A star can't shine without darkness
History

In the beginning there were five races that ultimately formed the mortal race. These dive races lived in harmony under the six deities.

The deities are beings created by Kul, the goddess of light, mana, creation and all things pure. The six deities were created to keep the mortal race away from Darqus, the god of darkness, destruction and all things evil as he wanted to corrupt the mortals.

For a time the five races lived in peace until the deities found a troubling threat. The nephillum, a hybrid race of demons and angels would soon attack the mortals in search of the dark god.

It was decided that the mortals would be taught combat and the two joint god and goddess would be split so their power could be used by a mortal.

This was how the Galactic Order was formed.

When the nephillum came, it was chaos and destruction. With the deities and the power of the two gods at their disposal, mortals stood a chance but the nephillum were powerful and many in numbers.

The war raged on for five hundred years, with Darqus and Kul being passed down.

Before long, Darqus began to corrupt his host. By feeding him lust for power, greed and selfishness, the dark god introduced the universe to The Fallen Place.

The Fallen Place is where the consciousness goes while the body is transformed into a monster and goes on a rampage.

In a last ditch effort to stop Darqus from taking over the host, the vessel of Kul killed him.

However it was too late. Now others began to crave the power of Darqus and so began the fight for the dark god's power. This is how dark mana was first introduced.

By giving in to ones dark desires they could tape into dark mana. Constantly doing so is how one enters the Fallen Place. One can escape the Fallen Place with a strong will, thus creating a Darkness Tamer.

The deities were disgusted with the mortals as the fought and even murdered each other for Darqus's power. They soon faded from history and are in hiding till this day.

It was then that the keeper of Kul decided to hide the dark god in a galaxy far away.

This had earned her enemies so she fled from fear of having to kill another of her people.

She died but before passing, she releases Kul to drift in space.

Kul and Darqus faded from memory as decades passed. The mortal race split itself, with half the vympiri that believed in Dracula turning on the other races. The cullumbi did the same. Some races formed up to make a ruthless gang known as Blackknife.

Centuries went by when the goddess of light and the god of darkness found each other once more. The joined together again and floated through space.

Some time later, the two landed on a planet with intelligent life. However the life forms were ignorant to the two gods.

Darqus took advantage. He corrupted the beings with ease. They soon became drunk on his power and he knew in time he'd have possession of his vessel. In time he would have possession of a whole race.

The beings sent Kul to drift through space.


When mankind was first created they only knew the basics of survival. Eat, reproduce, sleep, ect. It wasn't until the arrival of the goddess Kul fell from sky and awakened mana for the human race as well as showing there is more to life than survival.

Mankind slowly started to advance. Before long they used mana to make life and work easier. Mankind worshiped the goddess and built a shrine for her to live in.

Some time had passed when a human found the first dragon Queen hidden in a cave. The Queen told the human of a threat that is soon come and bestowed a gift upon mankind to help preserve the land. When the human's wife gave birth he noticed in the first few months, the child started to grow dragon scales on its skin. In time the child developed the ability to cover certain parts of its body entirely in dragon scales. Much later this gift spread throughout humanity.

Decades later, a small spacepod fell from the sky. Inside, a infant. The tiny creature was unlike anything ever seen, with midnight black skin and a face that resembled a dinosaur. The human race took in the creature and raised it, not knowing the danger it harbored inside.

At the same time, the vympiri came to earth lead by, Dracula, in search of the goddess, Kul. The lord of vympiri desired the power of Kul to give his people manaand color at birth. The race stayed in the shadows, abducting humans who have yet to adobt to the art of combat.

More time passed before they came. The Darkness attacked with ferocious might. Mankind was not prepared. The Darkness resembled the child that fell from the sky all those years ago. They had claim to reclaim what dwelled in the child, the dark god, Darqus. The vympiri was forced out of the shadows as they too were attacked by the Darkness.

Things looked bleak for mankind who was still new to combat. They were pushed back and extinction was close at hand. It wasn't until the goddess of light spilt life force between four humans. These four humans each took hundreds of their people and scattered, hiding in what is now the four great nations. With the four human host of Kul, mankind could fight back. It was years later when the final battle approached. By this time, humans had an understanding of how to battle with mana. Some even invented weapons athat utilezed mana but it still wasn't enough. It was a feirce battle butbit looked as though the Four Maidens would lose. In a last ditch effort, three of the madiens gave their shared portion of Kul to one. The process killed them but in the end, humanity won. They had driven the remaining Darkness off their planet.

The lone survivor of the Four Madiens, Ahsha Nadirè, founded The Order of Knights. The Order was task with safe gaurding humanity and preparing for the return of the Darkness. Kul would continue to be passed down from Nadirè to Nadirè.

As technology continued to advanced, humankind started to understand Darqus. They wish to give him a host but humans could not weild contain the dark god without dying a horrible death.

