First off I have a few simple rules:
1) No smut.
2) I roleplay in paragraph style. Please try to keep it to more than one sentence.
3) Reply when you can, but no pressure, I understand life is busy.
4) Anyone can stop the rp at anytime for any reason, just state it so nobody is left hanging.
So I have a few ideas I just want to put out there for anyone who's interested.
The first one is probably the simplest. It's after the movies/book but kind of an au where everyone lives. Thorin, Fili, and Kili are seriously injured but they will survive. Bilbo decides to stay with them in the mountain. All of the dwarves recover and Thorin takes the throne. He, however, falls under the dragon sickness and Bilbo has to snap him out of it. Another fun bit for this would be to have them adopt Frodo, but this could be optional. This is by far my least developed idea.
Second is a modern au where Thorin's rich (like an actor, writer, something of that sort) but he doesn't like all the publicity that comes with it so he leads a fairly solitary life. He hires Bilbo to take care of his huge house (do all of the cooking, cleaning, gardening, grocering, that sort of stuff), but one day Bilbo gets overwhelmed by paparazzi and reporters and comes back to Thorin's house all disheveled. Once again a pretty simple idea I wouldn't mind more input from others to make it more fun.
This last one is probably my favorite. A Thief!Bilbo and sort of rough around the edges but overall good guy Thorin. Bilbo is desperate after losing his job and home and turns to begging for money. One day he can't scrounge up enough money for a meal. He's very hungry and decides to make an amateur break into an apartment (Thorin's) and is able to find some bread but goes to butter it and the knife his the bottom of the butter dish. Bilbo kinda freaks out and the knife hits the floor and wakes up Thorin. Thorin kinda just sits Bilbo down, though he is certain to let Bilbo know that he has a gun and will call the police if this guy ends up being dangerous. Bilbo explains his situation, though he is very frightened and really didn't mean any harm. Fili and Kili also live with Bilbo and basically convince Thorin to take him in because Thorin can't say no to his nephews. Thorin has one condition for Bilbo, he has to get a job in order to stay with them. He doesn't want any dead weight.
Anyway, those are my ideas, if you have any that you'd like to share I'd love to hear them!
