Appearance: Standing an impressive 6'2, Jethro towers over most around him. This can make the man seem intimidating, despite the never-changing unfocused look on his face. He keeps his shaggy brown hair down and brushed if he can, though at times it may appear disheveled. The man is rather balanced, and takes his steps in long strides. Almost always he can be seen with his round-rimmed bronze glasses resting upon his nose, giving a dull sheen to his luminescent blue eyes.


Most of the time he can be seen wearing a lightly colored button-up, sometimes with a tie and sometimes without one. He is usually wearing casual khakis or blue jeans.


Personality: Jethro is definitely what you would call a nerd, obsessing over things like the mechanics of things and how they work. He likes to take things apart to figure out how they work and what they do. Granted that he definitely prefers the word Scholar to Nerd, he doesn't much care for labels, or what people think of him. He's got a bit of a noble soul however, and that is what prompted him to start up The Knights in an attempt to take CUBEX down and give the people a chance to reclaim their countries.


He thinks that fighting for what you believe in is a top-ranking priority. Honestly he's a person that those around him would consider a "goody-two-shoes", the let's not break any rules type of guy, and yet he's leading the organization trying to take down CUBEX. Perhaps he isn't the best to do so, however, considering his anxiety and obsession over making exactly the right decision. He stresses a lot when power is handed to him, and striking out on his own is a new situation for him.

History: As a child Jethro was an outcast, he didn't make friends, or those that he did he didn't interact with very often. He kept to himself, reading books and learning things. In school, he was a top notch student, he didn't skip classes and he made excellent grades. Eventually this led him to getting into the top college, where he studied Engineering Sciences and Computer Technologies.


After graduating, CUBEX snatched him right up, hiring him basically on the spot. He became one of CUBEX's top engineers in designing the drill that penetrated the earth and discovered Mana. Once everything settled out and CUBEX gained the world, they sought out Magicians, and he was a top candidate purely because of his employment at the company. When he was tested he proved to be able to use Mana. He had been excluded from the designing and building of cubes, but he was issued a custom Cube and trained to use his Mana effectively.


He quit soon after finishing his training, moving to Therox to try and study the Cubes.

Strengths/Weaknesses: One of Jethro's key strengths is his ability to break something down, analyze it, and figure it out quickly. It's a bit of a blessing and a curse, because while this is useful for practical actions, it gets him into trouble socially.


A weakness is that he is constantly lost in thought or distracted by something other than what he should be focusing on.


Another strength of his is his masterful use of Mana in performing Magic - whereas the weakness tacked on is his excessive use of Mana, meaning he relies too heavily on his Magic.

Gender: Male


Appearance: Damian stands at the height of 6'0 ft, meaning compared to most he stands kinda tall and towers over most. His face holds a usual rather blank facial expression or some say a cold look, which portrays him as scary and very intimating. The male never really notices his facial expression half the time he thinks he carries a calmer look but apparently not. Due to his height he does weigh 153 lbs., but that is considered to be normal and a healthy weight for him. Some of you may never see it, but he does have a long scar going at an angle along his left ribs. His figure is more of a masculine type of look but he can appear somewhat slim compared to some of the buffer people but don't let looks deceive you.


His hair is naturally straight and for the life of him couldn't change it, he's tried different gels and other hair items to give it some type of curl, wave or something but nothing seems to do the trick. His hair is a medium brown. Not too dark nor too light, it's right in the middle. His eyes carry a golden kind of color which stands out among most others. That's actually what and how a lot of older people or just people in general remember him by. They just stand out and him different which he doesn't mind but he can never fail to fool someone he had met only a couple times if he had really tried.


Personality: Damian can appear as a bit of a heartless asshole. But that's only because he believes the less personality you have and the less you're attached to others, the less it hurts when they disappoint you or leave. But truth be told to the matter, he does have a soft side. He can be gentle and kind when he so desires but you have to have a special connection or he has to see something in you that he doesn't see in others. Usually he does his best to keep his distance with others, he socializes here and there but never considers many friends just nearly acquaintances because lord knows they'd rat you out to the boss in a second if you did something different or odd in their eyes. He does do his best to keep an open mind and not to judge others right away but sometimes he doesn't always work that way. He's usually quick to let you know his thoughts about you and to lay down the flat truth that no one else will tell you. People often to come to him for advice because he doesn't ever beat around the bush, he just puts it flat out there without any second thoughts or questions. He's always believed that you don't ask questions you don't want the actual answer too.


