My Interest Check
In this world countless battles have been fought. The nations have been apart of many wars between themselves, though they have allied in times of need or great danger. Since the beginning of recorded history, none know of greater threats then the Demonic beasts.
Monsters of large size with violent tendencies that may have originally been regular animals at some point... The lands know demonic beasts are terrifying and destructive on the scale of natural diasaters. A example? The demon wolf Haemorsis is very much the same as a bloody tornado of fangs and claws... It destroys anything in its path.

These demons are not invincible however, throughout history people have successfully slain these foul monsters and been free of them for some time before they appeared elsewhere on the world once more.
What was once a ancient technique designed as a peaceful and more viable solution to demonic confrontations became the precedent for humans pursuing power. Instead of slaying the Demon beast, seal it away inside a host or weapon. Learn to harness that monstrous power...

This plot could be set in one of two worlds.
Decided to set this in my own fictional world of Aerth, a medieval fantasy world of monsters and magic. A blend of fantasy from all sources and imagination from anime to dnd and video games... to simplify the magic system id have to say "like black clover" or "like genshin impact" in the sense people able to use magic primarily have one type/class/sort of mana. Fire mana, ice mana, gravity mana, sealing mana etc. If you can think of it and name it appropriately then it's around. Hit me up for more info on races of aerth, magic, demon sealing and more. Your ideas are appreciated and can most likely fit or adapt into Aerth easily. Ask questions here or in a pm, ill make a ooc if people show up. Main thing is each player can post once or twice a week, a paragraph or more. Looking for four or five people

Hello, I'm new to the site and big monsters with cool fantasy action sounds like a blast!

I'm more curious about your original worldbuilding all things considered. How you structured sealing away the magic beasts into objects and even people is what caught my eye. The many implications this raises can lead to a lot of cool plot threads.

I remember in Naruto it was a major plot and worldbuilding piece, but I've forgotten a lot of the details since I dropped it in the middle of Shippuden.

What is the character caps- I have two magic weapon characters- Rogue who is in a symbiotic deal with her demon sword, and if you allow it my plague doctor gunslinger- his guns are usually made of a Godsteel, but I can shift it to his second variant backstory

On Aerth sealing a demon beast into a host or item is done in a few ways.
The most common ways are ritualistic and involve different components and ingredients to make happen.

Though the bigshots of the sealing world are born with the ability to do.
Bob is born with fire mana, he can conjure/manipulate fire.
Sally is born with Ice mana, she can conjure/manipulate ice.
Jarzu is born with sealing mana, he can seal magic and potentially seal magic creatures like demon beasts.
Enchanted items designed around containing demonic mana is also helpful.

Im not sure what you mean by character caps sorry, regardless it wouldn't be hard to adapt most ideas into Aerth in some form or another.
Guns are around but nothing to modern, more single shot rifles and revolvers that rely on magic in some way.

Sounds pretty fast, loose, and fun. Count me in

My character is a combination of a Wild-West Style Lawman (Except for Monsters- particularly undead) and a Plague Doctor (Undead Thing Again) By character Cap I meant Max number I could play

As far as I can tell we have one for Aerth style and one for the naruto version.

Gears Gears I don't wanna speak for you but I assume since you wanna make a gunslinger of sorts you'd rather Aerth over magic ninja?

Sepokku Sepokku What would you lean towards?

Also Japanime Japanime would the Aerth style be a complete buzz kill for your participation? You could adapt some naruto elements fairly easily into it if so. Aerth is a big crazy place with lots of shit that can fit

As for my choice... I'm 50/50 either way

No, certainly not. Just preference is all. I'm down for either.

Good to know, we have enough to start so once we decide on what flavour this is ill make a cs page.

Likewise, a Naruto-themed world would not kill my interest. I just figured to make my preference known, given the choice.

but anyway-- LET'S GOOOOOOO!

I'm gunslinger all the way- but if you allow us to play more than one player I have some ninja types

One or two characters should be fine but the world determines that a bit more. For example in the Aerth style the characters could be soldiers in a army, a respected guild of mercenaries, Demonic specialists hired to assist the kingdom of....
Theres lots of wiggle room Is my point.

The naruto one though is a fair bit more on rails creatively...
Everyone makes a child soldier genin, one or two make a jonin and you serve in a ninja squad for your hidden village
Sprinkle in a host or two.

Im down for whichever option

Seems like Aerth is the go so ill touch on the synopsis before I post a cs page...

Within the lands of Kawlii located in Kingdom of Stelmaine, it is there the guild known as The Phantom Blades resides. Famous even outside Kawlii, the reputation of the phantom blades is one that inspires awe and fear. Though that would be thanks to the previous blades that came before...
This guild has lasted four generations, Stelmaines greatest when it comes to fighting sealing and wielding Demonic power.

Your character should you choose to make one.
Is either...
A new recruit or rook to the Phantom blades, rooks would have been there two or three years. New Recruits have just finished their "survival trials" which last six months. You officially get to join the ranks of the blades...

Your character can be related to previous members, maybe their family has been training them to join the guild that was founded by their ancestor. Or maybe they are talents who arrived wanting to join the famous guild.
Regardless they passed the trials and have spent a month as apart of the guild.

The option to make a veteran will also pop up but I'd like to get the rp on track before throwing more stuff at yall.

Working on my character. Can you start with more than one sealed weapon?

You can have a magic weapon/item or two but I'd prefer Demon sealed weapons to be acquired in game or ran past me first so I can help flesh out the info

Got it. I wasnt sure because the sample(?) character sheet had one already

Sall good, Waboe is the example but I've been at work the last few days and I need to edit it proper. I'm still up in the air if I'll make a recruit or keep Waboe as a experienced rook.

Its Mainly a example of how demon beasts have one or two magic types and fuck with their hosts however possible.

So i chose sealing mana for my character. What would be some starting magic proficiencies they’d know?

Kinda what you put...
Sealing is mainly used in combat to negate someone's magic, more extreme/talented examples would be capture a spell and releasing it elsewhere. Could look like one reflects magic.
Though most would use Sealing mana like it's "anti magic" infuse weapon/arrow with sealing mana and attack the most dangerous magic user.

Outside of Combat sealing mana is one of the ways magic items/weapons are created. Taking mana from a source (living creature or natural environment) and sealing it into whatever.
