The Plot Thus Far...
It has been many years since the last conflict between nations. Relations between nations are better than ever. However, all is not perfect in the world. Years have passed since Avatar Korra's death, and yet the next Avatar has yet to be found. For a while, no one was worried, but as more time passed, and as people began to remember the issues that had occured during Avatar Aang's disappearance, tensions began to rise. Secretly the other nations have begun to suspect the Earth Kingdom has been hiding the avatar, and have individually launched investigations.
Unknown to the nations, this focus on the Avatar has left the nations vulnerable. During the absence of the Avatar, and the world's growing preoccupation with them, a secret society has infiltrated the inner most reaches of each of the governments. Their intentions were unclear, until the leaders of all of the governments simultaneously vanished without a trace. The deception was revealed, the group took credit, and rising tensions give way to full on conflict as each Nation struggled against this new unknown threatening force.
Now, a group of benders and non-benders alike must find and convince the Avatar to come out of hiding to bring peace back to the world once again. At the same time, a team of villains searches for the Avatar as well, hoping to convince them to join their cause or to destroy them once and for all.
Sub-Plots
This is the location that all subplots will be posted. If you have suggestions, PM one of the GMs.
Current: None
General: None
The Krew: None
The Enemy: None
Past: None
Time Period:
A number of years after Avatar Korra's Death. Things look much like our world's current time, with the main difference being there are benders. That being said, with the technological boom, benders are becoming more and more obsolete as technology has begun to bridge the gap.
General Map:
The Nations:
Air Nation:
While still a relatively small nation with a smaller population, the Air Nation has really changed to embrace the times. While is some villages and towns in remote areas maintain the old ways, most of the more populated areas have embraced the age of technology.
Earth Kingdom:
The Earth Nation continues to plow on, as is its norm. It is still the number one nation for agriculture, and still the number one in population. The development of democracy has greatly unified the gigantic kingdom.
Fire Nation:
The fire nation is the second most generally technologically advanced nations. It is also the number one nation for industrial exports. Through the years it has retained it's notoriety as the nation with the strongest military, though these days the military is used mostly for humanitarian work.
Water Tribes:
After the Era of Avatar Korra, the two water tribes are still very much independent from each other. However, like the other nations, progress has continued, and relationships between the two tribes as well as the other nations have been peaceful.
United Republic of Nations:
Still the mecca for the advancement of technology, it's Capital City (Republic City) is the most advanced in the world. It continues to be host to a number of people from many different nations, a melding pot, but the newest generation know it only as home.
Technology
Technology has come a long way since Korra's time, thanks to one Asami Sato and many others. For the most part, technology in the current era resembles the technology we have today.
It should be noted, however, that bending is still part of life. This is still an Avatar Roleplay, just with different timing. There are still bending gangs causing havoc with their bending, and water bending is still the best and quickest way to heal. However, the world has moved forwards to make it easier for others to be able to keep up with the benders, or at least continue to sufficiently function without the benders.

Rules
- Casual length posts. About a paragraph per character, so think twice before making 3-4.
- Activeness. Not 24/7 obviously, but maybe once a day and tell us when you'll be missing. Two weeks of inactivity without notification and we will have to kick you out.
- Character Number: You can have one character max in each group (i.e. One good guy, one bad guy). One character in general is preferred. (Exception: Unlimited number of temporary NPCs)
- No God Modding. It's no fun for anyone if your character is overly powerful and can't be stopped. The Avatar has limits, and so should you. Also don't kill or other wise seriously injure others characters without permission.
- If you've read these rules and agree, write "I have read and Agree to the Rules" and your favorite animal and post it here.
- We are nice people, but if you cause trouble or Break rules you will be warned. If you continue to break rules we reserve the right to boot you from the RP.
