On Mar 1, 2039 the EBS (Emergency Broadcast System) came on warning all civilians to report to their nearest shelter. Smart people did as they were told. Many, however, did not. Some partied. Some went on five finger discount shopping sprees. Some just created mayhem…
Shortly thereafter WWIII began. Hypersonic stealth missiles hit their targets with deadly accuracy and thus began the extinction level event of mankind - brought on by its own aggressions. M.A.D., they called it, the policy of Mutually Assured Destruction. Never was there a more fitting acronym.

About 100(?) humans will find themselves on each of the islands below, segregated by racial or political differences. The segregation will NOT be perfect. (Those responsible made a few mistakes.) The islands listed below will be satellite islands that surround a larger island.
Each smaller island has an area of about 30 square miles (about 6 miles across). The central island has an area of about 2000 square miles. All islands are about 25-30 miles from their nearest neighbor. The islands are listed below in clockwise order with Island 1 at the far north, Island 2 NE, Island 3 E, and so on.
The smaller islands have limited but survivable resources. Noone lives on the central island, but odds are that it has greater resources. There is little in the way of dangerous predators on the smaller islands, but the same may not be true of the central island.

Technology
Nothing has been built on the island. This will mean building civilization from the ground up. Regardless of culture, all characters will awaken on the island in a two piece bodysuit made of some sort of thick, durable Spandex-like material. No weapons or tools of any kind. No matches, lighters, etc. Nada. This doesn’t mean that you can’t caveman the problem. Figure it out. Clothing was provided. Food and shelter are up to you.
Characters
Members are welcome to develop characters on more than one island. All arrivals will be healthy specimens up to 25. The youngest will depend on the culture, the age at which sexual activity is commonplace - or marriage is commonly practiced.
Roles will be assigned partly by GM, partly by the members of each Island. For your CS, SUGGEST a role based on your skills.
While LGTBQ is NOT tagged here (I removed it/), It IS allowed. However, the setting may NOT be friendly. Initially the main concerns will be food and shelter. But eventually things may get ugly.

NO God-Modding. GM controls will be applied to discovered resources - especially on the central island. As one might guess, there is nothing natural about the islands. They are an experiment.
