95% of the world's oceans and 99% of the ocean floors are unexplored. Even in a world that has managed to embrace magic and embrace technology, it hasn't advanced enough to explore the entire ocean floor. It is difficult, dangerous, time-consuming, resource-expensive, and mana-inhaling.
There is 15,000 miles across with 12,100-36,200 feet of vertical oceanic exploration to do. This is a pipe-dream in your lifetime. You have heard the call of the open waters to stop your mundane life and do something new or crazy. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. A big group consisting of a group of friends, a captain's crew and his co-workers set out to answer some questions
- What's under the depths?
- What life is in the ocean?
- What history of humankind (and other kinds) have been buried under the depths?
- What other species live in the open ocean?
- Are there any civilizations under the water?
- Can new material and magics be discovered under the water?
Marine biologists, Ichthyologists, fantasy artists and authors, Ship and Submarine engineers, underwater welders, conspiracy theorists, and underwater enthusiasts will all benefit to what's found under the watery depths. A trip amongst a group of friends and co-workers could very well culminate in groundbreaking discoveries to magic, technology, biology, or all of them. At minimum though, you will take a nice cruise to see the ocean, swim a little, dive a little, love a little, laugh a lot, and answer the ocean's powerful watery call. Through uncertainty and fear, you will step into the depths of the unknown with a crew by your side and hopefully emerge as an even better person as before, just like how civilization will improve for the better with every foot of the ocean explored.
