Daniel smiled "Did you hear Mai and Prince Charles are engaged," The Queen searched the room for Mai "MAI .." She shouted then realized this was a party "Sweetie.. Please come over her." Daniel reached for a cup of wine and handed to his mother he mouthed the words "I'm sorry," to his sister." The queen looked at Daniel there is another woman I want you to meet named "Elicia!" The queen called out for Elicia "I forgot to mention you will be marrying one of these young ladies as soon as possible our kingdom needs an heir." Daniel sighed "Mother I will marry for love and nothing less..." The queen looked at Daniel like he committed treason "Love isn't a luxury that us royals have we marry for political reasons and if we are lucky enough to love our partner then that's a plus."

Mai was in her dreamland, thinking about her future with Charles. She got startled when a certain voice calls out to her and turns to see her mother and brother. 'Oh mother is calling me..' she thought when she sees her brother mouthing something. Confused why he was apologizing to her. 'What did dear brother do now?' she thought and walks over to where her mother is. "You called mother?" she asked, somehow now she is on guard and in her best behavior. It seemed natural for her to be like this and didn't want to disappoint her mother.

Once Jacob heard the his non biological mother yell for Elica. He had always thought the woman couldn't say something in anything other then a condescending tone or a yell. Jacob gave a strained smile and muttered to the princess, "Go get 'me tiger. And just so you know, both of them are incredibly hard to please but Daniel likes long haired women so you'll be fine. Just be unique and it'll be a piece of cake to win his heart."

Jacob walked over to his "Family" and said with out the slightest hint of malice or annoyance,
"May I introduce you to princess Elica of Gotriel."

As Jacob introduces her, Eicia curtsies and smiles at the both of them. "Thank you Prince Jacob it was a pleasure to meet you," She hoped she was dressed well enough for the king to take notice of her. Subtlety was never her strong suit. Normally she would be a bit more brash and would normally grab the other person by the collar and demand they agree with her, but her father commanded her to try and keep her temper at bay for now so the king doesn't kick her out immediately.

The queen frowned at Mai "Marrying Prince Charles? " Daniel turned to Elica and bowed "Pleasure to meet you." The Queen continued to nag Mai about Prince Charles, Daniel decided to start a casual conversation "Brother how is your day going and you met a beautiful young lady." Daniel smiled "Next in line to get married huh?" He said laughing. Then thought about what his mom said he would pick between the dancing princess and ... He just couldn't remember her name. He looked at Elica "Whats your name again?"

Avlina's smile almost faded as she listened to the Queens words, but she managed to keep it in place. Daniel doesn't have a choice in this either, our parents are the same.. She thought as she watched the family talk, Daniel's siblings and another princess coming into the conversation. If he has another option maybe I can get out of this.. I don't want to marry someone I don't love. She curtsied as the other princess was introduced, "It's a pleasure to meet you princess Elicia." She smiled graciously, hope shining in her eyes. "I hope we can be friends despite the circumstances."

Elicia gave a polite smile to the other princess and turned her attention back to the king. "You highness I am Princess Elicia of Gotriel. My father and your mother, possibly you as well had set up an agreement for us to meet."

Mioko let herself be pulled by the girl with little no resistance, it wasn't a wonder the poor handmaid who'd taken her in constantly worried about the girls whereabouts in the castle, even with them living in it.

"Secret question?~" Mioko smiled widely and nodded excitedly but went a little quieter as she instrutcted no one else could hear, approaching the entrance and asked if she knew a hiding spot she thought for a moment, "Uh~..... I know a few, the closet one is down the hallway and behind the cupboard!" She said, now her turn once more to drag the other along and into the empty room, squeezing past the inital back of the wooden ordament there was a little indent and room to move within, almost like a hidden passageway to narnia, she continued to grin eagerly awaiting the princess' next words.​

