The Kidnapped Princess

There wasn't a hint of hesitation as Lucian seemed to slice through them one by one. He hit the children with the blunt side of the blade, successfully knocking them out but without leaving any permanent injuries. By the time he walked out to meet the other two, blood had been splattered across his cloak but everything else remained surprisingly spotless.

The two made it outside and Azule wrinkled her nose when she spotted blood on Lucian's coat when he came out. "Well now that that's over..." She trailed off. There was really no way for her to end that, so she just glanced around. It was dark out now.

"We return to the Inn" Lucian said with finality "Unless you want to run away again"

He gave the princess a stoic glance but his eyes were shining with challenge. It was nearly night and the shadows were his domain. If she chose to run now, she wouldn't get very far.

She returned the glare with one of her own, but just made a quiet remark under her breath then gave in. "Fine... We'll go back." She said, as if she had a choice. Before they could head back however, she asked, "How did you find me?"

The shadow bird opened its beak but no sound came out. Lucian gestured to the animal, silently answering the princess' question. The boy looked at the bird in slight awe before noticing Lucian's gaze and quickly hiding behind Azura. "Night falls quickly, we must leave now" He stated.

(sorry I've been busy with the other RP's )

Azule glanced at the little boy, but just meekly nodded at Lucian. If they couldn't bring the child, maybe he would flee this place and find somewhere else to stay. Hopefully.

Lucian walked into the Inn and placed several silver coins onto the Innkeepers table. The old man glanced at Azura and the little boy before waving them off. Lucian nodded his head in silent thanks and lead the two up back the stairs.

Azule followed into the inn, glancing at the little boy, and then the inn keeper before trailing up the stairs after Lucian.

Lucian closed the door behind them before silently turning to face the two. He moved towards the boy who immediately scrambled back, a frightened look in his eyes. "Stop moving" Lucian commanded, leaning down to his knees in front of the child. Slowly he traced a finger on the boys broken ankle, earning a squeal of protest and pain from the younger lad.

Azule watched uncertainly, wondering if Lucian had some magic healing power, or if he was hurting the child on purpose.

Lucian made eye contact with the boy. “I need to place your bone back in its proper place before I heal it”.

The child’s eyes widened and he rapidly shook his head in apprehension to the daemon’s idea. Lucian let out a sigh.

“Hold still, this is going to hurt”

A second later a sickening crack resounded through the room along with the boy’s pain filled screams. He continued to thrash his arms wildly in an attempt to get away.

“Azul hold his arms down” Lucian requested, struggling to hold the boys legs still. With both hands preoccupied he wouldn’t be able to heal the wound.

Her mouth had dropped open when she was watching, but when asked to hold him down, she shut her mouth and kneeled down next to the child. Gently, but firmly she grabbed his wrists and held them down so he couldn't move them.

Black smoke seemed to seep from Lucian's fingers until it wrapped itself around the boy's ankle. Another crack could be heard and it seemed that was as much pain as the boy could handle before passing out. Lucian sighed and carried the child's limp body before placing it gently onto the bed. He grabbed the blanket and laid it out onto the wooden floor before turning to face the princess.

"Would you like to share the bed with the boy or sleep with me?"

At this point, Lucian was being as blunt as possible, tired from the day's unlikely outcomes.

Azule watched with a mystified expression. She was extremely sorry for the child's pain, but managed to make herself realize Lucian was only helping him. She watched the boy be placed down, and then she was asked a question and slowly let her gaze travel to Lucian. She could tell he was tired.

She had never slept with anyone, and was a little uncertain of the situation. Sure, the bed would be comfier, but she didn't even know the child's name. He was a complete stranger basically.

She knew a little about Lucian, just his name, the fact he had powers, and he had kidnapped her for another country. Azule wouldn't admit it, but yet, she felt safer with Lucian.

"With you I suppose... If you don't mind," She said after an obvious hesitation.
