Right now I happen to have some extra time, and I realised something. I need more SWTOR and more SWTOR RPs in my life. And also just Star Wars more generally, but this time, specifically, I'm looking for SWTOR RPs. Because there is just something about the game, and the characters you can make in it, that drives me to distraction. Seriously, SWTOR seems to just live... rent-free in my head.
With that in mind, I figured that since I have some slow-paced RPs already going in the background, and I'm still not satisfied, maybe I'd angle for some more SWTOR RP - possibly from another side!
Now, if you've already seen my other prompt, you'll now I absolutely love SWTOR for the amount of interaction the characters you make can have with each other. The class stories intersect, reference each other, follow along similar trajectories, and each one has so much scope for you to make the character feel alive. And because I also love the depth and richness of the interactions between the Jedi and Sith of Star Wars, and all the angst and character drama that can occur between them, I really love the idea of a relationship between a Sith and a Jedi set in the time of this game. Yet after you finish each class story, frustratingly, there's very little in the way of either inter-class-story interaction, or cross-faction play. So no Sith and Jedi interaction, no interaction between your own characters, nothing. It's a limitation that doesn't hurt the game... but it does leave so much to be explored.
So much to be explored, in fact, that I think there are some gaps we could fill. Take some class story characters, play them off against one another, and see how they impact each other - how they effect their stories, how they interact..... and who knows! Maybe how they fall in and out of love, or deal with the stresses placed on them by the game's overarching plot and events! I just happen to have a few Jedi and Sith OCs I'd be happy to play against your own class story characters.
So if you happen to know SWTOR, and even better, have Class Story characters to play, I'd be absolutely over the moon. I would love to see the overlapping story threads start to intertwine, collide, intersect, and unravel. I would love to see the interactions of these characters as they soldier against the onset of a new galactic war, and find themselves thrust together, torn apart, undone and remade all over again, time after time. The drama. The angst. The storytelling potential.
But class story characters are not a strict requirement! If you have another plot in mind, we can go down that route as well! Maybe you have OCs or canon characters you want to play, maybe you'd like alternative plots explored! If so, please come to me with suggestions, and we can see what we can plot out!
