The schools produce wonderful results with their students, the economy is thriving with engagement of local, small businesses and the collaboration of major companies as well. But behind the glittering veil the city hides behind, Skyline still faces the major issue of crime. As the sun sets in for the night, creeps with vicious intent in their eyes lurk in the shadows — preying on the innocent. In recent years, reports have been filing in with victims mentioning strange occurrences; As if their attacker could lift metal with their mind or run literal circles around them before they stole everything. The SCPD blamed it on drinking, until more complaints came in.

It was clear there was something sinister at hand in the city — something that didn’t quite hold much value in the eyes of the mayor as it did to his citizens, yet it was a problem that’s only grown in size that needed to be terminated, and quickly. Enter Ezra Marten, one of the richest men in America and a Skyline citizen, born and raised. A self-made biotech investor, billionaire and CEO of his own company, Mr Marten introduced an idea to the city's council: why not fight fire with fire? The billionaire had his eyes and heart set on building a team of superheroes, just like the comics and movies his childhood was invested in. Within a world that is powered by money, even in Skyline City, you still can't quite say no to someone who can throw money at you.

So Ezra Marten received a pass on his crime fighting team, a select group he's been watching for a while and training is coming closer with each passing day. Whether it's a moment of pride, shame; Willing or not-so willing, you've become valuable to one rich man and his intention to clean up the streets of Skyline City.

→ Lack of Self-Worth: This is one of his worse vices. It seems to be a constant in his overall personality, no matter how happy he appears. He sees himself as undeserving of anything good, let it be friendship, love, or any basic human need. This flaw arises mostly from a fear of his own abilities, as he is afraid if he gets anything good and keeps it for a long period, he'll eventually destroy it of his own accord bo matter how careful he is.
→ Cynical: Though it's an issue heavily related to his self-worth, Malichi's cynicism is a problem all it's own. No matter how good a person seems, if someone interacts with Malichi, he will always see it as a concern with the person's own selfish desires. This makes him isolate himself and refuse to form close relationships out of fear the person will leave him once they get what they want out of him.
→ Short Tempered: Though he's a naturally gentle person, that doesn't mean Malichi's temper doesn't get in the way. This isn't to say he specifically gets mad at small things, though— he'll let major issues fester for days and days on end, then one minor thing will finally set him off. This wouldn't be so bad if his bouts of anger weren't driven by intensity. If Malichi ends up angry, he'll resort to physical violence, on inanimate objects or otherwise, to get his anger out. However, he immediately feels remorseful after his bout of rage ends, despite knowing he can't take what he did back.
→ Unforgiving: The trait that drives people away from him the most. No matter how small the mistake, Malichi keeps it close and lets it become a grudge against the person. No matter how hard the person tries to make up for their misdeed, he holds it against them for however long he knows them. Malichi is fully aware of this trait and only keeps it close because if he draws people away with his grudges then nobody can get into his head. For as much as he apologizes, he can't take an apology back.

