I don't really know how this could start or continue on, so it's going to require a lot of planning. I will try to come up with several ways it could go and we can which one we like the best and work off from there. If you have an idea - character or plot - don't be afraid to say something and we can talk about it!

I still plan on running my knife wielder with illusions as far as characters go. I wanna give him throwing knives and one special dagger. I'm thinking it'll be made out of something special like adamantium or vibranium or maybe coming up with something original like some strange metal from an asteroid or something. The dagger might have a chain for easy pull back or possibly pull off a scorpion "GET OVER HERE!". Maybe some parkour. but I haven't put enough thought there yet.

As far as is concerned... Why are the characters together? Depending on how many RPers we got, we may have them on one group assignment or multiple. Maybe they are all individually sent out on their first assignment and on their second one, they are sent in a group. All sorts of ways we can start this off. The characters work for the same group. they might not know each other well but they have probably heard of each other's names mentioned and know who each other are.

To get down to what the plot is... Maybe they are sent to a mission briefing and given an assignment. The mission briefing could be where they get together. talk. and boom! assignment time. If they are given an assignment, the difficulty of the task should of course depend on who's going on the mission. Are they retrieving data? Are they destroying something? Assassinating someone? Perhaps they are a bodyguard on an escort job. Maybe they are tracking down a rogue scientist or something. All sorts of mission possibilities.

They could start off enjoying some downtime. They could be at base eating or training. They could be sparring each other a day before being sent out on a mission or something. The base could even be attacked by enemies of hydra at some point as well.

I really like your character idea! As far as the material, I think vibranium would be a nice idea seeing as that's what hydra made bucky's arm out of. But I also think that because this is a new generation of experiments, it would be symbolic to have discovered a new and improved element.

As for the start, I was thinking that they would be sent on group missions together. After some time, there appears to be "a glitch in the matrix" or they get overwhelming senses of deja vu or lucid memories. One character could wake up from the memory wipe and can try to wake the others. That part is still a little unclear to me but I'm still generating ideas. But I would like for them to some point along the way question if they want to even try to redeem themselves from the lives they lived. In other words, would they want to try to become the new band of heroes? Or would they find that path of life boring, and want to continue lending their skills to the highest bidder?

Hydra would probably want their agents back so we'd have to deal with that. and then there is the case of disagreements. Maybe the characters will all agree to become heroes. Maybe stay with hydra. Maybe get sent after former hydra agents to bring them back into the fold. The heroes might even split up! as far as highest bidder skill goes. I can see the possibility of becoming a mercenary as a valid option. We'd have to see what each character wants to do there.

Heya! I'm thinking of making a character that would have been experimented on with animal DNA. Certain parts of certain animals nit-picked to make them stronger and faster, sort of thing. Maybe wings of some sort, though I can't decide whether they'd have been part of the DNA thing, or mechanically made by Hydra. They'd probably have a few side-effects of these things for sure, like being easily overstimulated by sounds and lights, and maybe even being more 'beastly' mannerism wise. It's a bare-bones idea, so I'm more than willing to take criticism and help! These sort of things come to me when I'm half asleep, after all xD

Ill throw in my two cents. How humanlike and animal like would they be?


They could possibly be looking like a chimera with body parts from different animals

or they could also be really human like with all the animal DNA being mostly on the inside. The wings would be visible no matter what direction you go. Theres all sorts of ways you his mix it up.

If you wanna go mechanical, all these improvements could make you a cyborg.

I think they'd mostly be human, with most of the differences being small or inside.

I'm thinking maybe they originally grew wings, but they were classed as too 'flimsy' for their missions, so they were removed to make way for mechanical versions that would be less likely to break, or at least easier to fix/control, maybe with some sort of way for a handler to shut them down so they couldn't just fly off.

Maybe cat-like eyes, for better night-vision, but they'd be colourblind as a result, and sensitive to sudden light changes or bright lights. Maybe even claws, for better grip and as a weapon, and sharper teeth. All in all, definitely not 'normal' human-looking xD

What about setting? Like will this take place in the modern day, or shortly after the program began? TO that end how much of the rest of Marvel will we end up seeing? Will fighting the marvel heroes be a regular occurrence or very rare while we focus on our own slice of the AU?

As the group establishes itself more, then Hydra will gradually nudge them in that direction. Maybe they are assigned to take down a marvel hero and that's when one of them "wakes up"?

That sounds like a pretty reasonable starting point. I'd say im fairly interested in participating if we do get this thing off the ground

The plan so far: Your character is the best of their program. The road to get to their spot has not been an easy one. In saying that, your character must have gone on ten previous missions that they’ve completed successfully. One day, your character gets a message from Hydra to meet at a safe house in the-middle-of-no-where Sokovia. Seeing as most of Sokovia was thought to be destroyed, it seems a little suspicious. But the order cannot be ignored. They meet up and are surprised to find other soldiers have gotten the same message. Never in history has Hydra tried to formulate a team. Hydra claimed it made their soldiers “erratic” and “unpredictable.” But seeing as it's been plenty of time to correct any of their mistakes, Hydra wants to put a team together. The first mission that is given to the group is simple. It was made to test out their dynamic and how well each individual member functions in unusual circumstances. The mission goes even better than expected, leaving Hydra in high hopes for their new star squad. Rather hastily, they assign the team on another mission. While all the necessary tasks were performed (i.e memory wipes and needed updates on armor) something went wrong with the memory wipe, unbeknownst at the time. The characters return back to the Sokovian safe house to start planning the new mission. They were tasked with taking down a major hero (I’m unsure of what hero). They create a meticulous design and it's thought that nothing can go wrong. They are a few minutes away from completing the mission when the first character can wake up. From then on, it's up to you when or even if you want your character to wake up. So far, this sound ok?

Out of most of them....Ms Marvel and Moon Night were kinda meh, She-Hulk felt insulting (They just need to do Ally Mcbeal with superpowers but nope), Hawkeye and Winter Soldier was good seemed like it needed to swap plots halfway through (Which given the virus plot/covid stuff IRL made sense but show suffered a bit), Loved Hawkeye and Loki though.
