The Midground is a large tower almost smack dab on the border of the Alpha and Omega sectors. This was a tower built by the Business, and it's first few floors are designated to be open to anyone in need of them. There are some beds, a cafeteria where money is not needed, different rooms with television and electricity, and bathing rooms. However, the midground has rules. The rules are as follows:
-No drugs (alchohol permitted)
-Limit smoking to the designated areas
-No stealing
-No killing
-Take all disputes outside and leave them there
All who are in the building are expected to follow these rules. To those who don't, the others are welcome to exact justice as they see fit.
The floors above it are home to the offices, housing areas, and workspaces of the members of the Business. Those who bring more into the company with their daring endeavors are welcome to the areas yet further up in the tower.
And of course, at the top, there is the suite of the man who started it all; Cervena McGale. He maintains his status by still taking part in the more high end operations, as well as expending his resources to keep those in the lower levels out of trouble. This area is no means off limits, as he regularly opens his personal part of the building to others for social occasions (parties, humanitarian rights assemblies, and anti-plutocracy movements, just to name a few). However, the 'Simple Businessman' is rarely seen at these occasions, and his involvement in them is not usually endorsed publicly.
