The start of a new school year meant a new dorm and a new dorm mate. Kana was no stranger to the school or the dorms, so she knew right where she was going. Today was a day for getting settled in and tomorrow they would have to meet their teachers for the semester.


She found her dorm quickly enough and shuffled through an annoying set of keys until she pulled free a golden one that looked newer than the rest. She unlocked the door and shuffled inside. It was exactly like her old dorm right down to the bunk beds. Now she just had to meet her new room mate.

As far as Aoi was concerned, the start of a new school year only meant a clean slate, soon to be filled with detentions and staying after school to help clean up something-or-other, which is what she did whenever she found herself in trouble the year before. School was a strange place full of girls who were too busy checking their hair in the middle of the hallway. Aoi could have cared less.


Hoping she had received a nice dorm and dorm mate, she unlocked the door with her key to find no one there... Yet. Impatiently, Aoi stomped over to her bed, where she put a post-it-note saying that she claimed the top bunk. She stuck it to the pillow of the top bunk.

Kana was started to get restless waiting for her new room mate. Books were just not cutting it so she hopped out of bed and threw her hair over one shoulder and walked out of her dorm. The lobby was decorated with comfortable blue plush couches and chairs, a class coffee table and there were snack machines on the east wall. It was a place for students to hang out and study or socialize after their classes, but as of this moment it was mostly empty besides a few students passing through to their dorms on the second floor.


She made her way down and plopped down on one of the couches and pulled her phone out.

She let a faint sigh escape her lips as she pocketed her phone. 'Oh, Yukino, you liar.' She thought to herself.

 

[Fazy]

Aoi had gotten bored after unpacking all of her belongings. When she could no longer find anything interesting to do, she walked out of her dorm room, sighing. "Damn it. I'm tired of life," she moaned aloud. Her face turned a little pink as she turned and noticed a pretty-looking blonde-haired girl sitting on a couch. Aoi was determined to make at least one friend in her dorm before school started, just so that she wouldn't be a complete loner.


Aoi was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a t-shirt with the words 'Unreal' written in calligraphy-cursive gold ink, and her signature high heels. "Hey, girl with the blond hair," she calls.

Kana glanced around at hearing a voice. Then her eyes widened when she realized she was the girl with blonde hair being referred to. She offered a kind smile and a tiny wave. "Hey!" She murmured as her eyes scanned up and down her figure. She was cute with white hair and green eyes and her cheeks were faintly red which made Kana smile a little wider. "What's up?" She asked curiously, eyebrows raised.

Gabriel arrived in his room. "Well, here I am for another year." He said with a smile. "I'm gonna teach them, so let's see how they look like." He headed to the cafeteria to grab a snack.

Aoi grinned. "Well, you see," she said, refusing to take time to beat around the bush. She wanted to get straight to the point, but she thought calling this girl 'hot' straight to her face seconds after meeting her seemed a bit extreme, even to Aoi. "So, I just thought we could be friends. If, that is, you want to. I don't have any, and I've just moved into my dorm. My roommate still hasn't gotten here. I wonder if I even have a roommate - this dorm seems a little quiet." She scratched the back of her head, now feeling a little shy and slightly awkward. "If you aren't busy, we could hang out in the school. I heard it's open. We could probably grab a snack in the cafe, if we wanted to."

Kana chuckled lightly and stood up from the couch, making sure to grab her phone. "Sure, I'll be your friend. My room mate isn't here yet either, and I admit I'm feeling a little restless." She said blushing lightly as she walked over to her and gestured for her to follow. "I'm Kyomi Kanade, by the way. You can call me Kana though, everyone here at the school does." She shrugged her shoulders at that, her smile was still wide as ever.

(Yuzu, I have to go to sleep. Good night for now, and I'll talk to you tomorrow morning. Time zones...)

"See ya next year, lil' cowgirl." Her father said while waving goodbye.


"See ya never, Dad." She replied with a small giggle.


She gone to the airplane, hopefully meeting some friends.


"Hope to a different year." She sighed.

"Oh, my last name is Kuroashi," Aoi adds. "Then, I guess I'll get straight to calling you Kana. It sounds so pretty." She follows on Kyomi's heels to wherever she was taking her. "I'm hungry," Aoi comments, hoping that maybe she would get to eat something. She hadn't eaten any food for breakfast because she hadn't been hungry, but she immediately began to regret her poor decision.

"Kuroashi." Kana repeated, smile faint on her lips as she lead her out of their dorms and toward the school. It was a nice day out and a short walk to the cafe. "We can get something to eat." She reassured as they walked. "Do you dye your hair?" She asked, eyebrows raised in curiosity as she reached over and ran a lock of her hair through a coulpe of her fingers. @Fazy

 

[Fazy]

"Eh? Of course!" Aoi says, laughing. "You actually think my hair is actually white? I'm not that old, thanks." She paused. "Is your hair also naturally that color? Don't take me wrong. It's just so pretty, I have to ask. If you do, I may want to get that color of dye. Then maybe I'd appear more attractive, too," she jokes.

"No, you're right. This is my natural hair color." She flicked her hair to one side and giggled softly. "You're pretty, Kuroashi-san. You have wonderful eyes!" She cooed, giving her a playful nudge. "I like your hair like that too. You don't need to do a thing, hun! You're hot." She laughed cheerfully. @Fazy

 

[Fazy]

"But you're hotter," Aoi says in response. "And, thanks. I haven't gotten a compliment in a while, and I do suppose I could use one." They arrive inside the school and begin walking towards the cafeteria. The school itself looked quite impressive and professional, with its white walls and shiny floor. It was obviously well-cared for. Aoi's cheeks turn red as she starts to play with her hair. "You get all the guys, and some girls, too."

Kana just chuckled and shook her head at the compliment. "I don't really care about all that.." She admitted, giving a light shrug of her shoulders as her eyes wandered over to Aoi. "I've been here for three years already, trust me! These girls won't even look at me when they get one look at you." She said cheerfully, giving her another wink. "You'll learn.. I'm kind of boring too." She let a nervous chuckle escape her lips at that.

"Hey, what's your sexuality?" Aoi asks. "If you don't mind me asking, that is."

Kana actually blushed at that and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Uhh.. I had a relationship once with a girl, but I've never had one with a guy so I don't really know.." She murmured over at her in a quiet tone.

Maki: -she arrived at the academy, heading straight for dorms, she was excited to start a new year with a new dorm mate, she smiled a contented smiled and entered, the building, she quietly walked to her dorm room, she walked in and saw no-one was in there, she was bit downhearted to not see the face of fellow human but she shrugged it off and sat on a bed, she was tired so she dropped of her suitcase by the bed and slept on the bed, she was exhausted as she had stayed up all night with excitement and it was next to impossible to sleep before she slept she yawned and whispered- "I wonder if this'll be a fun year" -before she fell asleep on the bed one of her legs dangling of the bed-

"Oh, I'm pan," she says. "I've been in a relationship with a few girls, but it doesn't really end up working. Guys don't really like me, either," she admits. Inside the school cafeteria, there were a few students lounging around at the back, and one teacher up somewhere at the front. "So, what kind of cafeteria food do they have here?"

Kana gave her a nod and shrugged her shoulders lightly. "Why do you ask? You going to try and win my heart?" She laughed lightly, her tone suggesting it was just a joke. The two walked into the giant cafe and there was some students hanging out and chatting and even a teacher as well. "It's just school food." She shrugged and shook her head. "Pretty bland, but we could probably get some tea and maybe some muffins or cookies if you want." She added.
