Hello hello and welcome to my interest check! I go by the name of cav and am very happy to present my first check for 1x1's in too long of a time. Once you have read all of my rules and requirements and taken a peek over plotlines please feel free to reach out to me through private messages with any interest! I only ask that you present your character ideas and plotline/interest if you aren't interested in any of my pre-made plots. I predominantly use discord for ooc but will only provide that once we've established a plot. I'm equally comfortable sticking to this site for ooc but I may be a bit less active! ** writing samples are appreciated but not necessary!

Taking place in alternate modern day Earth where supernatural beings live alongside humans there has come to be in place a system for categorizing supernatural creatures based on their 'potential danger level'. Character B is a member of law enforcement sent to a new precinct to aid in catching a serial killer that has been targeting Predator-class beings. Character A* is the unlikely killer that works in an unassuming job alongside law enforcement and is hiding a secret about their true identity. A cat and cat chase roleplay tying in government uprising and grey moral characters pushing the limit of life for justice.

In a world set a hundred years in the future, various humans have begun to be born or 'infected' with supernatural abilities that people blame on mysterious artifacts turning up in ancient temples or crash landing on Earth. Teams are formed with the goal of retrieving these artifacts and keeping the main population safe. Character A and Character B are both members of one of these teams and tasked with a retrieval from a temple lost to time. Unbeknownst to them, a separate organization is also preparing to take control of the artifact and will stop at nothing to ensure their success.

Is It Really You?

Character A and Character B knew each other as children, made promises under stars and built homes in trees together. They ran away to hide under bridges and fight against the world until they were forced to say goodbye, a promise to keep in touch fading out with lessening letters and emails that never got sent. Now, against all odds they meet again at an event they've both traveled to and for three days receive the chance to say all the words they had to stop saying.

Character A and Character B do not get along. For one reason or another they have slighted the other in a way considered irreparable. Unfortunately they're both incredibly good at what they do: steal. A job has come up, an irresistible heist that beckons the best theives to take their turn spinning the roulette board only to find these enemies face to face with one another. Money and fame hinge on this job given by a shady benefactor and now it's on them to get through it or burn at their own hands.
Why, exactly, is the art they were meant to steal glowing though?

Since the 1990's the Earth has become a place overrun and eventually dominated by supernatural beings. Humans have been pushed to the brink of extinction and live primarily in city encampments as their last scrape at survival. Character A is one of those humans, living their life with gritted teeth until one day they find themselves taking shelter in Character B's apartment. Character B is a supernatural being and it's up to them to decide what to do with this new intruder.

On the steps of a fantastical castle in a middle-fantasy world Character A is a child of royalty exhausted of the life and strain and equally having an uncanny appearance to Character B, a peasant working day and night to make ends meet. After a chance encounter the two swap places and furthermore the love interests that came from Character C and Character D, royalty and pauper of their own regard. Caught up in their own schemes of romance and deception they must pull off not only the largest scheme of succession but the hearts of their love interests being corrupted by government officials.

other plots.While the plots listed on the 'plots' tab are ideas that I've thought up I am incredible open to almost all and any scenarios! I love to hear about plots you have that may have fallen through or something you'd even like to merge with one of mine. Alongside that if you've got generic ideas or pairings please feel free to throw those ideas at me and I'll respond if they peak my interest as well.
restrictions.Falling in line with standard RPNation rules please do not approach me if you're wanting to roleplay something that has been banned! I will not entertain anyone attempting to break rules onsite and would rather not go down the rabbit hole.
At the same time be respectful to me as you would expect me to be towards yourself! If for some reason I don't reply to you or take awhile don't take it personally, I'm incredibly busy most of the time and am doing this as a hobby where I can use my down time to shake characters around in their tiny jars.
