THE PACKMost members of the Pack were born werewolves. They tend to keep to their own kind and rarely take in outsiders. However, their rivalry with the Kennel compels them to protect the humans. There are no physical disadvantages to becoming a werewolf, but they think the Kennel's reckless tradition will soon attract unwanted attention from the government.
THE KENNELThe Kennel is the larger of the two werewolf communities as they frequently welcome newly-turned humans into their ranks. Every summer, they send out three of their young adults to live as dogs and turn a human. Arrangements are made with connections to the animal shelter so they can be adopted immediately. College students tend to be the preferred demographic: strong, young, and educated.
THE STRAYSWerewolves with no alignment live by their own rules. Many Kennel wolves who refuse to bite a human have left. Some humans who have been turned but still want to live life like before are also considered strays. Members of the Pack who have married humans are usually met with disapproval and disappointment, so they leave to pursue a normal life. Basically, they are any werewolves not currently associated with the Pack or the Kennel.
THE HUMANSAll citizens of Lunawood are aware of the werewolf stories and occasional sightings. Some are skeptical, while others have a live-and-let-live attitude. After all, if they can only shift into domesticated animals, they don't seem to pose any significant dangers. The werewolf population is still relatively small, so most pet dogs are actually dogs.
