Shireling
A Servant of King and Country
Cognitive bliss
I find in the mist
How it wraps around trees
How it dances on the breeze
How it flitters along over branch and fallen log
Blanketing the world in a soft, forenoon fog
And when at the noontide
The mist calmly dies
And the world stands out in crystalline clearness
Drake, pheasant, deer and fowl, how intimately blessed
And the world stands out in crispness, the mist is gone now
Was it even there, anyhow?
I find in the mist
How it wraps around trees
How it dances on the breeze
How it flitters along over branch and fallen log
Blanketing the world in a soft, forenoon fog
And when at the noontide
The mist calmly dies
And the world stands out in crystalline clearness
Drake, pheasant, deer and fowl, how intimately blessed
And the world stands out in crispness, the mist is gone now
Was it even there, anyhow?
