The Lost Treasure of Creation OOC

I'm just gonna post this here as a bit of an update so everyone kind of knows what's going on. Once I get enough sign ups, I'll officially start the rp! This will start in the 'over-world', where characters will start out to get some introduction posts, and start figuring out where they will be going based on the information added within. Once a character/group gets to a new area (for simplicity's sake, we'll call these 'dungeons') for their search, a new thread will be opened for that area, where your IC posts will then be made so that it's easier to find and read the relevant information for your characters. This should help groups with slower posting speeds not to get lost in all the posts from the groups with faster posting speeds :P


After a dungeon is cleared, the thread will be locked and the characters will return to the over world, where they can form new groups or remain in the same and search for more info/dungeons/treasures and what have you.


I hope I explained that well enough! It'll be clearer in practice ^^;;
 
Lots of waiting...But I'm hoping to get this started fairly soon! I'm just waiting on a few more character sign ups
 
I'm excited to see how this reboot plays out. We were no where close to finding the treasure last time... Maybe we'll get closer this time? I hope so.
 
I'm planning on carrying this rp through to the end this time! I'm determined! >:o (besides, I had a really good idea of what I want the treasure to be, plus a few small plot line ideas to carry out along with a big over all plot that was going to be revealed...I did a lot of planning haha)


I really do think that the Hosted Project format will help us do that, too, since each thread can kind of be like "chapters" of sorts, and it should be easier to keep track of characters this way ^^
 
So, I think I'm going to give this one more day to collect characters before we start (I want at least one more before we begin, but preferably more...). I work tonight and tomorrow morning, so I'm planning on getting this started when I get home tomorrow evening. Until then, feel free to plot out ideas for dungeons or groups/pairings! I think I'm going to start out this rp with two or three dungeon options to explore, I'll post more about it in the background info area (I'll tag everyone when the post is ready) so that you guys can choose based on the info there. :)


I'm also gonna go over in the Looking for Group thread to post for my three characters, so if you guys have a preference of meeting or traveling with any of them (or wanna make a post for your own character) we can work that out there ^^
 
Well, after falling asleep writing last night, I finally got up and wrote a (more coherent) post for Arya! So at least one post is up haha ^^;


I'll write a post for Geir and Kokoro either on my lunch break or when I get home from work tonight, but feel free to create your guys' intro posts before that, no need to wait for me :P
 
I was on the third paragraph of a pretty long response for Arya when my computer decided to de-select the word box as I was pressing the backspace...the page went back, and returning to the page all of my post was gone o_o Damn. It's 1:30 in the morning and I have to get up at 8. I give up >.> I suppose I'll try again tomorrow xP

Also, @Desert Rose @Creekstar, I'll post for Geir when your guys' characters are closer, I kinda jumped the gun a little by making him start out close to the dungeon ^^''

Alright, the first three dungeon threads are up!


I gotta make a post for Kokoro still, but I gotta go to work now, so that'll have to wait >.> Sorry guys! But I'll get it in either on my lunch break or after work, so that we can all start posting on the respective threads for the dungeons. ^^


(also, don't worry about waiting for Geir, since he's already in the forest...I have a plan for characters meeting him haha)
 
@Eraticwanderer @Radigan I'm not sure if you guys wanted to have Henry actually meet Arya and Kain before arriving at the town, or if either of you want more conversation to happen before they get to the town, but I'm good with whatever you wanna do. So, if you wanna just head over to the "Death Song" thread (yes, I'm naming the dungeon threads like chapters xP), I'm good with that and will post once I get home from work, otherwise we can post on the over world for a little bit more and I'll reply there after work :P

I don't mind either way, Henry will still have more time at the town either way, it'd be an interesting idea to have them all search the town seperately then confront each other about why they're all searching for the same thing.


Also I am on holiday in Madrid so I'll probably make more mistakes.
