Everyone is held and connected together by invisible ties. Threads of fate, destined encounters; whatever you call it, there are people we are simply fated to meet. We'll call these connections by a simpler name: heartlines. While people often attach a romantic connotation to the idea, it doesn't always mean your lover. Your most trusted confidante is connected to you in the same way, while your greatest rival is also linked to you with these special strings. Whether we change for the better or for the worse depends on the individual, but it's an accepted fact that these "fated people" leave a lasting impact on us.

Like any string, they're prone to knots and problems. Looping on itself, tangling with another - these are only some of the issues one might encounter. It's all a part of life, with these little bumps paving the way to people you might not have met otherwise. It's fortunate that these threads are unbreakable, or many of us would wind up lonely. So no matter what happens or how long it takes, you know one day you'll find the other person at the end of the string.

These roads don't always take the long way around though. Sometimes it does quite the opposite. Occasionally these complications pull connections closer, uncaring of those that get caught in its frenzy. It becomes difficult to differentiate who's truly connected to your string and who was simply dragged into the mess.

That's exactly what happened to the city of Sapporo, where certain individuals find that their heartlines have become knotted with others'. The original plan was for them to meet slowly over the course of their lives, but someone decided to expedite the process. In a city this large and with everyone coming from a myriad of different personalities and backgrounds, how do you gather all these people together?

Easy - connect them with what they have in common. And in this day and age, who doesn't carry a cellphone?

JENGA

is a cellular service company created two years ago, quickly becoming one of the most used in the nation. With its wide coverage and reasonable rates, much of Japan has switched to using

JENGA

as their primary provider.

This rapid rise to success is thanks in no small part to their app called

BLOCKS

, their messaging system. Those who use

JENGA

can install

BLOCKS

which enables them to message other

JENGA

users free of charge, regardless of internet presence. As one can imagine, this was an instant hit with the youth and quickly spawned additional features such as stickers and a desktop app to accommodate the larger market.

There have been few complaints about the app and the company itself, with most problems being isolated cases. They've proven themselves to be trustworthy to the public. So if there are any issues that they can't immediately resolve, suffice to say... you're on your own pal.

Respect - Do unto others what you want others to do unto you. An overused line yet one we find the need to echo. Respect everyone you encounter and if you find yourself in a disagreement, try to resolve your differences first before letting blow up like neutron bomb. Th only drama we tolerate is in the roleplay. We're all here to have fun, yeah?

Characters - Please use anime images only and make sure they're of great quality. We don''t want Mary Sues and Gary Stus. We see one we kick it. We all have flaws so it makes sense that our characters should as well. Plus, the flaws make the character all the more entertaining! Be creative in your approach!

Applications - Prospective applicants are to post an application first before they are allowed to fill in the CS. Further dettails will be in the Sign-up Thread.

Commitment - We want roleplayers who are down for plotting. But we don't want you to just plot, we want you to post. At least one post a week and basic grammar rules should apply. It should make sense with the character and surroundings. It doesn't have to be too long. Nor does it have to be packed with every inch of detail. But please no one liners and nothing extremely short.

Concerns.

For any questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to address us in the OOC or send us, monopoisoner and Chaos Etna, a message.
