Elicia smiles happily as the guards were bruised and battered before her. They thought would be an easy target but lo and behold she had trained for years with her father. She wipes some sweat from her brow and steps out into the hallway. She glances both directions before spotting the pregnant girl from earlier and another smaller girl.
"Is there anything I can help with?" Elicia smiles at them as she approached.

Clotilde noticed the King's little sister. She was not liked by their mother, she was well aware of that. But the queen now had all power stripped of her, so she figured that there was nothing to worry about there. She knew them all well enough, but she figured she should reintroduce herself as the king's official mistress. She walked up to Aiko.

"It was hard to watch, wasn't it?" Clotilde asked. She had masked her feelings well. She had seen her parents and many servants die when she was younger. It wasn't easy to watch someone die. Still, she could understand how Daniel must have been feeling about Lord James.

Jacob gave a smile and waved to Mai before she finally closed the door. Jacob sighed, of course she wasn't fine. Mai never opened up about when she was kidnapped so it was most likely she went through some tough stuff. And to add that her mother was borderline abusive and both her brothers were able to form a proper relationship of course she would be as or more messed up than all of them combined. Jacob just wished he could actually help her like Mai has helped him for all those years. But that would have to wait for another. Jacob changed into his night gown and closed his eyes before falling asleep to the sound of the old oak grandfather cloak ticking.

Before elicia could respond to the pregnant girl, she was quickly left alone with the crying girl. Elicia knelt down in front of her and gave her a soft hug just like her mother used to do.

Mioko continued to cry in the woman's arms as she hugged her back, breaths stuttering a little, she really was just a small child compared to most around her, even Aiko who was her age was far ahead in maturity.

"Shhh little one. What seems to be the problem hmm?" She asks unaware of what the king had done to one of the nobility. She easily picks the girl up and holds her in her arms.

Aiko started fake crying. She wailed. She fell to the ground, trying to imagine how shocked a normal twelve year old would be if their older brother went on a rampage and executed someone in front of her. She’d be terrified. Mortified. Filled with despair. And, in the back of her head, she wondered how Clotilde would react.

When it came to people she wasn't particularly close to, Clotilde was not very good at comforting people. She awkwardly put her hand on Aiko's shoulder. "There, there," said Clotilde, not entirely sure of what to say. "It's over now."

That... okay, so Clotilde definitely wasn't good at comforting people. Aiko guessed that emotional talk was the limits of her people-abilities. At least in terms of acquaintances. Aiko continued sobbing for a few more long minutes before she took a deep breath and "forced" herself to stop. She breathed,
still "sobbing" occasionally. She looked back at Clotilde.

"W-Why did he do that?" she asked her.

Daniel had told her why he did that in confidence. She was not going to betray his trust. She had to think of a proper way to explain it.

"He did it because he had to," said Clotilde. It wasn't a great reason but that was all that she could think of on the spot. "He had his reasons. Just know that."

So clearly she must have had secrets. Either she was talking bs and she didn't know or Daniel told her and it was a big secret. The girl wiped her tears.

"Why don't grown-ups tell me anything?" she whined. "If it's important to the kingdom, then I should know!"

But of course she wouldn't, because she was a kid and, more importantly, she was female. Aiko considered how much she should try pushing. Maybe this one would be the last one... Aiko knew that pushing people was awfully rude. She didn't care much about how polite she was, but being polite as a princess mattered.

Aiko considered ranting about how much she was upset at Daniel, but she refrained from doing that.

DAY TWO HAS NOW STARTED I ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY THAT THE DAY WOULD CHANGE TODAY

Daniel rolls out of bed and is bathed and dressed by his servants. After a light breakfast, he goes to the stables and grooms his horses. Then he goes for a ride through the castle's garden this is his way of trying to relieve stress from yesterday the image of him decapitating lord James plays on repeat. He can feel power and darkness trying to consume. This feeling of loneliness creeps up his throat but he swallows it and continues to ride his horse he rides as if he's trying to run away from himself.

Vienna was the most feared person in the town just because of the rumors that were said. One day, she was near to death when she was taken from her home and dragged out to the lake to be drowned. Vienna tries to forget about it as much as possible, but she is still fearful and doesn't quite trust anyone. Vienna ran her hand through her hair as she walked outside of the palace walls. Vienna usually wonders what goes on in there, but the only time she is there, she usually goes to the garden to look at all the beautiful flowers. So far, she hasn't been caught 'yet.' As she is walking she notices someone, she wonders what that person could be doing here, but she lays low.

