  Marching as the wind blows against their exhausted body, they have but one last mission to do. They marched toward the center of Waskon, holding what the world needs in order to survive against what they called "The Collision", an event that no one was prepared against. Life is almost extinct, and all that’s left is a tiny remnant of everything. All races united, they found the last piece that could save everyone. A lot had lost their lives in order to catch it, but they were successful and found the artifact that could heal Waskon's wounds. They hold it in their hands as it shines bright, bringing a smile at how beautiful it's despite the darkness surrounding them. But don't be too hopeful, their journey is only starting. They will have to face creatures that became enraged, natural events, thieves, and prove themselves worthy against the center's field. You only have but so few months before reaching it, so you better act fast. Raise your weapons, brothers, and sisters! A whole world is rooting for you. Hold on tight to each other, and fight against mother nature in order to prove you're all worthy to survive.

  The Last Army contained different personalities and races from different kingdoms. For most, they’re the bravest one of their clans who proved themselves during the first act of the collision, but some of them are volunteers or souls saved from torn cities. One thing was sure : they will have to remain strong and calm if they don't want to succumb to this nightmare. The first people of The Last Army were a group of survivors from different regions who came through altogether and decided to name their group based on war, but they're not following any rulers. They soon put their feet on a large part of the world and their numbers keep growing, rescuing the last remnants of all races. They're known by the whole world of Waskon, and the last cities standing will help them with everything they can. They have a map to follow, but reaching the center won't be easy for them. It is an unstable zone with many dangers around it, and peoples only know some tales about the center. No one made it out alive, but there were only loners who tried entering it. The Last Army is armed and possesses what it takes to survive. They found about the artifact a few weeks after the start of The Collision inside an ancient book deciphered by a wise person, but the reason about how it starts remained a mystery.
• It all started with an increase in heat and fire spreading across the forest, killing most of the elves shelters. Although most races were at war, they set their tantrum away and started on focusing to rescue those in needs by taking care of them in their villages, cities, and capitals. It wasn’t easy, but the numbers of death were so high that it was impossible to let them suffer from such atrocity. To make things even harder, heavy thunders broke a large part of the west, which make life impossible back there. A few survivors from the west made it back to the civilization, traumatized from all they have lost. And if it wasn't bad enough, the beasts became furious and fled from their home which was far away from civilization and started spreading across the remaining cities. They had to focused on preparing their defenses while saving the wounded from the collision.
  Right now, the weather is shifting dramatically making the heat way more supportable. However, it is speculated that winter is coming way sooner.
• Magic does exist in the world of Waskon, although the sorcerer and wizard are rare. That's because many people believe it's best to associate magic with weapons instead of relying on it only, but some had accomplished it.
  All races are capable to learn it, but it does require a lot of work and sometimes pain to go through. There are limitations to all abilities, and it isn't recommended to use it for too long with strong output.
  Those who hold strong magical abilities may have lost something, with the example of Abimael Lazarus losing both his eyes and a bit of sanity along.
  
• First of all, don't pressure yourself. You don't have to post every day since I know it's impossible for everyone, relax and take your time. If you can post one time a week, that's fine. More is also fine, but that totally depends on you!
  Making your character based entirely on magic is possible. Just don't be the wizard king! Sorcerer and wizard are extremely rare and have huge drawbacks, magic is like a double-edged sword in this RP. And please, no teleportation across the map. It really hurts to see a role-player using it, trust me.
  As for your race, you can be whatever you want as long it doesn't give you broken abilities. However, if it's a really specific one, I would love a tiny description of what is their habitat, appearance and their capacities. (Are they fast or slow, intelligent or not, ...)
  You can have a number of two characters at max. If you want more, please do message me because it's hard to keep track of many characters.
  If by any chances I have 4 people interest, I will launch it around Friday and work further on the lore. Also, if you read it this far, I just want to say thank you. Don't hesitate to express your interest if you want to participate!
  
• I'm a role-player since two years who is still learning, and yeah I'm still not used to BBcode. I've seen some RP working with tabs and I find it easier to navigate. I've been primarily participating in realistic/modern setting before moving on to fantasy. Those are my both favorite genres. I'm currently active in a fantasy RP and planning to host two RP. The two ideas I have are not recent, but I was mostly held back because of school.

Awesome, welcome! I'm planning around 5 members before launching the main thread. Someone posted a CS and three gave return with their interest. I'm working on my second character right now

Sweet, I'll start working on my character right away. How viable is the idea of an enchanter/spellblade?

It's actually nice and fitting! Do you have any idea for his/her race?

I'm thinking of him to be either human or a more magically attuned race. Nimble, able to work with light armor and short swords.

I think going with your second idea would be nice since we have 2 humans, but only do it if you feel comfortable with it

Well, I think I can make either a halfling or a kitsune. I'm leaning more on kitsunes, though.

Also, I read that only one power could be taken, but my idea is to have two "branches" of the same power. Enchanting applies permanent bonuses to armor and equipment, and "spellblade spells" enchant something for a brief period of time, based on elements. He can't shoot fire or control the earth, he can only apply this power on the weapon he's currently using, and can't use more than one element on the same fight.

What do you think? Can it be done, or must I choose one?

I see. It can be done because they're related. If they were something totally different like telekinesis with power erasure, it would have been a big problem. It's something I will clarify and I wasn't sure how to phrase it but you actually gave me the words, thank you for this question
