The three playable factions are the Fireflies, Military and Scavengers. Below is just a short summary of the factions and they may not be following according to TLOS


Fireflies are a militia group that fights the military while trying to find a cure. In this RP, they are slightly smaller but are quite powerful in terms of firepower.


The Military is what's left of the US Army but are still strong. They adapted oppresive measures to contain the infection such as bombing populated cities and detaining survivors but still failed to do so. They are disliked by many.


The Scavengers are generally people who try to survive through scavenging for items and weapons they can trade. They are neutral in most cases but can be hired guns for anyone.

Bio: Ryan didnt grow up in a military family, he grew up with a family of cops and paintball players, at 18 he signed up for the Marine corp, at 20, the Navy SEALs. When the virus started he was sent out alone to find other survivors, supplies and take out this Firefly resistance.

Bio:


Everyone except him in his family were infected by the virus. Kiyoko ran away not knowing what to do and soon became a scavenger struggling to stay alive.

  Personality| Gavin is a man defined as many things, some more prominent than others. For most of his prebuscent childhood and adulthood, he displayed increasing habits of indoor activities. A quiet speaker, he sounds more shy than he is. Perhaps restrained by future goals, he puts academic standards at a top priority, only to bend that regime with his friends. Through his high school career, he wavered between the spectrum of risk and caution, unable to stomach legal trouble.
  
  This is attributed as a wuss, when instead he didn't want to deal with the consequences. Yet, he surrounds himself by others who dabble on the forbidden side, as though it was his limb to stretch out farther into the recklessness without losing hold on his stable life.
  
  Humor is a big part of his socialization, a dry and dark joker. His jokes, uttered in his quiet tone, are occasionally glossed over, and drive home the feeling of isolation he feared years ago as a youth. He won't isolate one person to insult and jeer at for the others' amusement, for it bothers him emotionally to do so.
  
  Women are another spectrum to him. Although most men are as clueless as he, his ineptitude to seduce and maintain a relationship brings that pity appeal and awkwardness rather placed in a teen rather than a graduate. With more book knowledge than common sense, he's more at home debunking an Einstein-Rosen bridge theorem than riding a bicycle. Horribly unattributed in most common knowledge simple to others, it shows as a span of naivety and covers the more methodical and orderly knowledge underneath.
  
  This was changed after the outbreak. Being out of military servitude meant he waswas penned up in one of the coastal quarantines. This developed a heightened sense of adversity to the military personnel, prompting his rebel traces in the FF militia. Ties to the group led to his expulsion, making him an outcast. Hardening his survival skills was necessary to live in the inhospitable wasteland of bombed cities and unwatched hordes. Grown grizzled, his youth was stemmed by a higher importance, becoming a Firefly activist outside the walls and therefore a contraband mover.
  
  Hobbies| A religiously disciplined boxer,he frequents both the gym and his home setup whenever time permits. When he isn't, a collection of books ranging from encyclopedias to fiction novels awaits. This isn't one of his strong suits, and only serves as a temporary entertainment source. A practitioner of the guitar, he studies note tabs to learn the 'easy' way.
  
  Chess is a fundamental part of his thought process as well as algebraic equations in his free time, a bit of an oddity for him. It is a stress reliever, both the strategic game and the numbers on a whiteboard at home. He doesn't openly discuss his inner workings much, though is open about it with the tightknit group.

  History| A product of Italian and Hispanic backgrounds, Gavin was born and raised in California after his overseas parents migrated to the continent in the pursuit of financial opportunity. This was instead hammered down when Gavin's father took up the mantle and under the hood of vehicles for a wage, working as an assistant mechanic for meager wages. The situation would improve as Gavbin rounded out his pre-double digit youth. His father invested in his own shop in a new place, setting up in a local town. This moved the family into the lower middle class range, and allowed his mother to become a housewife.
  
  Middle and High school truly fleshed out and honed Gavin's social skills, turning him into the cliché teen who'd only act out under the noses of his parents. When he began to own his first apartment, he realized that his ability to earn and keep a relationship would plod down his mood in the lonely recesses of his room. He filled that gap with his friends, sating the burn of isolation with parties and road trips.
  
  His profit came mostly for working game farms and opportunities that lived and died like the breeze. Accumulating enough wealth to make the trip and back, the stress of making his month's rent was stored under lock and key during the trip.
  
  His college career was halted by the outbreak and subsequent quarantines. His trade in auto mechanics led him to a steady job relating military equipment in his knowledge field. This also made him a prime asset for the Fireflies, who had convinced him to join the underground movement during the early days. One of the members of the original three dozen, his ties were exposed over time and led to his removal. This hardened him into both a killer and a survivor, becoming resourceful and mindful of the dangers the military hid for hysteria reasons. Now outside the forbidden walls, he soon established a role of bringing illegal products into the city to fuel the financing of the Fireflies and their power. Be it food, water, medicine, or even weapons, Gavin brought it in. Now mindful and fearing the military might, he began to become more cautious in his dealings, giving him a paranoid vibe.

Topaz us a bubbly person. She finds a positive in everything. Before the break people would find her slightly annoying because of how happy she always was. She never lets anything get her down. She loves life even the way it is now. Topaz cant seem to keep a smile off her face.

Bio:

Topaz use to have a shitty life. Her mother was a pill addict. She spent all the money on the pills and left the family with change. It hardened Topaz to the core. She was a major, can I say it, bitch. She didn't care what happened to her older brother or her mother.

She left and moved in with her father. Who was just like she is. A bubbly person. He was an artist. A painter. And he made just enough to get them by. As she got older she broke from the funk she was in and her true self came out. She made friends at art school and studied as much as she could. She and her father created a company and created beautiful art for clients.

All hell broke loose a week after her mother died. It didn't phase the young woman. She searched for her father but couldn't find him. She did, however, find a older man who took her under his wing. He likes to be called Al. She cares about this man like he is a father to her.

Bio




Born with an outstanding IQ of 200, James was revered as a child prodigy. He excels in all of his studies and had obtained a Ph.D in Medical Sciences when he was only 23. During his college years, he had also wrote multiple dissertations of mathematical logic and created several thesis for Pure Biology, leading him to win a Nobel Prize a year after he achieved his doctorate. He was given the chance to travel to prestigious universities over the world such as Oxford and Cambridge to give classes and lectures.


Born to a well off and loving parents, his parents had doted on James as he was their only son. His parents supported him in whatever he did and appreciated him. However, James' parents met a tragic end as one night, the two met with a fatal car accident which resulted in immediate death.

Casual - Causal Roleplays are games for people who are interested in improving their roleplaying abilities. Casual Roleplays expect posts that are about a paragraph (1+) long minimally. I never said you were disrespectful, and sime people can consistantly right a paragraph, and as i said, im not gonna rught a paragraph of me,doin things and saying things when its ignored half the time, people dont really comform to these rules of paragraph minimum, im in an rp where so,etimes its post after post of one-liners, and if dont like us not writing enough, please dont tell us,to change and write more to follow a guideline, go join another rp please
