Our story will be simple. Your character will be a new Grimm. Mine the veteran. Together we will get you through the general training. But from there, the world ends, we eat tacos, WAHHHH. I would really like a sandbox situation.
- To become a Grimm, a mortal person must die before they are destined to do so. It is an exceedingly rare occurrence, 1 in 500,000,000 chance.
- The individual, in their exceptionally rare circumstance is offered a choice.
- They can continue on into the hereafter, be that what is may. All choices and actions have consequences.
- Or they can return to the World of the Living. If they do, they return as a Grimm.
- Grimms are the agents in the world that keep the magical and non-magical separate. They protect humanity from the things that "go bump in the night", while at the same time protecting the supernatural world from humanity.
- All Grimms have special abilities unique to them, based on their own souls.
- All Grimms however are able to see through the Veil, and supernatural creatures appear as they are.
- Supernatural creatures appear human to all mortals. This can of course be negated in many, mannnnyyy ways.

- Every new Grimm is partnered with a veteran so they can learn the ropes and fully grasp their new reality.
