illegal unlike the tobacco in hers, their rolled up papers contained little illegal peaces of a herb. Katerina retrieved her headphones from her backpack and connected it wirelessly with her phone. Music started to flow in her ears and quickly she forgot her surroundings. She was so absorbed in her own little world that she didn't notice anyone around her until a large, meaty hand landed on her shoulder. The brunette took a long last drag before throwing her cigarette to the ground and stomping on it with her shoe. A faint red flush crept up Coach Owen's neck as the girl raised an eyebrow at him with an annoyed look flashing her expression. He narrowed his eyes at her and then at the scattered burnt out cigarettes around her before grabbing her arm roughly and saying in a low voice "
you're coming with me young lady" as he dragged her inside the building.

Walking down the hallway, Christopher high-fived his best friend, Lucas, after successfully, and very humiliatingly, slushied a cute blond girl standing by the school's bulletin board. Charlotte he thought her name was, though he wasn't really sure. She was in the same grade as him, and if he wasn't a jock and had a reputation to uphold, he'd always thought he'd like to hang out with her. She seemed more down to earth and had this certain aura, one that seemed the most interesting, that none of the girls in school ever gave off. Not even his oh-so-popular, head of the cheerios squad, prom-queen, girlfriend, which Lucas just had mentioned. Christopher shrugged and shoved his hands down his jean pockets as he replied sheepishly"
I don't know man, she's head of the celibacy club and stuff, I don't really feel like pressuring her, that's all."

If he had to be honest, Christopher wouldn't say he ever felt a connection, or ever would, with Erin. Sure she was hot: every guy wanted her and every girl wanted to be her. Though the tiniest voice inside him echoed that it wasn't enough even though he always shut that voice down and reassured himself that he didn't have to feel anything really deep to be with someone. Christopher shut down his trail of thought as he saw Coach Owens stomping by with a bored looking Katherine Parker towards the principals office. He looked back at his friend, changing the subject as he asked "
I heard that our next game is going to be against Alberton High, what do you think about that?"

Katherine's heart beat a little faster as she walked by one of the most popular, and possibly biggest jerk, in school, Lucas Howell. No matter how many times she tried shacking and subduing her little crush of him, she couldn't ignore it when she saw him. But really, what girl, or woman, could resist the Lucas Howell charm? Judging from the ever-present rumors, not many.

The brunette snapped out of her reverie when she nearly crashed against Coach Owen's back when he stopped abruptly in front of the principals office. Coach grumbled something that sounded like ¨stay here¨ so she plopped down on one of the chairs and settled her headphones on her neck. Katherine could distinctively hear Coach Owens complaining and Principal Pollack saying something about a budget. A minute or two later, the door was flung open and the girl was ushered inside the familiar office. She had been here so many times it seemed that if she closed her eyes she could imagine the room from the flickering, cheap lights above to the cracked edges of the bottom of the wooden table to perfection. Katherine sat down on the most comfortable chair in front of the principal's table as he began droning on about consequences and how smoking below the bleachers was prohibited because parents started complaining and the school wouldn't waste budget on hiring a cleaning staff.
Blah blah blah. She only really started listening when he mentioned that she didn't have enough art credits. Katherine sat up from her lounged position to listen better. "Wait, what?" Principal Pollack seemed slightly annoyed at her interruption and that he had to repeat himself. "I was saying that you need more art credits but there are no more spaces in the art classes, so you'll have to join an art club. You can sign up in one in the bulletin board outside." She nodded and took that as a dismissal so she slung her backpack over her shoulder and walked outside towards the board. The brunette stood there for a while, looking at all the clubs before deciding to join one called "Glee Club". It sounded like an okay club, not too many people. She quickly wrote her name under all the other's and adjusted her headphones over her ears again as another song started playing.
