BASIC INFO

Name: Jack Rolling
Age: 23
Gender/Pronouns: He/Him
Appearance: Tousled brown hair that always looks like he just rolled out of bed, mischief in his hazel eyes, and a perpetually smug half-smile. Wears ripped jeans, old band tees, and a beat-up denim jacket with dumb patches like “Hotter Than Your Ex” and “Camp Sucks.”
Archetype: The Flirt

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND

Three Personality Traits:
  • Charismatic
  • Immature
  • Emotionally Avoidant

Biggest Fear: Losing people who actually know the real him.
Secret They’re Hiding: Cheated on his girlfriend a few months ago — still hasn’t told anyone, and it’s eating him alive.
Connection to the Group: Grew up with a few of them, but met others through parties or mutual chaos. The type who everyone has a story about.

Packing Must-Have: A Polaroid camera he carries around “for memories,” but he mostly uses it to take terrible selfies.

THE SUPERNATURAL

What’s Haunting Him: Guilt. He hurt someone who actually loved him, and he can’t take it back — the ghost knows this.
How He Reacts to Fear: Deflects with sarcasm or inappropriate jokes until the mask cracks. Then it’s panic city.
How He Might Die: Wanders off alone after cracking one too many jokes at the ghost’s expense — “C’mon, spooky girl, do your worst!”

BASIC INFO

Name: Oliver Bescanson
Age:
22
Gender/Pronouns: Male (He/They)
Appearance:
Soft wavy brown hair, feminine figure and clothes. Brown eyes. 5’ 9”
Troped Archetype: The always wanting to help but too clumsy to actually be of much use (idk if that has an actual name)

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND

Three Personality Traits:
  • Well-Meaning
  • Obedient to a fault
  • Naive
Biggest Fear: Being abandoned
Secret They’re Hiding: He was a was manipulated by an ex into luring someone to their death
Connection to the Group: Meet some at parties and the rest by being introduced by said partygoers
Brief Backstory: Been manipulated and used his entire life by his adopted parents and then was kicked to the streets the second he turned 18. Eventually adter getting hired at 3 different jobs he finally was able to afford an apartment. He met his first ex at one of these jobs who used his closeness to Oliver to beat him out in the position for a promotion. Devastated, Oliver turned to substance abuse(mainly alcohol) to cope. A young man found him in this state and used his almost constant inebriation and unquestioning compliance to coerce Oliver into flirting with some girl at a bar and luring her out into the woods to be brutally axed to near death, his ex making him watch as she slowly bled out. He still remembers the sobering words coming from his ex as he fled the scene, “Why are you running kitten~? You’re the one who brought her here.” This was the wake up call Oliver needed. He vowed from now on to quit drinking and not be so easily manipulated. He quit all his jobs and moved to a completely different city, opting to start over from scratch. Still, like it or not, his shitty home life growing up and the traumatic experience he just witnessed planted a seed inside him. By the time he had a new home and several dead end jobs he had turned from the obedient alcoholic to the pathetically naive child, now with the added bonuses of being overly shy and jumpy. This landed him in his current relationship with his boyfriend who regularly abuses him and takes most if not all of his paychecks. “It’s expensive taking care of a child.” He says as he blows smoke from a cigarette he didn’t have that morning into Oliver’s face.

CAMP DETAILS

Why They Came to Camp: Wanted to get away from his current toxic as hell relationship, though he tells himself it’s just because all his friends are going
Packing Must-Have: A picture of his childhood cat who “haunts him” (actually just his inner voice that he deluded into being its own entity)

THE SUPERNATURAL

What’s Haunting Them: The worry that he will never be able to find someone he can truly trust. Also every so often he sees and hears the girl he helped kill.
How They React to Fear: Freeze completely and usually start to tear up
How They Might Die: Tied to the bottom of a canoe and drowned

BASIC INFO

Name: Andromeda Vasquez
Age: 22
Gender/Pronouns: Cis-Female
Appearance: Andromeda's black, short hair gently tickles the sides of her neck, her eyes brimming with a pale grey-blue that is shadowed with her fears. She reaches for clothing styles that are simple, but plenty loose. She hates feeling sweaty, or just the heat too much in general.
Troped Archetype: The Lone Kitty

