The Great Escape [ Closed ][ Finished ]

[Adorra]

Lilly sits alone in her containment room waiting for her care taker to come in while she waits in this cold empty white room chained up to the wall by her ankle she plays with her toes to keep her entertained.

 

[drummerboi]

Connor egun to walk towards teh laratory outside her cell. Of course her cell was sceled so he couldn't see her this was the first time he is ever giog to talk to Lilly. He went towards his station and went to the mic "Subject 18 good morning I am Connor i'll be taking care of you for now on" he said as he then ejected what seemed to be a little droid that the voice was coming from. "hello there" He said cntroling th bot so it waves. "I know what your thinking. Why are you all tied up right it's to keep you safe that's all" he said as the robot dose the actions to his words.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly is a little scared and stands up and crys missing her old care taker. "Where is my mommy stranger?" Her shackle makes a small sound as it scrapes along the floor once she stood up.

 

[drummerboi]

"Your mummy can't be here anymore she decided to help more children that need her..these children are sick so she's going to take care of them. It might be a long time before she come's back though" the little robot said Connor knew what really happend she was fired a couple of days back for nearly aiding her escape. The robot went into a little box near the enterence of her cell and brought a book for her. "today we will be practacing the alphabet. Do you want to learn the alphabet subject 18?" he said with a almost kid's show host tone.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly starts throwing a tantrum and stomping her feet. "No! I don't wanna learn my letters I want my mommy! I want her, I want her, I want her!"


Lilly starts jumping up and down in her fit of rage and kicks over the robot which then drops the book to the floor. Then Lilly goes on to say. "I'm Lilly not a stupid number!" It seemed like there was no end to her fit.

 

[drummerboi]

Connor learnt some phychology from his collage, with thing's like this he just waited until she stopped leave her alone to reflect on what she's done. In silance more less there was no need for a naughty corner because she was already in one. He just sighed to himself off mic and decided to wait until evrything is silant in Lilly's cell room he wondered if she would pick up the robot to see if it's okay since he spoke threw it.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly finally calms down and sits down and picks up the robot and soflty says. "I'm sorry Mr. Connor." She puts the robot on its feet and picks up the book. "I'm ready to learn now." She holds the book close to her chest and waited for the tiny robot to speak again.

 

[drummerboi]

"I understand that your not used to change but it's best to move on to whatever is next okay. Now open the book and turn to page one A" the robot said as he pointed to the letter "A is for apple and a apple is from a tree" He said as he then pointed to the tree. He knew later on her IQ would skie rocket but for now he can teach her the basics "can you tell me another thing that start's with the Letter A" He said looking at her threw the robot. Over time thay gone threw the whole alphabet, he did remember it was her 10 birthday....Tht was the time the killer instinct comes in so Connor can never really see lilly in person now "Oh lilly i have a suprise for you close your eyes okay" he said as the robot went into the dark.

Lilly covers her eyes and smiles a big smile. "Oh I love surprises will I finally be able to see my Dad?!" Lilly was at an age where she stopped calling people mommy or daddy and their relationship has grown enough to where she felt he wasn't a stranger and she just really wanted human contact all she had was the robot and even though she grew fond of it and even gave it a name the cold metal just doesn't cut it for conections. At this point since of her killer instincts were getting stronger her chain has gotten shorter and she knew that it was for safety but that didn't seem to stop her from being excited for things.

Suddnly after a while silance filled the room. All but one little flickering orange light in the darkness suddenly a single voice begun to sing "Happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you~ happy birthday dear Lilly happy birthday to you~" the robot sung as well as connor in the office. "I made this myself the day before sorry if it isnt that great" It was a chocolate cake with a single candle on it "I maniged to pass it from security thanks to a fraind of mine who owed me a favore.." he said while making the robot place the cake down near here "Happy birthday sweet pea" he said smieling in his office.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly opens her eyes and sees the cake "Oh...." Lilly's face went from happy to disappointment in a blink of an eye, "Thanks, I guess." Lilly watches the flame flicker with her ruby red eyes and just stares at it and thinks to herself whats the point in wishing it wont come true any way then she pinching the flame with one of her vectors and watches the smoke rise from the candle.

