Name: Rydel Vulred
Species: Elf
Nation: Nachiili
Character Description: Rydel is a stern member of the 12. He lives by the law and is a keeper of the law. He possesses a great wealth of knowledge and seeks to distribute it to those who are willing to learn. His wisdom mostly focuses on solving issues through proper reasoning and deduction. He has a realistic view of the world and hopes to bring logic to the forefront of a chaotic world.
Personality: Rydel is a logical man and while many consider him stern he can be very favorable towards those who share a similar mindset with him. He will retaliate against anyone who seeks to belittle others as he sees no logic behind such actions. He believes in being kind and treating people with respect. However if people offer no respect he may simply distance himself from such people as he believes them to be a negative influence in his life.
Back story: Rydel grew up in the order like all the other elves he was educated on matters of raising and caring for dragons. He took to dragon care with an extra fervor and sought to protect dragons wherever he could. If a new hatchling dragon were to be accidently dropped you would soon after find Rydel present scolding the wrongdoer and checking the hatchling for any injuries. This fervor and care made him a prime candidate to become a rider. When he came of age to qualify as a rider he was bonded with a dragon almost immediately. An ice dragon named Iris that shared many of his own tendencies and views. Their bond was superb and they became nigh inseparable for many years. Rydell went on to become a delegate for Human Dragon relations smoothing out discrepancies that arise due to peoples and dragons misunderstandings of one another.
Strength: Logic, Magic, Negotiating
Weakness: Very stringent on rules.the rules are never to be broken and will never break the rules himself. While his magic is very powerful some spells may take quite a while to use and will drain significant power from Rydell. Rydell has a bad knee from a previous injury with dragon rider, he can move no faster than a fast walk without pain
Superpower: Very strong magic user

Name: Iris
Type: Ice dragon
Character Description: Iris is among the largest of all ice dragons with a couple scars on her face. Her scales are primarily white with a hint of blue starting to show down her shank and turning solid blue at her feet and claws.
Personality: Iris does not joke, Iris does not laugh at jokes, Iris talks about things that are important and would rather hear a lecture on examining fecal matter then hear your joke. She is oriented solely towards helping the celestial order thrive. Iris does have a soft spot for the hatchlings in the celestial order or any younglings for that matter.
Back story: Iris as a very young hatchling fell down an ice chute cutting her face badly. Her mother was able to free her from the chute but took her to a hatchery to get her wounds cared for. Iris remembers none of these actual events as she was too young but as she grew was told the story several times of the elves who worked to stop the bleeding and fix her face. While she still carries scars she survived the ordeal. It did leave her with a curiosity about the order. When she came of age to be able to travel on her own she went to investigate one of these nearby hatcheries. She watched for a week curious as to what happened inside the buildings. Eventually her curiosity overcame her and she went to see for herself. She was greeted albeit cautiously by a group of elves who answered all her questions. One elf in particular recognized Iris as the dragon they had worked to save many years ago from her injury. This began her association with the celestial order and eventually she found herself looking for a rider of her own.

Weakness (besides the ones already listed): Iris lacks the speed of smaller ice dragons. She has lower stamina than most ice dragons.