Avlina stretched and yawned on her bed, she could smell the lavender in the bath her handmaids had prepared for her. Smiling, she got out of bed and let her negligee slide to the floor. Stepping into the warm water, she let out a satisfied sigh. After finishing her bath, Avlina dried off and stepped into the clothes left out for her. They know me so well. She thought happily, having been able to bathe and dress herself. She retrieved an apple from the table and headed to the stables.

"Hey boy, you wanna go for a ride?" She asked, reaching her stallions stall. The stallion whinnied excitedly as she reached up to pet him, offering the apple. "I know, I didn't come to see you yesterday. I'm sorry Shadowmere." She cooed, strapping his saddle on. "Let's go boy." She leapt into the saddle and headed out into the castle rides, letting Shadowmere have free rein.

Mai was already awake and saw her brother go somewhere else. Wondering what he might be planning to do next. She was also the the stables and was feeding the other horses just to pass time. She didn't had the energy to eat breakfast with Daniel. She sighed and remembers what Charles told her.

"Tell me that you won’t try to force something that’s not there... one day I might love you and if that might turn into never tell me you will stand by me as my partner... And if the might turns into I do tell me you stand by me as my wife and as my nations queen these are my requirements for marriage.”

She blushed at thought of Charles and cups her cheeks just remembering him. "W-what am I thinking about... t-this is impossible!" she whined to herself "My dear brother only thought about my engagement with Charles to form a strong alliance, nothing more. No feelings regarded, right? Just for appearance sake. I mean that's all there is, right?" she turned to one of the horses who was eating some carrots she gave them. Giggling, she brushes the horse's mane and turns away and decides to go to the royal Garden.

When she got there, she sees some of the gardeners who were cutting some bushes and some were watering the flowerbeds. She was greeted by them and she greeted back naturally. Seeing their warm and thoughtful gestures as to not disturb her. Some servants came to the gazebo and prepared her some tea. "Princess Mai, we thought that you might need something to eat right now, since well.. you didn't eat breakfast today, we were just worried." the old servant pours tea on her cup before serving it to Mai. She looks down at the cup and the sandwiches that was prepared for her. It was clear that the servants really cared for Mai, mostly from the old servants who was around the incident when she gt back home and was rescued by Daniel back then. "Thank you very much, I appreciate it." she picks up the cup and takes a sip. "It's very good." she simply said as the servants smiled and loved her honesty.


Town's Market

Meanwhile, Ezekiel was at the busy market's. Looking around, people were smiling, working hard to ship supplies, food, armory, and other necessities that are needed for the everyday life. He hears music playing at the plaza and chuckled and continues to wander around the busy place. He bought some bread and apple as his breakfast for today. He sat down while eating, and then sees some kids who were playing around at the fountain. He remembers the time that he used to play with Taruko when they were children. 'I guess she can't run like that for now, haha' he thought, making a mental joke out of her but thought she was still cute. Then he scans the place and sees a bookstore nearby. 'Found my next destination.' he thought while eating his apple.

Clotilde had awoke early in the morning. She was not normally an early riser, but today, she was excited. She couldn't believe that Daniel was putting her in charge of throwing a party. She dressed in a pale pink dress before going out into the garden. She wanted to see what she wanted for the floral arrangements. She adored flowers. Roses, tulips, peonies, she loved them all.

As she walked through the gardens, she saw Mai, sitting in the gazebo. Clotilde walked up to the gazebo and curtsied before Mai.

"Princess!" said Clotilde with a bright smile. "How do you do?"

Vienna was ready for whatever punishment she was to receive for getting caught trespassing. She didn't move one bit, all she did was stand up. As she stood, you could hear the beauty of her outfit since she had small little beads and such at over her. Vienna watched as the man who was on the horse ordered for the guards to leave her alone. Vienna wanted to know why in the world with someone with such high authority give his guards the order of not seizing her for trespassing. Vienna watched as they walked away from her and the man who saved her. Vienna knew he was in high authority since he told the guards what to do. She took one step back, but never ran or walked away. "Thank you, and I apologize for trespassing." She said softly. Vienna was very soft spoken and she didn't want any trouble so she didn't really move or do anything.