 

[drummerboi]

"Dr Connor" One of the government officials said. As Connor switched off the mic therefore switching off the robot " It is Lilly's birthday is it not" He said as Connor noded "well...we need to test if her instinct's have kicked in yet go see her if you die well we can just send another in" The official said as the door's in her cell begun to open. Steam Flowed threw the cell as the doors finaly opend. The steam coverd the room as silance filled the air with nothing but foot steps heading towards lilly's direction. Connor was scared yet happy he was able to see lilly..but he was horrified if she would kill him.

Lilly ignored the door thinking they are just sending in food because she knew this was routine that three times a day the doors will open for her meal and sometimes snacks if she asked for it as the door opened she played with her toes like she use to to when she was younger when she was bored. This ended up becoming a habit of Lilly's even when she wasn't bored she just liked playing with her toes.

"Hmhm always playing with your toes i always thought that was a funny little habbit of yours" Connor said as he continued to walk towards her . the steam soon faded away as his face begun to emerge from the steam "Hello lilly i know that eather two things are going to happen and im not afraid of them eather" He said as he walked towards her and knelt down he was close enough to touch her now "As long as i got to see you once. My little Lilly the little girl i once knew is growing up" he said placing a hand on her cheek "My little princess" he said holding back tears.

Lilly's eyes tear up seeing the one person she wanted to see for so long and gets a big smile on her face. "Dad?" She opens her arms to hug him as warm tears run down her cheeks being so happy and overwhelmed. "Is that really you?" She wonders as she keeps her arms out to hug him this is the one thing she would have wished for and have been wishing for on the past couple of birthdays which was to finally hug another human being and seeing her dad for the first time even though he isn't her real dad but he was the one who took care of her.

Yes Lilly it's me" he said as he looked at her he put a towle over her to make her decent and he finaly hugged her. Hjust sat there and hugged the only thing that came close to him having a daughter "listen to me sweet pea whatever that voice is saying that voice saying to kill. Don't listen to it you are mroe then that okay you are more of a person then just killing okay." He said continuing to hug her. "It's okay you can let it out now.. all the emotions you want to feel just for this momment you can let them all out" He said "as long as you don't hirt anyone" he said as he continued to hug her closing his eyes.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly gently squeezes him while then hug. "But the voices are my friend Dad, but I will try to be good." She blushes slightly seeing her handsome dad then looks over toward the door as the dark voices say to her [ Dark voice: "Run Lilly, you know you want to they will just kill you here anyway for not doing what they ask don't you want to be free?"] as the voices say this to her she puts her hands on her head and talks to herself " No I won't I have to be good for Dad, I won't do it please stop."

"shhhshhshshshshh it's okay Lilly it's okay...Hush little darling don't say a word daddy's going to give you the whole wide world and if the people want to moan daddy's going to send them a mocking bird...." he sung as he was trying to comfert her. He waned to do all the thing's thay never done sung lullaby's play hopscotch evrything. The officals were amazed a human and a dicloniuse having family relations this was a good peace of evidence for them to use. Connor continued to stroke his daughters long pink hair in order to comfert her.

Lilly's voices finally stopped from him calm lullaby as he strokes her hair she looks at the chain connecting her to the wall and notices that there was a weak spot in the chain from it's age and she saw this as an opportunity to escape she slowly reaches to her chain to try not to alert him. She felt as though the voices were right this man did not care for her she is just and experiment to him and if she doesn't do what they say they are going to dispose of her and move on to the next one that will listen. Lilly knew she had to get out it was now or never for her.