Lying has never been his strong suit, unless it's about his feelings. If something happens to bother him in any type of way which happens more than you'd think he doesn't tell anyone. He deals with himself and puts up a wall to pretend like he's completely alright. From time to time he regrets being so distant with people because it can be pretty hard to handle everything that's emotional by yourself but he never caves in and ask someone for advice or help. He just figures it out himself and carries on his way. He's not usually harsh to people right away and shutting them down quickly, normally he's somewhat gentle and gives them a chance to make an impression on him. For those he does social more with than others, he cracks jokes with here and there and he does have quite the funny bone in him but it's not many people he gets along. Overall, he's a friendly and gentle person who's distant with most but also doesn't have a problem calling you out on her lies and telling you the flat out truth.

History: Damian wasn't raised by his mother and father but you really wouldn't know that unless you were told. He was actually raised by his Aunt and Uncle because his actual parents didn't want to deal with him, as to why his Aunt and Uncle wanted him he didn't know. But he wasn't really going to complain because of them he ended up in a good home and he was treated as well raised very well. He was taught manners and how to treat people like they should be. Of course not all of that he uses today because not everyone deserves his manners and kindness. When he's around the people who raised him, he's like a different person. He's kind, laughing, smiling, he's doing all the things he usually doesn't do around others. Why? Because he's truly happy around them.


Of course he wasn't always so happy and cheerful around them. It took him awhile to accept the fact that he wasn't wanted by his real parents. Actually during his early teen years he went through a depression state and constantly blamed himself for them leaving him. Even though there was no possible way for him to have done something wrong to make him not wanted by them he still thought it was his fault, that there was something he had done. But it just the simple fact that they weren't man enough nor ready to deal with the responsibly of a child. But he is very thankful for his Aunt and Uncle, they gave him a good life and he wouldn't trade it for anything.


But what recently has confused him is that his mother, yes his mother has decided she thinks it's okay to barge back into his life and try to fix what she did twenty five years later. He's not very sure on how to feel about it or what to do but for now he's keeping an open mind about it and just seeing where it goes. But of course he's not just an open book to her, he tells her the small details such as how his day went, what he does, his age, etc. but nothing serious like how he went through the depression.


He was hired into CUBEX has just a security guard but once they found out about his ability to use mana, they trained him in magic and quickly promoted to the Commander of the CUBEX Police Force. Him and Jethro have crossed paths in past before but it's never been anything too serious.

Appearance: Emily is rather average when it comes to height, standing a respectable 5'6, and her build is a bit average as well, though well-toned. While she doesn't have the most muscle, she doesn't lack speed. Her hair is almost always seen down, with her bangs hovering just above her eyes, though on occasion she'll put it up in a ponytail.


Her eyes are a nice and subtle forest green, almost glowing. When she isn't in her uniform she can usually be seen wearing a casual t-shirt or blouse. She'll either wear darkly colored leggings or blue skinny jeans, and sometimes she can be seen with a leather cord necklace.


Personality: A rather bubbly girl at heart, Emily is especially social and energetic. She is always trying to make friends, even with people that appear to be assholes, or impossible people. She's what somebody might call a people-pleaser, always doing stuff for others and trying to make them happy, even at the cost of her own mood. She will always try to solve a problem with her words first, as opposed to drawing a blade or using her fists. She's quick to trust people, but if you break her trust there is little chance you will ever gain it back.


She's clever, and she knows some practical skills, but if you ever ask her to solve a math problem or science problem she's forever at a loss. She isn't very scholarly, but instead has her street smarts to rely on.

History: Growing up, Emily had three siblings, two sisters and a brother. She was the youngest of the brood. Going through school, she never had the greatest grades, but she made a lot of friends and socialized quite often. She looked up to her brother, Jethro, and his ability in schools. Often times she would seek him out for help in tutoring, and he'd do his best to help her but she never quite got it.


At the crest of her 17th birthday, CUBEX began drilling into the earth. At the time she didn't make much out of it, it didn't really matter to her, however it became a big deal to her once CUBEX sought her out to test her for Mana control. She was confused about this at first, until she was informed that her brother was tested and proven to be able to use it.


She was tested, and she was able to use it. From then on, she became an employee at CUBEX, where they paid her well and gave her amazing benefits. She didn't start to train with her magic until this year, however, and is still rather new to it, though she's reached the Novice level, and can summon two weapons if she wishes.