Taruka continued to look at her stomach as though blaming it for the troubles of the world before letting out a small sigh, she loved the child even if she didn't know it yet, it wasn't there fault she was in this situation, "It was that damn Jacob!?" She hissed out, fist clenching in front of her tightly and fiery temper perking through a little before hearing the words of the man beside her, d-did he just say her name? Glancing curiously towards her size she blinked a few times at the admittedly- attractive man, but those looks didn't deceive her, she knew that slightly smug expression anywhere, "E-Ezekiel?...." She mumbled in a curiou tone, standing up a little in shook, eyes somewhat wide and now a light blush covering her face as her hands innocently attempted to cover her stomach as though they had any ability to actually hide the thing, "Y-Yeah, years now I guess- you look..... healthy?" She suggested with a sheepish shrug, she never was good at interacting with others when startled, nor exactly the best at compliments though they tended to be amusing to hear, "W-What brings you b-back here?...." she stuttered out in a curious tone, her temper from before all but disappeared in the moment.​

Daniel looked at his mom "I'm currently not in the mood." Daniel bowed "Until tomorrow." He said with a charming smile as he headed towards the stables

Mai flinched when her mother frowned at her. Her skin turned pale when her mother immediately asks her about marrying Prince Charles. "Y-yes mother. And it seems like my brother and Prince Charles talked about it, is what I was told." she said clueless to why the Queen is furious to know about her engagement with Charles. She only knew he was popular with women and that was it. Nothing more. She looks at her brother who was now busy, chatting with a beautiful woman. 'D-did I do something wrong?' she thought. "It's too make an alliance with Prince Charles' kingdom, am I mistaken, mother?" she asked.

Hearing Jacob's name it was like she was cursing him but then gained composure before he replied "Oh I'm here to congratulate Daniel but I still haven't managed to since he seems... a bit.. busy with other people." he said, and sees her hiding her stomach. He found it cute that she was startled and tried to hide the impossible in front of him. "Well, actually I'm a Knight now at Ivrazia, been doing good back there." he couldn't help but hug the girl in front of him and laughs. "It's been too long, really." he said and ruffles her hair and looks down at her stomach. "I see that you've been busy as well, and actually gained weight. Have you been eating too much these days?" he teased her, like he would always back then. He chuckles and takes a step back before he got hit by Taruka.

Ezekiel just chuckles when he got hit and didn't mind it since he was used to her doing that to him. "Haha just teasing you." and lets her sit down on the bench with him. 'I guess it was too much...' he thought and pats her head gently, like he usually would do when he would comfort Taruka, and sometimes its just a sign that he just genuinely cares for her. "Look, I'm sorry about that joke, it wasn't right." he said looking at her stomach then to Taruka. She was young to be this pregnant, he wondered who the father was. He wanted to ask who the father was but was too afraid to ask her. Instead he gently placed his hand on her stomach and said "Looks like your mother is mad at me, I'm really sorry for making fun of her, she may act like she's okay sometimes but in truth, she's really sensitive. You're mother's a really great woman, kind, pretty and someone you can count on." he felt a a small kick from it and chuckles. "Woah, energetic little one, huh?" he said and grins at Taruka.

Jacob felt incredibly uncomfortable being near his family, he would much rather do anything else than awkwardly stand as his family discussed courting his brother. Though once Charle's womanizing ways were brought up and the queen rudely dismissing him and his sister, Jacob couldn't help but intervene.
"Mother...."
He cringed using that word. But nevertheless he continued.
"I thought you were taught to have manners, I'm pretty sure a queen wouldn't show her distaste towards her daughter and sons out in public."
He already felt like a fool for saying anything but Jacob couldn't stand it when she talked down to his siblings.

Mai asked some of her servants to where they last saw Daniel and some pointed out at the stables.She sighed and looks for her brother only to see him with someone else. She blushed at the sight of him having a woman in his arms. She coughed and excused herself "Ahem! Dear brother, I truly am sorry for interrupting you right now but the queen would like to have a word with you, now." she said, still blushing from the sight and then leads him back to the queen.
