There's the black roses that cover her entire left forearm, the feather on her collar bone, and the dragon on her left hip to name some.
Power(s): Telekinesis: Faye is probably the strongest telekentic you will ever meet. She has unbelievable control over her Telekinesis, it's almost like another set of hands. She rarely ever needs to put any real effort into working with it. A few summers ago, the kids swear the was stopping bullets, though nobody can say for sure. Along with this, She has mastered most, if not all the basic applications, and is working on the more advanced techniques.
Finder Power: Faye knows where literally any inaminte object is in the house, or on the grounds. It's really handy too. Can't find the remote? Go ask Faye, the hear her mutter about how you can never put it back. Lost your socks? Go ask Faye, then get scoldd for skipping out on Landry duty. Can't find your book? Go ask Faye, then get asked why you were at the cabin when that's only for the older people. Like I said, handy but a little annoying.
How you got to Songbird's Rest:
Songbird's Rest has been in her family for generations, so Faye was born and raised right here. Her mother was the corner caretaker, up until she went missing two years ago, where the responsibility fell to her.
Personality: Faye is a kind, fun loving person with a big heart, and open mind, and a pretty relaxed way of doing things. She's like the cool big sister everyone wants to have. You know, fun and all, but fiercely protective. Mess with any of the kids under her care, or hell, anyone she cares about for that matter, and it may just be the last mistake you make. But, with all that being said, Faye is stressed like 24/7, running on about three hours of sleep and seven cups and three shots of coffee. So try to be good, or nice or whatever, cause she's like a house fire away from a mental breakdown.
*Bio: Everyone knows that Faye grew up right here in Northbrook, right there in Songbird's. Her mother, father, older brother and grandparents all shared the house with other people who would come and go. A part from the occasional creep, Faye grew up around happy people, everyone just like her. She was trained by other Telekentics who would pass through, and she went to the schools right there in town. Her grandparents passed when she was in elementary school, her father passing when she was almost done with highschool, which left her and her mother in charge of Songbird's. Two years ago, her mother dissappered, leaving her and her brother to look after it themsleves, though Faye has found herself ultimately in charge, and that's where we find ourselves today. But this is just what the people know...who knows what she's not telling.

Bio: Lacy was left at the house ever since she was a child and for most of her life she was raised in the house, she still has little to no control over her power and often has to where weights just to stay on the ground but most of the time she is fine. Lacy is interested in learning who her parents were and in her powers.

How you got to Songbird's Rest: Tyson was found as a baby on the doorstep of Songbird's Rest with a small note taped to his clothes, reading, "treat him like family". Mrs. Jackson took this to heart and adopted him into the family, naming him and treating him as her own son.
Personality: Tyson is a lovable kind of guy, with a jokester personality and a sharp wit. He loves playing pranks, especially on his sister Faye. As he acts as an orientation guide, he is incredibly friendly, especially to newcomers. If you need a shoulder to cry on or an ear to whisper into, Ty is your man. He is steadfast and loyal, caring and understanding, and will go out of his way to ensure everyone is happy. He is almost kind to a fault, as he might overlook himself in the scheme of things, or get so caught up in what he's doing that he might ignore someone else.
*Bio: After Tyson was found, he grew up in the Jackson family like he had been born there. He always knew he was adopted, but never felt sad or ashamed, as he had no memory of his previous life. Appearance: Jade is an average but short 5'3 with long gold hair and blue eyes; although that can frequently change due to her ability. She has a very curvy figure but petite and slimmed figure with the brightest blue eyes. She usually is always seen smiling - which never seems to catch her eyes. She has a deep scar on each of her wrists and then a deep on her right hip and one long one down her back. (Details like height, tattoos, scars, ect.)

