Fantasy The Land of Terra in the World of Earth-Gaia

CoconutLeaves

This meme is already nothing but a memory
Just a reminder, this is a miscast story. So expect silly things. Will create a map sometime, so do make up a city and where it's located, its surroundings, and such. I will take that info and make a map of it.

Also, if I have forgotten to add something or have missed something important do remind me. This is my first time as a GM for an rp, so yeah, please help me out.

@Fabalize that would be in the realm of gravity and metal magic. I think it's fine, but remember that the shards you have are still weak. So make sure the type of weapons aren't powerful.

@Primal Conundrum I adore Vylchyn! He seems like a great character!

@GrottyStatute74 I like him! However, the shard grants magic to the user, so he really does need an ability. My suggestion, you can use charm magic to make him a better 'seducer' in terms of persuasion. You could also just give him 'life' magic in the form of buffing skills (Increased strength, increased endurance) etc.

I'm still waiting for a bit more, so I won't progress the story for a day or two. But feel free to write your intro!

Hmm... Alright then, I agree, though I do have a different idea of what to add him. A spell (it would fall under charm I guess.) that would give him an ability to influence someone else's mind/decisions. It would be very VERY hard to control, but influencing someone else's decision through magic is pretty powerful... Of course, it would be pretty weak at the start.

Sweet thank you so much

Why thank you! I was originally gonna give him illusion magic, but that seemed like such a boringly predictable thing: rogue-like character gets tools to help him avoid being seen! No, much more fun to give him powers that he's not naturally inclined towards.

I trust you then.

I'm going to wait a day more to see if some others make their CS. If not then Ill continue on.

What a curious role play that's been set up here, and I have just the idea to plop in. . . depending if I can get away with a golem body controlled by a very small entity that is the character I have in mind.

Starting to feel like a lot of people signing up aren't realizing that the magical abilities come from the crystals, and thus all are characters should have them listed.

Also I don't think malls exist in settings like this, you're more likely to see a big bazaar or open-air market.

I can get the idea of the element they're using so I can accept it. Though some should edit and specify their element.

In regards to magic, my take on it is like that of a JRPG. Magic exists, but only to those who have it in the beginning. What the shards can do is grant it to those who never had it to begin with.

And yeah, already informed the person about the malls xD .

Are we gonna get to see Adrian discovering his shard? I'm actually really interested in him as a character, since he has, full stop, THE most non-adventury background of anyone in the group.

I'm really looking forward to our characters starting to interact, I feel like we've got an interesting mashup of personalities and backgrounds :D

@Primal Conundrum Well, I guess I can have him recount the story. But Adrian is more of the character who knows the world and has a map of it due to his travels.

And the post is up everyone. You guys can post more than once if you want to converse with the others.

[QUOTE="Primal Conundrum]In my head, Vylchyn is starting to sound more and more like Bill Cypher when he talks.

I'd relate to that more if I actually watched Gravity Falls xD

@Elephantom I don't really have any reluctance to accept this character, I'd like to remind you that the story is going to be silly in terms of plot but the way it will be written will be serious. If you're not into this, then turn back now xD

But if you are, then welcome aboard. I'm making a map so do tell me where he comes from and such. Most of the Kingdoms and the Empire is ruled by a human lord. Also, do reply to the intro and second post.

Yeah, I embrace comedy.

I don't have any set area he comes from.

So let's just say he comes from a rich human kingdom. Super rich human kingdom.

Ah, well off to the inner sanctum he goes. Also the main temple is actually bigger than the others.

The main temple may be little, but to him, it'd quite small. He refers to it as a 'magnificently small' by which, he kinda comically mocked it. Notice that he mocked the goddesses way many times?
