Fantasy The Little Witch and her Broken Heart

AuthorSINpie

The sinniest of pies and Pais
Lillian Jameson, a witch with extensive healing abilities, is unable to heal her heart, soul, and mental state from this situation.

She's escaped from a rather abusive relationship, and the witch is stuck on the streets due to her being far from home. Her family thinks she's engaged and happy with him. But she's not, obviously.

When you happen to find this witch on the corner of a street next to a cafe, tired and hungry, what do you do? What happens here?

Agis, an ordinary person, with a tough childhood but with a caring nature at heart as walking the streets early in the afternoon as he had finished his work which required him to work early mornings. He now was on his way home with a box of some pastries which he decided to bring home to keep as he happened to pass the cafe in which he noticed something he had not seen before, a young girl as he looked at her for a bit as he thought: "Is she lost?"

Due to curiosity and worrisome, he approached the girl sitting as he crouched in-front of her "Sorry to bother you miss, but... are you lost or something?"

Lily felt horrible, terrible about herself. Look at her! So skinny, so tiny, no wonder he beat you!

She tried to ask for at least money, barely getting noticed despite her unique looks. Her piercings had been removed and kept in her pockets to prevent infection, but that didn't stop her ears from becoming a red for a long while.

The teenager had been startled when she was approached by a young man, and she cowered back a bit. She felt so out of character, but barely anyone helped her. She was just so lost. She looked up with glowing violet eyes, which seemed much too dull to be considered happy or healthy eyes. Lily looked scared, and almost cowered, pressing her back against the wall of the cafe, one she always admired because it looked so much like the one in her hometown.

She shook her head, "n-no...I'm not lost" she asked, her usual loud voice hoarse and quiet.

Agis was a bit surprised as he didn't realize what Lily's state until he was close to her as he didn't really know how to react to the situation as he looked to his side "oh uh... are you hungry of the sorts?" He would take out his box of pastries which had croissants and a few cakes inside of it as he held it towards her "That if... your hungry that is... I mean... it won't be a problem for me if you take it" He would rub the back of his head as he wasn't sure how to behave.

He would glance to a few people passing as they all looked as if they were purposely ignoring them in a way but he didn't really give much care about their glances

Lily let her eyes widen a bit at the box, before glancing up to the man. The girl whimpered again, still pressing her back against the wall. She then noticed how she could smell some of the sweets, the pastries; her mouth started to water and she roughly grabbed the box, yanking it away, her stomach growling at the smell and thought of actually getting some food.

She opened the box and shoved one of the croissants into her mouth, looking a bit relieved. But she still couldn't trust this man...he could be like him.

Agis would give a warming smile as he looked to her "you must have been starved" he would look to the Cafe next to him "wait here a second" he would stand up again as he walked into the cafe for a few minutes as he walked out with a bottle of water as he held it to her "here, drink this, I'm sure you must be pretty parched aswell"

He would then crouched and sat against the wall near her while holding the bottle to her "Don't worry... I'm not going to do anything funny, I'm not one to pick on people"
