50 years ago, a tempest with an intensity so strong wiped out a large part of the world, leaving a poisonous fog behind its wrath. Many peoples couldn’t react in time, with the searchers not finding any clues on what was exactly happening. However, a few places weren’t affected by it, and became shelters for those who could make it in time until the tempest encompassed everything. For those who were abandoned, they lived their last moments with their loves one, and others left their humanity behind doing atrocious things in their last moments. The fire started to take place everywhere, made by humans themselves who wanted to release their fury against what they considered an injustice. It was a true apocalypse taking place, and there was nothing they could do, but sit and watch or act for nothing. After all these years, some of them may might have survived, but most believed they were dead since the beginning of the tempest.
Since that day, a handle of survivors struggle to survive buried inside a mountain. Despite the best attempt from the engineers to find a solution to search for life, there was no signal from the outside as the communication system was seemingly destroyed from the impact, which means there was no way to know if you could last long enough back down. With a large door at the entrance locked since their first day, it was time for the peoples of the mountain to walk back to their ancestor territory. The mountain had been equipped with many technologies to make their miserable life a little better, but the time had come to find a final solution to their worries. Their resources were getting low along the air becoming worse every day. They were sitting on a ticking bomb and had to act fast with a last trump card.
After a long and crucial meeting between the leaders of the mountain, it has been decided that a few were going to be chosen by a lottery for an important mission depending on their roles. Although they had no idea what was awaiting them outside, they had no choice but to go back on earth, and verify if the others shelters are still alive. Some say it was a suicide, and some were believing in a new and bright future.
Hi, and welcome to my interest check! I'm still unsure if it fits in the realistic or fantasy category, but I think it will fit better here. As you can see, this RP will start in a tense environment which will only get worse as time passes on. The idea came from the series "The 100", which I love a lot
I think you clearly see it, but there will be a lot of drama, friendship and enemies with many plot twists awaiting us if you join. With the way I see it, everyone will have a chance to shine with their characters when they will be outside! Don't hesitate to ask anything that doesn't seems clear.
I need at least 4 members before launching it. I won't force you to post every day because I know it's impossible for many, but if you have to go on a vacation or anything personal that doesn't allow you to reply, please advertise me. Also, I would like to avoid one-liner post unless you really don't have anything to work on.