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND

Three Personality Traits: Straight-Forward, Soft-Spoken, Cautious
Biggest Fear: Never Waking Up / Killed In Sleep
Secret They’re Hiding: Started smoking at sixteen, and stole a few things from a store when she ran away
Connection to the Group: Brought Diane To The Camp, Met Her Brother As Well

Brief Backstory: Andromeda was born and raised to be the perfect little doll for her family, always the rich one, and always the spoiled. She could snap her fingers at whatever she wanted would appear at her feet. And god she actually hated it. To be equal with others was like a dream ripped away from her. It laid so far away, that the depths of shadows swallow it up. In any school she went to, private or public, there were many eyes on her. There was a time he had ended up smashing a mirror out of anger because of how unfair it was. Unfair to be normal. The worst part was that her parent didn't care. They didn't spend all that much time with her, and were mainly busy with work and getting more money. The stacks of currency irked her.

Just one morning, one very sunny one actually, Andromeda had went to the base floor where the kitchen was. Her father's wallet was left to the side, untouched because he just never needed it. Her mother was waiting for breakfast, and the man owning most of the dollars in the house beside the woman. Every time the black haired girl sat at this table, it always ended up being quiet. But today was not the same. She spoke about how she wanted change, but she was scolded harshly. She shouldn't have been thinking like the poor, her father said with a hard tone. It sent shivers down her spine, to this day. Andromeda decided to speak back, the cool air shifting and making everything a heated mess. A harsh slap snapped her head to the side.

Before she knew it, she was crying. No emotion left on her face, but still tears welled. Angrily walking away, she snatched that wallet she stared at before and decided to pack. Andromeda was able to pay for her school's next fee, and did eventually get a side job. That helped her buy a house, but before that she had stayed with her guy best-friend. Their relationship wasn't much, or, to her that is. He seemed to care, but she was glad she had somewhere to go to.

CAMP DETAILS

Why They Came to Camp: "I can't stand it, even when I'm in my own home. I need this relief."
Packing Must-Have: "To sleep, I bring a sleeping mask. To get my anger out, I smoke."
Campfire Confession: "I can't sleep at night. All I've ever wished for was a good childhood, but now not having one, broke me to bits."

THE SUPERNATURAL

What’s Haunting Them: Any mirrors Andromeda sees might give a shock-she had once put her anger out on the glass, a reminder how sharp her parents were.
How They React to Fear: "First step; try to calm yourself down and evaluate the situation. If I can't do that, I run. If I can, I fight the fear."
How They Might Die: For many nights does Andromeda wake up continuously with heart attacks. But when will the time come for her to never stop dreaming?

Name: Annette "Ann" May
Age: 19
Gender/Pronouns: Female
Appearance: (fc)
Troped Archetype: The Rude Popular Girl
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND
Three Personality Traits:
Snobby, Insecure, Passionate
Biggest Fear: Humiliation
Secret They’re Hiding: That she stole money from her father.
Connection to the Group: (Open for ideas!!)
Brief Backstory:
Ann was born to an alcoholic mother and a deadbeat dad who never cared for her. She craved love and attention from both but neither gave her a second look. After her father left, her mother quickly remarried to a wealthy businessman but gave her the attention she oh so craved. Her father taught her the ropes of society, telling her how to strike a deal with someone or scam a person out of their belongings. She became quite the manipulator, ruining lives at a very young age. She'd get out of detention with a few quick words easily. She wasn't naturally pretty, but with all the expensive cosmetics her mother purchased she couldn't pass up the offer. Middle school and high school went by like crazy blur, soon enough ending with her at home with a diploma in her hand. How did she get here? Now, lost in the new world she's been thrown into, she can't disappoint her family's name but what can she do?

Niña, cuando yo muera
No llores sobre mi tumba

Name: Danny Chente Maridueña
Age: 24 years old
Gender/Pronouns: cis-gender male; he/him
Appearance: thick scruffy, black hair, piercings, and a bad slouch.
Troped Archetype: The Horror Expert/Enthusiast

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND
Three Personality Traits: Sharp-tongued, non-chalant, calculated.
Biggest Fear: Becoming the reflection of his late-brother.
Secret They’re Hiding: He's the reason his brother's dead; Danny never owned up to it in fear that his family and his brother's past would catch up to him.
Connection to the Group: Open to ideas; likely would've been dragged there. (Maybe as a way to cope with his brother's recent death?)
Brief Backstory:

“La tristeza es siempre el legado del pasado; los arrepentimientos son dolores de la memoria.”