Name: Serenity Carson


Age: Twenty


Gender: Female


Appearance: As you may notice, Serenity's eyes are bit.. well not a bit but wider than the average person. It basically makes her eyes kinda pop, ya know? She stands out a bit more with the wideness of her eyes. Color eyes they're a normal pale greenish type of a color, nothing odd or remembrance worthy. Her hair is medium length, maybe just a couple inches past her shoulders. It's a natural dark brown color and it's naturally wavy. She honestly hates her hair, it's always so thick and usually in her opinion, a mess. With her hair being so thick, it takes almost everything and anything to keep it down during the heat. If she just straightens it or something different, it always frizzes up and she has to put it in a pony tail.


Serenity is a petite female. Her body figure is small and slim, she's not very strong in so many words. She stands at the short height of 5'3" and barely holds the weight of 115 lbs., but for her height that's healthy so don't start going off and saying she needs to shove food down her throat because she does. She eats like the average person and just has a hard time gaining the weight. Her skin is kinda pale but she does tan rather easy, although she does lose it over the winter and has to get it back but it's never all that hard.


Personality: The girl can be a bit of a confusing person. She's the definition of a social butterfly, but is a closed book when it comes to talking about herself. She's a very friendly girl, she loves to talk and get to know as many people as possible and for that exact reason she has quite the number of friends but that doesn't mean she tells them much about herself. When it comes to her personal life, she shuts down and just causally changes the subject. It's never been fond about talking about herself, she assumes she would naturally annoy and bore someone so she just keeps quiet about it.


Her communication skills are great. She's very trusting and others seem to find it very easy to tell her things. They trust her, some more than others but having someone's trust in just fine with her. Although she does talk a lot, she is a very observant person. She watches a lot of body movements and how someone's facial expressions change during conversation or just in general. Being so observant she can tell when someone is bothered by the slightest things, at least 50% of the time anyways. But if someone was to dare ask what was wrong with her or if she liked someone, she'd just shrug it off and avoid the question as much as possible. Of course like everyone else there is only so much she can handle before she breaks down, but she does like to keep the act up that she's tough and doesn't like too much bother her but in reality a lot more bothers her.


She is a very clever and creative female, she's quick on her feet and a quick thinker. But when it comes to fighting, she's not the type to solve it with words. Sure she'll try to push it off at first and stop it with her words if she can, but if she can't then she will become physical and violent. And even though she is a small girl, she's got quite the power in her. Her emotions can sometimes get the best of her, she tends to care way too much about certain things and would make a decision about something mostly on her feelings more than the logical thing if it came down to something to do with her friends or family. Her feelings can sometimes also cause her to think irrationally, some of the time if it can to someone doing something very dangerous she'd rather herself go and do it keep others from getting hurt. She doesn't want let anyone get hurt if she can stop it from happening. She's a very caring person and loves to make sure everyone is doing well and to know that she hasn't upset someone in some way.

History: As a child, Serenity grew up normal. She had a happy life and had many great moments but was different for her was she had two moms but she grew up the a normal person. They loved her, taught her from right and wrong, made sure she had what she needed. Of course as a child, she didn't see what was wrong with it or how there could possibly be any problems. She loved her moms and thought it was completely okay. But as she grew up, she quickly learned that her moms weren't always accepted. People sometimes treated them differently and she didn't understand till later why. Hitting middle school was a rough ride, people knew about her two moms, most accepted her but there were always those few who had some type of comment to make. But she never let that change her mind about how she felt about her moms. She loved them and they loved her, she was happy with it and many people were okay. Why change for those few people?


When the drilling began she was in high school at the age of fifteen, at first she didn't see what the deal was. She thought it was fine but then she realized what it was doing to the air and to the people. There once was a earthquake that startled her and her family, they weren't really sure what had caused it but once she had found it she started to highly disapprove of the drilling.

Appearance: Standing just under six feet Eric is considered rather tall, especially within his family which all have to look up at him. Not wanting to be seen as disrespectful - either inadvertently or otherwise - he has developed what can only be defined as a permanent slouch. this along with his frail build and his deathly white skin gives him the appearance of someone who is chronically ill. wanting to combat this he takes care to dress in clothing that conveys confidence and power. he also keeps his hair in a ponytail, which he grew out and keeps well maintained to try and convey some sense of health. his face, while considered almost flawless remains impassive most of the time - having been both trained to because of, and inspired by, childhood tragedy. The only things one might consider imperfections would be the prominent nasolabial lines that give him a permanently serious and slightly depressed look.