→ Friendly: Though Malichi is antisocial, that doesn't mean he's a cold person. If someone approaches him, he'll try his best to hold a civil conversation, even if he can't exactly keep his composure. Though, nice as he is, he's never nice enough for someone to want to get close to him. That's why people, oftentimes, just describe him as 'average'. Not overly mean, not overly nice. Malichi, however, prefers to view himself as a kind individual, willing to lend a helping hand to someone whenever they need it.
→ Honest: People who know Malichi well know he can't tell a lie, even if it was to save his life. Malichi says he can't offer much, but he can at least offer his pure honesty. photographic memory - isla’s memory is superb and one of the reasons for her knowledge. She’s able to remember scenes and picture with vivid detail and with a great accuracy rate.
[div class=firstword]weaknesses[/div] calorie expenditure - when using pyrokinesis, isla uses an immense amount of calories to keep the fire burning. much like how an incinerator needs coal to burn, isla needs calories to keep burning. while it doesn’t seem like a big weakness in theory, isla’s calorie expenditure is immense. The girls needs about 5000 calories a day to merely practice power control. when practicing combat or other high power activities, her calorie expenditure double and even triples at times. If Isla eats below her calorie expenditure, she can burn through muscle and her vital organs, resulting in the deterioration of her body.
spontaneous combustion - at random times, especially during times where the body temperature rises, isla can catch on combust or explode. even at times when the girl is content, she can combust and can be considered dangerous towards others around her, especially to humans without powers. to isla, she describes as “fire incontinence” due the loss of control she experiences. these fire outbursts, last from 5 minutes to full on hours and she can even be quarantined to reduce the risk. while isla does work on reducing these incidents by concentration and exercise to reduce these incidents to zero, they can happen unexpectedly and cause damage.
susceptibility to cold weather - because of her body’s chemistry, isla is twice as more susceptible to freezing temperatures than the average human. Standing for too long in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit will begin to drain her strength. In addition, cold weather can weaken her powers and cause body deterioration.
magma creation - isla cannot create magma with her body and can only manipulate already existing magma/lava. the magma needs to also be in close proximity to her or else it is rendered useless.
distance limitations - isla is very new to magna manipulation specifically so she can only manipulate the material so far. on average, she can only manipulate about 2.5 meters in front of her. any further and not only does she get exhausted but the magma cools, resulting in igneous rock which she cannot manipulate.
effects of water - by the law of chemistry, water and an oil-based fire can be disastrous for surrounding objects. this logic applies to isla’s body and super power chemistry. water in any form can harm cause isla’s powers to flame out of control and become ferocious. like a bomb, the fire explodes and the temperatures can reach so hot that they can cause burns on isla’s body and severe damage to those around her.

Sound Manipulation - Alice can manipulate the pressure waves in which sound travels, either completely eliminating the sound or amplifying it to a certain degree.

Sound is an experience to Alice, and one she doesn't take lightly. Her reliance on music to get through her day to day life has left her with a particular skill-set that may not seem outwardly useful, but with a little digging, can wield excellent results.
◈ If Alice doesn't want to be heard coming and going, then it's a guarantee she won't be. Thanks to years off practice on herself, Alice can easily muffle the sound of her own movements completely. Since she knows exactly where her feet are going to land, it's easy to locate the sound waves and silence them. Her reaction time has become skilled enough that she can silence most other objects and people if she's paying attention, but it depends on the size and location of what's producing the sounds.
◈ Although not as strong as her ability to silence sounds, Alice can also amplify them. Although it's nothing ear-shattering, it can distract and disorient foes if needed. It also makes her the most popular performer at her club. Guests claim that whenever she dances, they can 'feel' the music in their bones.
◈ Thanks to her ability to manipulate sound, Alice is able to tune into different frequencies. Although this causes her a nasty headache after depending on the frequency, she also always has a heads-up on where the cops are heading.

◈ Sound is a tricky thing to work with. Although Alice makes it look easy thanks to her practice, she's constantly exerting herself physically and mentally when using her power. Picking the right waves to manipulate requires much of her focus, and she often exhausts herself before the job is over. Even if she wants to get back into battle quickly and push herself, Alice just simply can't. She had to relax in a naturally quiet environment, or she'll likely faint.
◈ Multiple sounds at once cause Alice to become overstimulated. Although she can handle a singular loud noise, like the music at her club, she often struggles in actual fights where multiple people are calling out, and blows are being traded. Her vision easily blurs, and she may find herself going down without even getting hit. (Wearing noise-canceling earplugs may help, but she'll miss vital calls from teammates if she isn't paying attention to where the vibrations are originating from.)
◈ Teamwork doesn't make the dream work. Alice is terrible to work with, since she often uses her power to only aid herself. Sounds she wants removed may be vital for others to move forward, and if she tries to amplify a noise to take down an opponent, she might as well be taking down a teammate too.
