WINGED FOLK SPECIES
FAIRIES (Aka Sprites)
The Fairies are more or less your typical Winged Folk that you'd see in children's books. Well, exclude the fact that they aren't so bright, colourful, and tend to every Big Folk's need.
Like all of the Winged Folk, Fairies stand about a foot tall, and have human skin hair and eye colour range. Their wings look like that of flying insects, most commonly butterflies.
Unlike the rest of the Winged Folk, Sprites can preform magic. Although it is weird, however, that the Giant Winged Folk would bestow magic upon an somewhat feral race.
The Sprites tend to live alone, not bothering to interact with others of other Winged Folk races, or even their own. The only times that they will interact is when Breeding Season comes, or when they accidently stumble across another Sprite.
Sprite parents look after their children until they turn 16. By then, their parents have taught them how to survive on their own. The new Adult Sprite will then leave their home, and live on their own.
Sprites tend to have names of the Big Folk.
FAERIES (Aka Fae, or Pixies)
The Fae are the most Big Folk in a sense, as they like together in small cities ruled by a King and Queen. In a large forest, around 16 or so Fae cities can be found.
The Fae stand around a foot tall, and can have hair and eyes of any colour on the colour spectrum. Their skin, however, stays within human range. Their wings can look like that of a flying insects, or can be feathered , like that of a bird's.
It is Impossible for Fae to preform magic.
They also tend to keep around small animals such as ants or bees as companions.
Pixies tend to be named after nature, such as Tulip, Birch, and Squirrel.
SPARROWPEOPLE
When a Sprite and a Pixie mate, a Sparrowperson can be the outcome.
Sparrowpeople tend to have naturally tan skin, dark brown or black hair, and brown eyes. Their wings are always feathered, hence the name Sparrowpeople.
Sparrowpeople sometimes live with Pixies, and some live by themselves, like Sprites.
Sparrowpeople have a 50/50 chance of being able to preform magic.
They tend to either be named after nature, or have names like the Big Folk do.
ANIMAL-FOLK
The most feral of all of the Winged Folk, the Animal-Folk are nomadic half animal-half Winged Folk creature.
The Animal Folk mostly look like that of a Winged Folk, excluding their more animalistic features. It varies from each Animal-Person on what animal parts are shown. Some might display small features, such as the ears or eyes of an animal, while some might have a tail, or even legs of an animal.
There is an aquatic version of the Animal-Folk, the Aquians. Instead of land animals, they have parts of aquatic ones.
Animal-Folk are mostly nomadic.
Animal-Folk don't tend to use names. When they do, they name themselves depending on what part animal they are.
Some Animal-Folk have wings, while others don't.
AQUIANS
The Aquians are half aquatic animal, half Winged Folk-- but without the wings.
Aquians don't have legs. Instead, they have a tail of an aquatic animal, most commonly that of a fish.
Their skin, hair, and eye colour range include the normal Big Folk range, as well as shades of blue, green, purple, aqua, and rarely, white.
Aquians tend to live in small cities, like the Pixies, and are ruled by a Duke/Duchess.
Aquians tend to have more Fantasy-Based names. If you find a fantasy name generator, I suggest you use that.