The unfortunate son, the lesser known; Danny had always fallen into the shadow of his brother, no matter what. And maybe, such circumstances had become the catalyst of the man that he is now. He spent his youth chasing recognition, competing with someone who never had to try.

Danny watched it all from the background, just like he always had. The obedient son, the one who kept his head down. But no matter how far his brother sank, their parents still held onto him like he was something worth admiring. Why? Because he brought home good money. Enough to fix the sink, pay a bill, buy something nice for their mother. They never asked where it came from. They didn’t care. The money gave them a reason to be proud—and Danny, who never caused trouble, never asked for anything, was just... there. A placeholder. A shadow.
He sought peace in the grotesque; the world of horror and it's abnormalities. Beneath the calm brewed the violent nature of resentment; it silenced him, made him burrow into the comforts of nothingness, made him numb.

Resentment doesn’t always look like anger. Sometimes it looks like silence. Like a quiet thought you feed for too long. One night, Danny acted on it. He tipped off one of his brother’s rivals—just a vague detail, a time, a place. He didn’t expect anything to come from it; maybe a few punches, some threats, but never a closed curtain for the next chapter to never come.

His brother borrowed Danny’s car that day. Didn’t ask. Just took it like he always did. And when Danny got the call—when he found out what happened—everything froze.

They found his brother in the backseat of that very car.

Mangled. Beaten. Bloodied. Lifeless.

The sight seared itself into Danny’s memory, a still frame he could never unsee. No amount of bleach, scrubbing, or therapy could erase what was left behind—not from the car, not from his mind. And he never told anyone. Not about the tip-off. Not about the guilt. His parents cried for their lost son like he was a fallen hero. Danny stood in the background, like always, carrying the weight of it all alone. Even in grief, he was only wrapped in the arms of loneliness.

He carried the secret--no, he buried it, letting the weight of it twist into something heavy and permanent. That guilt changed him. It quieted the part of him that used to beg for attention and turned it into something darker, more inward. He stopped competing. Though, competing was all he had known.

CAMP DETAILS

Why They Came to Camp: Forced to go(?) Could be changed.
Packing Must-Have: His good luck "charm"--rather, given his close analyses of horror movies, a folding utility knife: practical, useful, somewhat lightweight, and durable.
Campfire Confession: "I'm glad that pinche pendejo is dead." He still can't bring himself to say it outright.

THE SUPERNATURAL

What’s Haunting Them: Finding his brother's body--rather, imagining himself in that position; what torture did he go through?
How They React to Fear: A mixture of fight and flight.
How They Might Die: Mangled, maybe even looking the same way his brother died; possibly tortured? Something to feel the same horrors his brother went through.

PERSONAL DETAILS
Name: Ellis "Ozzie" Osbourne
Age: 23 years old
Gender/Pronouns: Genderfluid, they/them
Appearance: With so many years on the road, Ozzie is all burn, freckles and previously a burst of red hair that has been unceremoniously chopped short now. An old injury spreads across their face, visible scarring even after multiple years. Practicality has filled their wardrobe, with heavy cargo boots, flannels and heavy duty jackets replacing their previous outfits. An odd preference for bandanas has resulted in a collection of various bandanas with various designs.
Troped Archetype: The Dropout

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND
Three Personality Traits: Laidback, casual and avoidant.
Biggest Fear: Heights and Confrontation
Secret They’re Hiding: A crumbling cliffside, a sickening crack, and a mandatory camping trip that resulted in more then one hospitalization. They see themselves at fault for not being unable to help more.
Connection to the Group: Open to ideas however with their love of nature and camping, they definitely jumped on the idea instantly of the camping itself.
Brief Backstory:

The spotlight had never shone as bright as it did on Ozzie as it did during their senior year. Acceptances to conservatories across the continent, scholarships awaiting their hand and a bright future that could have only been paved by the hard work they had been at for the years beforehand. They were going to shine — after all, success was written in their future in bold print. All that remained was to tick the boxes, walk the stage, accept the diploma and fly into the sunset with the proud smiles of their parents seared into their mind.