Power(s): Self - matter manipulation in shape shifting = she can change her look at will along with any part of her body at all. She can't however stretch it too far. She can change many things and grow taller as such but she figures (she wouldn't know, it hasn't happened) that if she were to loose a limb, she would not be able to regrow it. This being said, she also has the ability to manipulate her own matter into becoming an animal - but she has only gotten three animals down so far: an owl, house cat, and cheetah. The animal shifting takes a lot out of her which usually means she ends up stuck as the animal for up to a week or two. She has also been able to make her matter become weak - allowing her to walk through things like walls. So in basic terms - she can manipulate her matter to change her appearance or into several animals as well as manipulate the bonds.

Strength - This is technically a second power, although some theorize that she has super strength due to making her atoms more dense. Her super strength only comes out in emergencies for some reason, she can't make it happen.

How you got to Songbird's Rest:
Jade knew some one that was briefly there before they decided to leave. When her first power came out - super strength - she contacted the caretaker about coming. However, authorities showed up and attempted to arrest her for a crime she didn't commit and in fright she revealed her second gift and turned into an owl. So unused to it and unpracticed - she ended up stuck as an owl for over six months until she finally turned back, completely naked and alone in the snow right outside their house.

Personality: Jade is the type of person that loves to make other's happy but has an air around them that leads others to believe that they themselves are never happy. She smiles with sadness in her eyes. Nevertheless, she keeps her chin up and witty puns flowing, usually coming off as an airhead blondie. Don't let that full you, her humor may be questionable as well as her emotional state - but there is one thing that is undeniable about her - her immense intellect. If you want to know something about some time, some person in some area - there is a high chance she knows something or someone or has read it somewhere. The intellect goes further than knowledge and a photographic memory, she is wise beyond her years. Through that though, she does have weaknesses in her personality. She is extremely stubborn in everything and tends to assume people dislike her. For no reason. And because she's stubborn no one can sway her thoughts on the subject.
*Bio: Jade Josephine James lived as normal of a life that one could think of, considering how strange she is. However, there are secrets to her past that will make it seem much more strange. Her birth mother was schizophrenic and her father took her and her twin sister Jessica June James away from her to be safe. Jess showed gifts at a young age, she had the ability to talk to animals of all kinds, even as a child. However, because of their mother's condition - their father suspected that she was crazy too. Jess was subjected to many years of therapy and different experiences that even harmed her; and it only made the two sisters closer until they were basically one person. The winter of their eighteenth year was the one where Jade realized that she had gifts too.

Where Jess was the type that had her gifts from birth, Jade had them come about due to survival instinct. The two had escaped their father for a lovely trip up to Maine to their mother's family's cabin in the woods. There was a large blizzard and Jess heard a kitten crying for help on the ice of the pond outside. Without thinking, Jess pulled herself into her winter gear and set off to rescue the poor animal; but fell under the ice. Jade's twin radar went off, she just knew that there was something wrong. She ran onto the pond just as her sister went under but by the time she made it over, her sister had drifted away from the opening by entire yards. So, without thinking, Jade started punching at the ice. Her knuckles soon broke but she continued, breathless until suddenly a burst of adrenaline ran through her and her entire body just... tightened in on itself. With the next blow to the ice, Jade shattered every inch of ice on that entire pond. But she was too late, when she swam to short with her sister and the cat - both were dead.

For a month, Jade stayed secluded away from people... she couldn't even make it to her sister funeral. It was like half of her died as well. That was when the police kept asking questions - like how did her sister die from getting stuck under the ice if all of it was broken? She knew they suspected fowl play that had never happened. She contacted the caretaker a few months later when the questions got worse. When she heard banging on the door after a friend from the force told her they had a warrant, she felt the overwhelming need to not be herself. Wishing she was someone or something else with a face that didn't remind her of Jess, she suddenly had it come true. Jade turned into a snow white owl and simply flew out of the window, leaving everything including the clothes on her back behind. The rest is a blur of feelings, scents, colors, urges; and peace. Until she suddenly woke up in the snow naked and learned that she was nineteen and a half and somehow lost six months of her life. She has been at the house since then, about three years.

