RP sequel ideas

I am planning two ideas for an older RP of mine. The RP in particular is ParaCom: Adversary Uncertain. That RP involved paranormal/supernatural entities invading our realm. Humanity had to fight back and reverse engineer their weapons, technology, and even power.


One of my ideas for the encore/sequel would be ParaCom: Horror Under The Sea. HUTS for short. This will mean I'm going to go fully Lovecraftian. It'll also be underwater and even harder than last time. New technology, new equipment, and new scenarios will be present. It'll also take place between 2029 to 2039 time zone. Several years after the end of the First Paranormal War. I'll guarantee that for previous players, it'll be like Adversary Uncertain, but not a re-skin. Humanity opened up a power vacuum. The new paranormals intend to kick us when we're down.


Another idea is a scenario where the bad guys win and players act as the resistance. The big idea is that it's between 5-15 years later from the 2020s and ParaCom now acts as a underground guerrilla faction. This time, ParaCom will muscle their way in to saving Earth. The paranormals already muscled in. It'll be time to muscle them out.

Ideally 18-40 years old, with the former being fresh recruits while the latter as seasoned veterans and officers.

Different jobs would be likely, but it is more roles than jobs in the "Bad guys winning" scenario.

To say that I'm so for this would be, at best, an understatement. I do like the whole guerrilla faction option a bit more than the 2nd Paranormal War idea, but that's because I like the idea of fighting as an underdog. However, I would be down for either scenario.
