Sorry I should have explained it better, not every character can survive like preferably only a few will actually make it out and thats if any do by the end of the night ,and if its the case that some live then the rp can keep going with how they cope or like the dead characters can come back and haunt them or whatever.
So basically only one of every one's characters are permitted to live so if you make 3 then 2 have to die. However if people want they can have like their dead characters still be present as like ghosts. I hope that makes sense I'm not great at explaining things haha.

Yeah basically the plot is that Amber (my girl) came up with the idea so get them to all go up and spent the night in the 'haunted' house on the 100th anniversary of the murder so basically they're a group of friends going to this house to drink and prove that the story isn't real or for some characters to see if it is real. I'm drawn towards the fact that they've been friends for years like so know each other well.
