The Lake House

Plot

College.

What an amazing place to be. It was exactly like they had expected, only better. But now that time of their life is coming to an end. Soon they are to be moving up and out into the real world to pursue a career, build a family; no matter the case, they're going to miss college. So, as a toast to their new upcoming lives, a group of friends have chosen to spend their final spring break of college at The Rich One's family lake house. Originally the group had planned on going to Florida with the majority of their peers but things came up and this became their plan b. They drove a hundred miles or so to get there and once they finally arrived, there's no telling what will happen. The lake house itself looks like something straight out of a movie and their plan b almost instantly became better than Florida... Well, for most of them, anyways. Romance, drama, and many other fascinating adventures await this group of college seniors. Hopefully, nothing too distressing goes down. After all, there aren't many people around to notice.

Rules & Regulations

  • Please, pretty please, try to crank out at least three solid paragraphs made up of several sentences and having little to no flaws per post. I honestly would love more and that is welcomed; this is just a minimum requirement.
  • If you are planning on dropping, simply pm me and let me know. I won't hold it against you, I promise. I understand things come up and you just have to do what is necessary,
  • If at any point you find yourself unable to respond for a certain amount of time, you can simply tell us and either myself or someone else can temporarily play your role. However, if you disappear for a long period of time without warning, I'm going to have to open your spot to more active members to keep the role play going. Of course, I will send a warning message or two before doing so.
  • If you've read the rules up until this point, kudos to you, my friend. Now, since you have read this far and I won't know unless you tell me you have, simply comment on this tab (the overview) stating your own username so I will know who read this and who simply applied.
  • Have fun and include lots of drama. Nobody is necessarily going to die here, though, mild injuries on a hiking trip could be interesting. Basically, keep things realistic but also try to keep things interesting. Plot discussions of all kinds are encouraged for the OOC. Any 'ships', theories, and ideas are welcomed in the OOC as well.
  • Keep OOC chat in the OOC, please. I think the role play tab looks so much prettier without the clutter of random conversations that aren't in character.
  • Basically, that's all I have to say.. Aside from the rules for fading to black, minimum cussing, bunnying, and all that other jazz I think everyone already knows about. So, uh, see you around, then?
