In a city called Acrotopia lived a young man by the name of True Goodman but he went by another persona called the Speedylight. He had a bit of recognition in his city though his often gets complaints about being more careful with his devices. Like almost ruining a warehouse when he was trying to stop some robbery with a glue bomb but he missed and it jammed a cog inside a machine stopping the entirely. The glue had a very strong adhesive and was hard to clean out. It took several weeks to get it finally cleared.

True didn't think about the implications but the fact he was doing something with his life and not feeling like some lost puppy in a society where you have to something like a regular job. He strived for more this time it looked like he finally got that chance. He was at home fiddling with his phone as he got message from it. The message read " Hello !! I need help of stopping the Shadow Queen if anyone can hear this message please respond right away im in desperate need come to Crimston and hurry !! " the message ended as the mayor sounded stern but very impatient. The phone was equipped to a special radio for incoming distress messages.

True's eyes beamed with excitement as he circled around his room as he went into the closet. He grabbed some of his equipment which came with a few Glue Bombs,Smoke Bomb and metal coated darts. Since he wasn't the strongest he has to rely more on his devices along with flight more than anything. He put on his belt as he attached his equipment to it.

Then he grabbed a dark blue eye mask as he tied it around his face. He changed into a costume with a long blue jacket with a white bodysuit with steel toed boots. After that he put his phone into his jacket as he began to ran out of his home. He extended out his arm as he was running across the sidewalk then hopped up and began to soar into the air. True knew exactly where Crimston was as he began to flying to the city.

((sorry, I had things to do until now))

Angelina looked up to the sky, watching the sun slowly fade over the brink of the horizon. She had a lawn chair set up on the abandoned rooftop, She checked the flyer again for some museum exhibit, hardly anything really comes of value in this town anymore. It wasn't as fun as it used to be. Before, everyone didn't really know and so their looks of surprise were amusing. Then came the attempts to stop her: bathing areas in light, sneaking up on her, security, dogs....she personally found the use of dogs quite insulting. How could they expect her to attack some poor creature? That was probably the worst day she beat up all of those guards, not the dogs though.

She stood up, putting on a hood over her face as she instantly created a mask for herself with the dark of her hood. She couldn't create darkness or shadow, but she could use any tiny bit she found and compile it over and over again with other sources before it became nearly invulnerable to the light. She could literally steal someone's shadow. Temporarily of course, she couldn't keep it forever. They were easily made again anyway as soon as a new light source was introduced.

Her uniform consisted of that black hood, nearly a cloak that went down to her waist, and with the shadows created, she wrapped them around her body to create the rest of her uniform. It was perfect. It provided a defense that she could always tell how much longer it would hold out. Plus, if she ever got slashed somewhere, she could just recover her 'uniform' with more shadows. Angie, or rather the shadow queen at this point headed down the building, teleporting down to the base floor when she stepped into a shadow. She tied her hair back into a ponytail and decided to head to the museum to see what they had and if anything caught her eye. She outright walked on the crosswalk, not caring if anyone saw. At this point, everyone learned to leave her alone. She wasn't one of the worst villains by far. Of course, she stole and such, but it wasn't like she murdered children or something. Her crimes weren't considered a national threat or such, it was just her chances of getting away and committing the crime were always high to near perfect.

( Its ok we all have a life I appericate you telling me )

True soon reached his destination as he landed down in the sidewalk of Crimston City. He took a look around for anything out of the ordinary. He pondered to himself crossing his arm. "Now what would a hero as myself do first....." he snapped his fingers. "Ask of course !"

He had moments of where he can be a bit dim witted or even slightly lame. But as he walked over to a person. "Excuse me have you heard of the Shadow Queen ?" he asked. The man looked at him as he shifted his eyes. "You don't wanna mess with her...hmm you some kind of dress up cosplay or something." True groaned slightly as he wished he was taken more seriously. "No sir...look tell me have you seen her or not..." The man pointed to the Shadow Queen walking to the Museum.

True looked over at the Shadow Queen as he gulped slightly. He was wondering why more people didn't try to stop her or why there were no police around. "Strange city..." he said to himself as he began to ran toward Angie's direction.

Angie heard footsteps running towards her, glancing back to the source. Usually, people didn't fight anymore, at least not until after she had stolen something. Just a quick look at him, she could tell he was new. Now was the moment she had to figure out if he was a new hero or a new villain. She glanced down and noticed his white bodysuit. This made her lean more towards him possibly being a hero since villains normally didn't wear bright colors, especially white.

