A lot of people get the impression that Matthew doesn't like them when they first meet him as he doesn't speak all that much and gives off a hard man attitude however underneath this exterior Matthew is a super sweet guy who would do anything for his friends and family. He is super protective of his friends and if anyone hurts them, god help them. Matthew is very intelligent although he doesn't like to show it off, however he can think of his feet and usually succeeds under pressure. Unlike his Cousin Amber, Matthew prefers to think first and act later rather than he approach of dive in and worry about the consequences when they arrive. He thinks about his actions and always tries to come up with the best solution however in saying that when action is needed fast, he can be seen to act similar to his cousin. He is like the father off the group, taking care of everyone and he tends to nearly always have an eye on his cousin since she is a bit reckless. In saying all that just because he looks after everyone does not make him boring rather Matt is always up for an adventure or doing something fun and can be just as reckless as Amber at times.

Does She Believe The Story: Yes and no. A small part of her has always seen and heard things she could not explain due to her mother's work, but another part of her wants to put it all behind her and prove once and for all that ghosts and spirits are total bullshit.

Plus there is even a piano at the cabin so he can still play his hobby during the little trip.

So, to him, the story about the haunting ghosts and spirits that are supposed to come on this exact date is probably fake and fruit of someone's imagination.
