Dazed, confused, but chugging on.
Welcome! In this RP, your characters are lost in a mystical garden while trying to rescue their loved ones, who were turned to jade statues by a kirin named Mismakora. You will need to work together to evade Mismakora, find a way to free everyone, and find a way out of the mountains and get back home.
I will make the CS when I have at least two people interested.
There exists a special pond, which glimmers like an opal, and is kept fresh and cold by the perpetual blizzard within the mountain range that houses it. The mountains were regarded as one of the most hostile, winding environments you could travel to. With how easy it was to get lost within them, it was understandable to believe that the pond being magical was just a rumor conjured by the crazed minds of people who had stayed a bit too long at death's door.
The magic, however, was very much real. The water could heal any injury, from a paper cut to chemical induced blindness. Some explorers even hoped to hurt themselves on their way to find it, just for a better chance at seeing if the legend was true.
Eventually, they would succumb to the maddening blizzard, and duck inside the strangest cave. For that brief moment, their world would be hopelessly gray. Then, a rainbow glow in the corner of their weary eye would bring back all the color, and the explorer would jump for joy. The pond had been found! Even if they could keep themselves from going crazy, the restraints would burst once they dipped their wounds in the water, and they would be sealed instantly!
And then their world would flash green, then go completely black. Their excited hollers would cease. They would no longer feel the cold, hunger, thirst, or exhaustion. That was because they were turned to jade.
The one to petrify them was the guardian, a kirin named Mismakora. She was a stunning creature, with a lovely, pale blue coat that blended in with the soft morning skies. Her horns, the scales adorning her shoulders and hips, and even the scales around her eyes and eyelids, were composed of clean jade. Sadly, she also had the heart to match. Mismakora had a deep distrust for any creatures who weren't herself, especially those who dipped their hands in her water. She watched her pond at all times, wordlessly petrifying anyone in jade.
Partially out of her distrust, and partially out of the feeling that they didn't deserve to be sent home, Mismakora would take her new statue further back, and down the hidden tunnels. At the end of the tunnels was her own personal garden.
She had made it perfectly habitable for herself. She carved rivers, found plants that could grow in the cold, and even made her own sun by sticking glowing crystals together with honey. The petrified explorer would be placed wherever she felt, left to collect flowers.
Even a creature as quick and alert as her, however, couldn't keep everyone out. People, sometimes out of curiosity, and sometimes out of a need to rescue the petrified, would follow her down to the garden. Then, they would be faced with a tough choice: allow Mismakora to catch them and add them to her collection, or become lost in the winding garden.

-You don't need to write uber long posts, but I do ask for at least three sentences for others to work with.
-Major plot points should be run by the group before they are enacted.
-On that note, please do not powerplay.
-Have as many characters as you can handle.
-That's all off the top of my head. Other than that, standard RPNation rules apply.