She stopped in front of the stairs leading up to the building, staring at the male with cold eyes. She refused to run because of him, "What do you want, newbie?" she questioned. He had to be new and an out of towner. No hero just directly goes after a villain. She figured he didn't know much about her if he was planning on a frontal attack. She hardly thought he was experienced as a hero. Possibly he stopped a few thieves or criminals, but not a certified villain. Other than talking to him, she didn't seem to react to his appearance. Rather, she was unphased by it.

True gulped a bit slightly at her presence as to him she gave off a superior attitude to him. He stood his ground putting up a face of bravery as he wasn't phased by her cold eyes as he could tell she seemed experienced. "I'm here to stop you from the order of the mayor ! " he yelled out as he held out his hand. Then opened up the palm of his hand as he put his fist on his hip making a somewhat triumph pose.

He stared at her from the bottom of the stairs as he looked at her outfit. He was sure this was the Shadow Queen from the person who told him. But this could've been someone else entirely to him. To him he wanted to claim a sense of pride in hoping he stop her. To him if she was someone was evil why was no one around to stop he figured there would be more of a effort to try and get her. From the glance to him he figured she probably stole rare items or even killed innocents before.

In his eyes he wanted a win for himself as this was his first real fight with a actual villain.

I was curious about the dice, didn't mean to actually roll them.

She stared at the male, staying quiet as she looked him over. Definitely a newbie. She wondered why the mayor decided to try again to stop her before she realized elections were coming around. The people were mad that she could basically run wild. It would make sense they would want to replace the mayor in hopes of someone else solving the problem involving her. She figured this was his attempt to garner votes again.

She put a hand on her hip as she looked him up and down again before speaking "hey newbie, maybe go practice on some other criminals first before you try and stop me. Maybe there's someone stealing candy from kids or something, go stop that" she spoke before turning around and heading up the stairs, not wasting much time since she wanted to be home in a decent hour to pick up the pizza she had ordered. She acted as if she was simply running an errand rather than directly robbing the museum.

( It's ok )

True was stunned as he's jaw drop slightly. His face looked sullied and eyes wide as he shook his head furiously. "You could at try to acknowledge my heroic prowess..." he mumbled to himself. He sighed as he put back his neutral face as he walked closer to her then stopped at the top of the stairs. "I'll say it again give up now otherwise things will go very south..." he said in a more serious tone looking at her more sternly. If there was one thing he hated was someone tarnishing his pride.

He wasn't sure what would happen next but all he knew was he was a bit angry. True wanted to prove himself a actual hero and also prove to her he isn't some kind of joke either. The night air blew slightly around his face as this seemed a bit of a standoff for him. In his mind as well wondered what kind of weapons she had on her or even powers. Part of him didn't think to do a bit of research before coming here but he felt confident enough to fight.

Angie let out a sigh when the kid didn’t relent on the matter. “I’m acknowledging it by telling you to be more of a realist.” She shot back coldly. She rolled her eyes when he threatened her once more, looking up to the night sky as she examined her terrain. Although she didn’t physically have a weapon on her, there was more than enough dark shadows to make up for that fact. “Seriously, I’m warning you. Go practice before you try and attack me or I won’t take any responsibility” she commented.

She could tell he didn’t do much research, so as she still headed for the door she passed by him and lightly patted his back “go, I think the brooks brothers were going to go rob the jewelry store tonight” she added, actually giving the hero a tip on someone he might be able to catch “or actually, two against one might be too much for you, possibly apprehend one and call the police for the other? No doubt they’ll try to jail break” she added, letting go of him as she reached for the door to the museum, finding it locked. She didn’t very much fancy breaking doors and windows, so instead she took the key she swiped from the security room a few weeks back and opened the door before looking back to the hero “see you in what? A few months maybe?”.

True nodded at disagreement as he yelled out at her. "I don't want petty robbers or thieves ! That's a job for the police I want to fight you..." He began to grow even more upset as he gripped his fist tightly looking slightly angry. He didn't care about small time gangsters or petty criminals. Part of him knew what he was getting into but he didn't want to quit outright now and leave her to go into the museum.

"Besides you seem more of a threat then any of time..." he continued. " Im not about to this lose this chance to try and test myself now...I can tell...you have more expierence then most but that's what makes it a heroic challenge..." True then reached at his belt as he grabbed a small metal ball with a small blinking light on it. He can tell she was still set on going inside the museum. So he prepared himself to try and attack him as he could from her tone she was losing her patience. He looked at the keycard she had in her hand. "Plus it's obvious you don't work here..." he said pretty much stating the obvious out there.

