The Merrydale
Two best friends with hopes of finding love decide at the last minute they would board a cruise heading to New York,Due to a sudden hurricane the cruise ship: The Merrydale has been diverted to safely avoid the hurricane,As the passengers and crew slept the hurricane changes course and is headed straight for The MerrydaleAspiring Captain Greg Leigh from Arizona and his crew work in unprecedented conditions to get the ship to a safe location to wait out the hurricane but with the waves growing stronger by the minute the ship becomes to take on water and the young Captain Leigh must make the decision to abandon the ship he had captained for only 2 years,Instructing his crew to save as many lives as possible

Selina Dale:
A 26 year old woman with silvery blonde hair,blue eyes and black framed glasses that perfectly fit her face. Selina is a newly promoted detective who hasn’t taken a holiday in 3 years,She’s had one great love in her life who one day got up and just left her life and moved to a different country with out so much as a good bye.Since then Selina finds it hard to put her trust in anyone except her best friend Elizabeth.Selina has had multiple one night stands since then,She lives in a two bed apartment with Elizabeth who is a social worker. (This role is taken by myself,This is here purely for role development)
Elizabeth Shein:
A 27 year old woman with auburn hair and chestnut eyes, After growing up an only child and without money she learned how to take care of herself pretty quickly her mother an ex con in prison for substance abuse, her dead beat dad dead,Killed by local law enforcement for armed robbery,Elizabeth was placed in a care home, despite her parents legacy’s she ended up different,She applied her self in her studies and goer herself a good education even went to uni on a full scholarship in Law,After 2 years as a lawyer Elizabeth began to hate her job and decided to repay the kindness that her foster family had shown her and became a social worker,Elizabeth has not had much luck when it comes to relationship's after coming out as bisexual to her best friend last year she’s had multiple relationship’s with both men and women but none that seem to end up well.
Daphne Quiver:
A 27 year old Black haired woman with a scar on her right eye brow that is very distinctive,When she was little she was in a fire and her right eye brow was completely singed off,she also has a burn scar in her left leg,this makes her very self conscious
Daphne is a cruise entertainer on the Merrydale,she has been a cruise entertainer on several ships before landing a permanent place on the Merrydale two months ago,she has a chilled out personality and lives making people happy,she’s not afraid to stand up for herself or her friends when something is not right
She loves being at sea and is taking things slow in her relationship,her boyfriend remains in Arizona,Whilst at Sea Daphne grows lonely and after seeing a post on a friends Facebook of her boyfriend in the background kissing another woman she ends the relationship and decides that on her day off on board the Merrydale she is going to get drunk and sleep with a random stranger.She is also Open to try new things when it comes to love
Derek Langley:
A 28 year old man.He is a firefighter for the 12th Battalion of Arizona,who’s had a really rough time in the past 4 years,4 years ago Derek was diagnosed with an incurable cancer,His Fiancée left him 2 days after the diagnosis and Derek was forced to go through everything alone,Derek poured himself into debt trying to find cure after cure to kill his cancer,during a hospital visit last year his Doctor broke the news to Derek that the cancer had gone,it was as if someone had made a wish and everything that he had to go through to kill his candle had worked and he was cured.His best friend Leo decided to celebrate by taking him on a cruise to take his mind off of everything the last 4 years had put him through.
Leo Crusade:
A 26 year old man who is a 3rd year medical student,Leo and his Twin brother Captain Greg Leigh were separated at birth after their mother was killed during childbirth and their father was never in the picture.After 23 years of being an only child,Leo decided to take a paternity test to find out about his birth family, he found that he had a twin brother who had been living in Arizona his whole life
After reconnecting with Greg the two brothers soon became close. When Greg became captain of the Merry-dale he was able to take 2 people on his first voyage for free and so Grey chose Leo who then chose to take his best friend Derek who was in need of a good time. The 3 soon became best friends.
Captain Greg Leigh: A 26 year old Brunette haired Captain. After 6 years at sea he was made Captain of the Merrydale,He didn’t have any family up until a few years ago
This made it easier for him to accomplish what he truly wanted from life: Life at Sea
Greg wanted to grow old captaining boats and retire on one eventually. He seeked true love but at Sea his options were severely limited
Greg is a quaint man and it doesn’t take much to satisfy him,he spends his downtime reading and mastering the culinary arts
Greg has also recently announced to his brother that he is bisexual