The goverment offical along with two guards came into the room "Alright boy's take him away" Connor turned to face them "what what are you doing Get off me!" he said as he was being draged away "sorry sir but we go evrything we need" one of the solders said. Connor was mrtified he knew what was going to happen next "No....NO! You can't do this you can't do this to her!! She's only a child!" he said as he punched the officer as he tried to get to the release button at the far side of the room "Stop him now!" eh official said as he ordered the solder's to fire. Thay did so fire at hi multiple times in the stomach.... Connor laid there on the floor couching up blood he looked at his littl lilly "Lilly...." he said as he secretly had another release button in his pocket as he crawled up to her "you...*cough's* be....a good girl okay... if people shown kindness to you..*coughs blod* Show it to them back....please" He said as he placed a hand on his daughters cheek "Left pokect okay"

Lilly's ruby red eyes filled up with tears and she looked at the guards and she stood up, as she stood up she hung her head with her hair slightly covering her face. She had a feeling she could rescue this man his injuries didn't look too serious as she wonders to herself why do I want to save him she noticed one of the buttons he pushed released her from her chain. Finally being free she picked up Connor with her arms and whispers to him. "Don't worry I will get you help." After this she starts her run towards the door which kept her imprisoned for so many years. As she ran she felt that they would try to shoot her down to stop her so she used her vectors as a shield for both her and him but was careful enough to not touch him so he doesn't get infected with this genetic defect. As she ran trying to figure out what to do she then wonder if he was used as a set up to see if she would kill they probably wanted her to kill but she just couldn't do that to Connor.

Connor was dying at a fast rate he was shot i the lung's heart and intestiens he was going threw huge amount's of internal bleeding he was nearly entering caridac arrest he looked at lilly "Lilly..." he said gripping her arm "it's to late for me now *cough's blood* in my office there's a black bag for you take it..inside it there is something called money Use that money to buy thing's you need to survive clothes water food anything you can..there's no point in rescuing me..Thay shot me enough times to cause me to go into cardia arrest...it means my heart's going to stop any momment now okay" He said looking t her covering his mouth as he coughed as he saw the blood on it he looked at her. the only thing he had for a daughter "lilly..have a good life away from this okay" He said as he placed his hand on her cheek one final time before his hand went limp.

 

[Adorra]

Lilly gently shakes him trying to wake him up as warm tears run down her face. "Come on...its time to wake up." She smiles as she continues to cry as she heads to the office just like he said, and on her journey she continues talking to him trying to get him up. Lilly was still young and didn't know much about the world and how cruel it can be so death was new to her and she didn't understand she makes it to the office and seems like she has lost them only for a little bit she closes the door and slides down the door just shaking as she cried she knew she had to be quiet. She just held her dad and gently puts him down and whispers. "you're not going to wake up are you?" She looks herself over and she has a couple of grazes from the bullets that made it through her vectors she guesses that she needs more practice but this is the first time she had to use them for this. She gets up and walks to the black bag and picks it up she kneels down in font of Connor's body and gently kisses his forehead and whispers. "I'll never forget you." She stands back up, kicks open the door and continues on with her escape.

The guards begun to burst threw the two doors, and thay just kept on coming thay maniged to surround her A man with brown hair and glasses begun to walk towards her "Subjet 18 if you wish to live go back to your cell. I know you must be upset about Dr Andrew's death but were trying to keep you safe from the crultys of this world you have witnessed today. Humanity isn't ready for creaturues like you... and if you choose to proceed we will have to drag you back by the hair if we have to" he said keeping his distance away from her making sure he dosn't get caught in her vectors. The guards held there guns to her thers' n way she could block all there bullets

 

[Adorra]

"NO! I refuse!" She stood up tall as she wipes her tears from her eyes. "You are just going to kill me." Lilly looks around with her eyes to try to find something, anything, she was surrounded and needed to find an exit but she couldn't find anything there were no windows or no doors she was stuck and felt like she had failed her mission to show the world we are not monsters. [ I'm sorry father I have failed. ] She though as she continues to look around for anything useful.
