Humans did this to us. We were just kids. Kids with the misfortune of being the scientists' sons and daughters. We still are kids, even the ones that have lived more years in this hell than others. I should know, I'm one of those older ones. I'm still a kid, deep inside, a kid hoping to return back to actually being a kid and getting on with life. But that can't happen. It just can't. I know for sure. They told me so.
We have mutations added on to our humanism. Can we really call ourselves humans anymore though? We can't, because of them.
You know, I never actually thought I would end up hating my dad. Well, guess what? I do. I hate him so much. I know you must hate your parents too. We all do, most of us, yet all we can actually do in this world is hope that the next 'experimental procedure' doesn't take up too much time. An hour shorter, we pray, just an hour.
Anyway, I'm not scribbling this out to tell you how bad the lab is since you must know. Bet you never thought I would have a point. Well, I do! I promise! I'm writing this out to tell all of the children, all of them, that they are going to get free. We will, you've just got to believe. I know most of you have stopped believing by now, but guess what? Start that part of yourselves up again because we're going to do it.
We're getting out of this hellhole.

THE PLOT:
Scientists wanted to push the boundries of mutations. They were determined to create succesful mutated humans and didn't care about anything else. That's why they experimented on their own children in order to accomplish their goals. Tedious hours upon hours were spent on experimentation that went well beyond the amount of pain normal humans would usually experience during the course of their lives. This was all done about 10 years ago and continues even today. Some of the subjects are ancient, others are so very painfully recent. The very first experiments came out grotesque and disgusting, but the scientists soon learned from these mistakes.
After these scientists had some very succeful tests, the government soon heard about it and wanted the scientists to create super soldiers to aid the army in a war that had been raging on for a while. Some experiments were sent out, though most didn't last long. That was when the scientists then began enhancing the subjects' senses and reactions.
It was hell, as the boy Zero stated from his note. The tests were so excurciating that some experiments even died on the operating table. There have been some to escape this lab, however, though that has only made security tighten up around the lab. The objective is to escape and stay hidden, perhaps try to live normal lives.
However, the year is 2110. The outside world might just prove to be worse than the inside.
CAN YOU SURVIVE?

Dog Cages- Everyone lives in their own dog cage, save for a few "special" ones that are too big or have too much strength. The cages are tough and sturdy, with enough room to at least move around a little.
The Lab- Way out in the country, it takes quite a long ride to get there. The picture shows the lab, though this is simply a lab where they create new medicine and all that. Underground is where our characters are.

Rules:
1. No overpowered characters or godmodding.
2. You are not allowed to control another person's character in any way.
3. No limit to the amount of characters! However, I recommend you don't get crazy with the number.
4. I require two or more paragraphs in both personality and backstory. Why? See #5.
5. Semi-literate, at least! Two or more paragraphs. Your post doesn't have to be gigantic, it's just so much more fun with detail.
6. No text talk. Correct grammar and punctuation would be grand.
7. All RPNation rules apply!
8. There is no password, but if these rules aren't followed, you're out.
The lab. Dim, with hardly any light getting through the windows. Underground, musty, the air barely breathable. There were operating tables in this room, lots of them. All aligned just right, not that it mattered. The floor and walls, all grey. The cement that surrounded this room is what made the color. Nobody had bothered to paint over it with a pretty yellow or a gentle pink. Not that that mattered either. This room wasn't made to be pretty. The slight shade of red on the wall proved that to be true.
The room that connected to it looked even more grave. The walls could hardly be seen with how dim it was. Barely any windows. Wait, are those blocks on the walls actually windows? Probably, though a layer of dust covers it, so thick that hardly any light shines through. The musty smell here was mixed with the scent of urine and blood. It's even less sanitary here than in the other room. Blood commonly found on the grey floor, the grey walls, the grey everything.
Cages too, in this room. It wasn't crowded, however, there are barely any. The sense of failure hangs over these cages. Mistakes, all of them, that's what the scientists say. They haven't been found out though, so they keep working. New experimentation all the time, a new test to try, new hell to go through. All in the life of an experiment.
One is dragged out of the cages. A little girl. Her mouth is opened to let everybody hear her screams. She is unlucky, for in this underground world there will be no rescue. No one but the scientists and the experiments can hear her. The scientists don't care; the experiments can't do a thing. And so, she is taken to the other room. The one with the operating tables, where no mercy is offered. Not even to a little girl.