He is more likely to "shift" into creatures that don't exist especially if his emotions are intense. He gains physical abilities such as agility, strength, or even flight depending on what creature he has taken the form of(shifting into a number of creatures consecutively will leave him exhausted). Leo can, however, intentionally shift into something as long as he is focused, but this takes a lot of preparation for him to pull off.
Zoolingualism -
Leo is able to understand the speech and emotions of animal life forms(limited to mammal, avian, and reptile). He doesn't have to imitate animal sounds; he use his native language or speak no words at all to communicate with them. How you got to Songbird's Rest:
Leo was alone and new to Northbrook. He was eating at one of their local diners and overheard a couple talking about Songbird's Rest. Later that day he asked around about it, getting similar but different answers from the people who cared to talk of it. Naturally, he was intrigued and full of hope by what he had heard. Leo used a phone book, called the caretaker, and came knocking on the door of Songbird's Rest with only his violin in its case and a backpack of clothes. This will be the first time he is ever going to meet people with "peculiar" talents.

The anatomy of Daisy's are extremely similar to ones of a shark. Very sharp and pointy, with 2 rows of teeth in each jaw. Her teeth don't inherit the fragility of the shark's teeth, fortunately, but unfortunately, even though she can regrow her teeth, it's a very painful process.

How you got to Songbird's Rest: Daisy found about Songbird's Rest when she was passing through Northbrook during one of her "performances". The rumors intrigued her. She wondered if there could be people who were exactly like her. A place like this, where she belonged and could be herself was one of her biggest dreams. Even though she felt guilty about leaving her parents, the people who raised her, she knew she would be better off without them. The night before they left Northbrook, she run away and found herself a place in the Songbird's Rest.

Personality: Daisy is a very energetic and, usually, happy child. She is always off doing something. She loves being around other people and can't keep her mouth closed. Daisy is very curious and loves learning new things, because she never had the chace of being educated. Although, it is very difficult for her to open up to people and can't trust people very easily. She also is very bullheaded and likes doing thing by herself, never accepting help.

Bio: Daisy grew up on the streets, among her family. They lived a very nomadic life, barely making it through. They did all sorts of odd jobs, from music player to street vendor. They were a very loving family, despite the hardships they faced. Although, their main source from income were street shows were Daisy preformed tricks with her special ability. She never truly hated though, because she knew her parents needed the money. But she felt alienated, both by the audience and her family. She could never be normal like them. She could never truly fit in. Until, one day, they passed through a very peculiar little town.

He had many runic-like scars and markings up and down his limbs, and the sides of his body. from failed experiments. His ears are pointed and slightly elongated, and along with his eyes are a byproduct of one of his failed experiments. He stands about 6' and weighs roughly 140 lbs.

Power(s):
Mage - Can create, cast, and control spells, summoning circles, alchemy, and other forms of magic.
Familiar - A spirit animal, so to speak. The familiar is a piece of his own soul - it can manifest itself as a spirit, a corporeal being, or Rune can change into it at will. It has its own mind and will, but is closely tied to and very loyal to Rune, often obeying him.

How you got to Songbird's Rest: Rejected by the foster system, had no where else to go.

Personality: Mindful, curious, scientific, methodical. He takes great pride in his work and will go through great lengths to collect data and information. He doesn’t seem to have any thought about the consequences of his actions, nor does he often put two and two together. As such, he’s very loose with his relationships and will often not realize how his thoughts and actions may affect others around him. He’s very much an airhead, for a scientist. Rune often goes through large periods of mania, where he’ll be up for days on end doing his research and studying his projects and then spend almost a day sleeping afterwards.

Bio: Rune was abandoned when he was young, left to the foster care system. He was shuffled around most of his life from place to place, not really wanted anywhere. It didn't help that he had an affinity for magic and would often conduct experiments with wild abandon and explosive outcomes. When one of his experiments left him disfigured in the eyes and ears, and permanently dyed his hair purple-pink, he was expelled from the foster system. This also happened to be on his eighteenth birthday. It wasn't long after until he came into the care of Songbird's Rest.