Maybe that why it all went wrong. It could be said that they went out like an old star. Combusted. Burned out. Flew too close to the sun and went tumbling towards rock-bottom engulfed in flames. In the span of only a handful of weeks after returning from a camping trip that was hit by a storm and hospitalized them, and others, Ozzie was ticking the wrong box. The box that signified that they were declining all offers, dropping out of school and hitting the road without a diploma and a transcript covered in perfect scores trampled in the ground. It was almost impressive at the speed at which they burned bridges, but it was all done with a smile on their face and a reassurance that they were going to 'see the world and find themselves.'

And so away they went. Guitar tucked under their arm, sketchbook in the other, and a old van that they had pulled out of an old junkyard. They bounce around seasonal jobs from being a ranger to watching for fires from the deep of the forest. It's clear as day that they are running, but Ozzie brushes it off.

CAMP DETAILS
Why They Came to Camp: Camping is their jam.
Packing Must-Have: After multiple years on the road their guitar has been replaced for a ukulele. Between that, their sketchbook, and their various bandanas they are set.
Campfire Confession: "I destroyed my friend's future."

THE SUPERNATURAL
What’s Haunting Them: The image of their best-friend falling off a cliff. If only they had held them tighter, if only they had tried harder. Their best friend lived but had to give up their future. So they did the same.
How They React to Fear: A mixture of fight and flight.
How They Might Die: Fall off a cliff. Possibly in the process of saving someone once again.

BASIC INFO

Name: Alexa “Lex” Valdez
Age: 22
Gender/Pronouns: She/hers
Appearance:
AD_4nXdC14GSVJB3z7Y3rFAERcrRHtx6fBBNIkanR8xR9EvsVcWhyQtp9LfYA2b5F5Y-cQBFHufsRe_CEJgRk-DcGJa4ZyHC0SYt6Ul4dRx7n8VNLe9V8Cvlfst3Y7nrzAZwja8sb0-_Mg

Troped Archetype: The Goth

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND

Three Personality Traits: Creative, kind, socially awkward
Biggest Fear: Fire/Being burned alive
Secret They’re Hiding: She accidentally set her parents on fire (more details will be revealed later)
Connection to the Group: Familial, school, work (part-time at a movie theater but also sells handmade jewelry and stuff on the side online)
Brief Backstory: Alexa was born in the suburbs with her parents, but when the fire happened, the fourteen-year-old had to move in with her dad’s twin sister. She spent the next few years living with her auntie Iris in an unfamiliar, bustling city. Even after she graduated and started attending college, Alexa continued to be financially supported by her auntie. Their relationship wasn’t great at first as they were always fighting about this and that while still grieving from the tragedy, but now things were a little better. They live almost like roommates, but it worked well for them. Then things changed when Iris’s boyfriend moved in, Alexa was very uncomfortable since he was mean to her when Iris wasn’t around (he would say things that insinuated Alexa was a leech and had a victim complex). After things started to get serious between them, he dropped hints that Alexa should move out. She didn’t want to cause them problems and strain the relationship with her auntie since she was paying for Alexa’s college tuition, so Alexa suggested she will attend some camp to give them some space. She’ll also take her time there to make a plan for when she returns. What could go wrong…

CAMP DETAILS

Why They Came to Camp: She is half-forced to go, half-escaping
Packing Must-Haves: A photo keychain with her parents and Alexa when she was a toddler; they are at the zoo, and it has little Alexa on her dad’s shoulders while her mom is holding Alexa’s little hand up to wave at the camera and her vape
Campfire Confession: “I miss them so f*cking much… I wish the fire took me instead…”

THE SUPERNATURAL

What’s Haunting Them: Guilt; the memory of her parent’s house burning, their ear-piercing screams
How They React to Fear: (Fight, flight, freeze, freak out, etc.) Freeze at first but immediately run away
How They Might Die: Alexa goes looking for anything useful in a cabin, gets trapped inside somehow and is frantically trying to break out as she feels the flames behind her begin to grow, she then cries out to her parents as the fire consumes her