But often his anger can make him repeat words or slip off sentences from time to time. Still though he wasn't going to back down now as he wanted to make his idols proud. There was a couple he looked up too that appeared in various books and such. He wanted to be like them when he was much older himself.

She seemed irked when he continued to complain and be bratty. Angie rolled her eyes as she decided to simply end this. She stared at the blinking ball, unaware of what it did although she had no intention of finding out for herself. With a wave of her hand, dark shadows sprang up and solidified before hitting him straight into the stomach, pushing him all the way back until he was on the ground before the stairs.

She finally walked in, slipping the key card back into her spot for it. She headed to look at the paintings, passing by many of the empty spots before she slowly picked up the new exhibit piece: an onyx necklace. She examined it before putting it on herself, clasping it as she smirked. She didn't have to face any alarms, she's disabled those long ago. Angie looked around, wondering if there was anything else she wanted to take though there weren't many new things to take since the last time she visited.

True coughed a bit as he shook his head. He felt winded by the punch from the shadows. "Ouch...that really hurt..." he said under his breath holding his stomach as he was lowered his body then inhaled...and exhaled. He moved his body up as he struggled slightly heading inside the museum.

"Im not quitting now but what kind of power was that..." he mumbled as he stood back up normally looking around. He began climbing back up the stairs as he went inside the museum. He looked around for her as he examined the inside. "No lasers...or anything...man what's with the city and security" he thought as he walked inside. He still had the small blinking ball in his hand. It was one of his Glue Bombs but it put it away in his pocket.

"Better to catch her on the surprise..." True decided instead to take her by surprise as he hid behind a wall as he saw her in the room with the onyx necklace. He observed her watching and waited for her next move. He didn't want to get punched again so in his head he thought about a stealth approach then frontal approach.

Angelina walked slowly out of the room to enter the grand hall of the musuem. She closed her eyes for a moment, remembering the way that things had been in the beginning of her criminal history. She had to learn the hard way how to avoid the security alarms, although she eventually would come to realize she didn't need to. She could fight the guards and with the more training/experience, the less it mattered whether they advanced the security or not. Eventually, the city stopped wasting money on trying to stop her and just focused on others.

She opened her eyes as she looked at the hall, less than empty now ever since she came. She frowned a bit as she looked down to her necklace. It wasn't as fun as it used to be with all the fightings and stuff. It was literally just taking stuff instead of gaining the right to it. Angie headed through the overarching gap that was called the door. She was getting ready to pass by when she paused, looking back to one of the paintings as she considered possibly putting everything back and laying low for a while. Maybe they'll amp up the security and say someone saved all the items and whatnot, and then she could feel the excitement of stealing in a town again that still had hope and optimism that the town will triumph. Angel resumed walking once more, not quite paying attention to much else.

True followed her quietly observing as he looked at her in the same room. He watched her as he was thinking what to do. "Ok...were inside a building...meaning she can't cast any shadows...so this will be perfect" he thought inside his head.

He grabbed one of his small balls as it was one of the Glue Bomb's as he sighed slightly. Then he began to throw it by her feet. The bomb was set to explode out globs of strong glue after 5 seconds of hitting the ground or any hard surface.

True couldn't figure her out as he saw most of these paintings as it would be a gold mine for most villains. He was thinking she was probably after the Onyx necklace because it was more expensive then any of the other stuff in the museum.

(so sorry! I thought I had commented. )

Angie glanced down when she heard something hit the ground and roll to her. The villain hardly flinched as she looked down, she didn't hesitate to conjure a golf-club-shaped shadow, solidify, and then wack the ball as hard as possible into the air away from her. She's had smoke cans and tear gas thrown at her before, this was nothing new. She watched the thing explode, realizing it took roughly five or six seconds for it to explode, which meant the others should take that long as well if he wasn't programming them himself at that moment. She stepped to the side when it exploded, a glob hitting her arm.

The shadow disappeared and she picked up her arm, frowning when she felt the glue. She conjured some shadows, wrapping it around the glue before pulling it away until most of it was off of her arm in which she then stepped through that hall and threw it at him. Of course, the shadows disappeared so what hit him was his glue.

"I warned you." she commented, her eyes going black as the shadows appeared at her fingertips, creating a cage around him that slowly enclosed in until he didn't have much space. The villainess didn't waste time, not giving him a chance to deflect the glue before her shadows materialized and she shot a shadow ball into his stomach and side. She stopped, eyes going back to normal as she headed for the door. So long as she kept in mind what the cage looked like, it would stay like that until she ran out of energy or lost focus. Rarely did that happen "Kids like you need to be put in timeout" she stated, looking back to the glue and although she had her back turned to him, the cage never wavered in strength.