Personality: at first glance, it is clear that he is not an emotive person, especially not on the outside - yet he remains well aware of human emotions and how to moderate his own behavior to not offend anyone in his general vicinity's emotive state. that being said, while capable of portraying and understanding emotion - it is not so much a proof of having it. When his younger sister by fourteen years died a few days after her birth - taking their mother with her, the young eric was lost both emotionally and spiritually. as his father closed in and pushed everyone away, He had to deal with it alone - and quietly at that - in order not the incur the wrath of his sire. long evenings laying on his back, staring at the ceiling and tears leaking down his impassive face left him quite unable to regulate his emotions. He thus trained himself to just not show them at all. In order to sharpen and maintain his focus as well as turn it away from negative thoughts, he channeled all of his energies into his academics. This made him even more of a recluse as he found the quiet of the libraries a nice retreat from other people, where he did not have to tire himself out constantly having to consider them and their needs. He recently left University and now spends his time at his family home where he and his father ignore one another, the elder working at a company that Eric is blissfully unaware as well as apathetic about, and Erik himself meandering about the home - either in his room thinking or in his study reading.


Orientation: Sapiosexual - the only sort of attraction and stimulus he has ever felt was towards a few of his academic peers, finding debate to be infinitely more thrilling than any of the porn he dutifully experimented with when he was younger. that being said, he understands that a relationship, at least from any potential partner's perspective would require both a social and physical enthused interest which, while he is sure he would be able to mimic when needed, would be inauthentic and unfair to the other - and thus defeat the entire purpose of the relationship. He has reasoned that friendship at best with these individuals would be sufficient.

sometimes his eyes leak without him noticing - creating the illusion that he is either under stress of in distress, while he might not feel anything at all - some people see this as a subconscious show of weakness. he also might not be able to read the social situation correctly, and then act out an inappropriate false emotion to try and blend in. His quietness is sometimes mistaken for stupidity, while it is actually just disinterest or quiet agreement. he is very intelligent and has a great memory which he augments with memory tools. he is also very observant and can easily spot when people are outright lying to him or are being disingenuous. he sometimes gets lost in his mind, turning his focus onto his memories, which distracts him from the real world and leaves him defenseless.

She has waist length wavy brown hair which she usually puts in a ponytail to keep it out of the way. Her eyes are a beautiful hazel, flecked with green. Her eyelashes are very long, and they often get into her eyes, causing them to water until she can get them out. She is only 4 foot 10,so she is a lot shorter than most other people, but considering how clumsy she is, maybe it is a good thing as she has less far to fall. She is quite slender, but usually dresses in more loose fitting clothes as she has lower self confidence than most girls.


Personality:


She is very quiet and sweet. She never had too many friends, as she is very shy, but she loves animals. She spends a lot of time sitting outdoors and loves the colour green and the life it represents. She has always felt more at home with nature and animals than in modern society with lots of people around her.


She often finds it hard to open up to people due to her shy nature, but if you gain her friendship she will be so loyal. In ordinary life it is not clear, but she is quite brave and will stand up for what she believes in.

History:


Jana grew up in a higher middle class household, with a very comfortable life. Her father was a scientist and her mother was a lawyer, but due to these jobs, there were not home very often. Jana became very capable at making food and things like that, as well as more independent. In school presentations, she was more nervous than other children as she couldn't practise with her parents there for support. This developed, and grew into a dislike of the spotlight, as she became more and more shy. When she had to move at the age of 13 for her fathers work, she found it very difficult to speak to people and make friends.


So, she turned to nature and animals. Her parents had let her have a mouse pet as a child, but one day it disappeared. Her father had said it had gone on holiday. Holiday to his lab most probably. After school, she would always sit outside in the woods bordering her house, rain or shine, and watch squirrels climb overhead and birds fly.


Then, the drilling started, when she was 10. Until she was about 13 and a half, she didn't know much about it. Her father was loosely tied to it, and was especially curious. Her father had her tested to see if she had any magical aptitude, but she never got a chance to actually try using magic until now. Her concerns were for the nature and habitats they were destroying. She always wanted to try and make it stop, and for a while her dreams were haunted by the buzzing noises of a drill slowly destroying her home...
