Papyrus is a skeleton, living with his older brother at the very edge of the village Snowdin. He's the second-in-command of the guard and is very strong in comparence to most monsters. He's by far not the nicest person and has a habit of constantly making his brothers life a living hell, forcing him to call him 'boss'. Their relationship is mostly resolved around pain and intimidation.
He's very self-absorbed and doesn't really care about the well-being of other monsters. He wouldn't hesitate to slaugther anyone just to set an example.
He rarely shows any form of emotion no matter what's happening around him. He's also totally fine with doing any form of torture or manipulation to get the things he wants and lacks remorse for his actions. When in fight he can manipulate bones which often glow in a red-ish colour.