It was then that Biohumans was created. These humans created by extracting life force from two compatible beings were made to find a suitable host as well as help prepare for the return of the Darkness.

Many years later, the Darkness returned and after a large battle, were defeated thanks to the Galactic Order and a large sacrifice.

The planet of Lore.

Now the human race have a new planet to call home and they take their seat in the Galactic Order of Knights. Now they fight against evil thought the galaxy.

Races

Humans - regular humans. At least as regular can get when more than half of the population can weild magic.

Drakon - dragon/human hybrids. They are more human but have dragon scales all over their body. They excell in dragon transformations. A pact was made between a dragon Queen and a human around the time mankind gained sentience.

Biohumans - humans created in a lab. By dissecting the life force of two compatible lovers, the best traits can be pulled out and while using the life force to create an artificial body. This method of reproduction was created long ago to reproduce faster and give mankind an edge against the vympiri.

Darkness Tamers - Darkness Tamers are those who have entered the Fallen Place and escaped. The Fallen Place is were one's consciousness goes when they continuously use dark mana. Their body becomes a monster that onky knows destruction while their mind is surrounded in Darkness. If one manages to escape the Fallen Place through a very strong will, they will be granted a boost in power. The average master Knight would be boosted to a low class divine knighy. Only humans, Fae and Lycomorphs may become Darkness Tamers. Darkness Tamee are driven made by dark mana and their selfish desires, only retain som e control.

Vympiri - a vampiric like race that feeds on the life force of sentient beings. The vympiri have split into two factions. Those who follow Alucard and fight in the Galactic Order, and those who follow Dracula and sees all other races as inferior. These beings are white as snow and are unable to use mana(magic) at birth. They must drain life force and eventually reach full maturity to use the magic systems. They also gain color to themselves. Even without mana they are super strong, fast, and durable with heightend senses that increases as they continue to drain life force. Once they reach full maturity they must continue to drain life force as to not be weakened. They can use dark mana once they reach full maturity.

Cullumbi - a race that are similar to zombies. They borrow heavily from the Frankenstein design where stitches decorats their bodies. They must feed on the flesh of other sentient creatures to consume life force and keep their body parts from rotting off. Very few serve in the Galactic Order while the rest resort to criminal activity. On their home planet their are three bosses and a king each with their von turf. The king trains one of the bosses to succeed him.

Lycomorph - a race of shape shifters. They have a natural transformation craft and can easily by identifyed by the features tagt hint at their transformations.

Agnelli - a race of angels that have an affinity for crafting mana into light. They are normally good hearted but there are a few exceptions.

Fae - a race of faires. They are divided between the summer court and the winter court. The summer court follow their King. They are experts at using mana for solar crafting and nature crafting (vines, flowers, trees and such). Those in the winter court serve a queen and have a affinity for ice and wind. Though both sides fight under the banner of the Galactic Order, they are often butting heads for which court is better.

Nephillum - a race of angel/demon hybrids. They only care about seeing the god of darkness reborn so that he can destroy the universe and choosing death and destruction is something they do for fun. They are vicious and intelligent as well as powerful. They use dark mana. They strongest of them are known as Centurions and can weild dark matter. Aside from the god of darkness, they answer to the Titans.

Titans - a race of sleeping planets that will soon awaken and search for their master, the god of darkness. Their are onky six of them frightening beings, each one storng enough to destroy half a galaxy withing minutes. They can morph into a humanoid or beast of varying size that keep the surface they had as planets. Like the Nephillum they were created by the dark god to wreak havoc.

Darkness - a race of dinosaur like creatures. They walk like humans but their facial features heavily resemble dinosaurs. Some have tails or wings. Their skin is midnight back. Champions are bigger than foot soldiers as well as stronger, being able to destroy a small planet. Primordials are Darkness that have lead for over a thousand years. They are extremely powerful and lead fleets. They were created when a very young race got a taste of the dark God’s power and fell victim to his will. Even though they were tainted by the dark god, they have no alliance with the other two races that serve him.

Deities - deities were created by the goddess of light to keep the dark god from tainting the newborn races. Their are six of them and they can easily destroy a star. They once fought along side the Galactic Order but now they are rarely seen.

Kularux galaxy
The Kularux is where the rp takes place. Like all galaxy's, this one is full of solar systems. The main solar systems are listed below.

Lumanirus system - this solar system is home to 11 planets, each one with multiple moons. This in turn makes the nights snowy on most of the planets.

planets under the Order
Tusk'kan-prime: This planet has five moons scattered about in its orbit. This planet is fifth away from the sun with icy landscape. It's summers are cool and the winters are freezing. their are many settlements scattered about, some hidden in caves.
CAPITAL: Merci'thul. It's hidden underground. The buildings are carved from the ice and thanks to mana generates, living is comfortable.

Lunaris-x: this planet is 8th away from the sun and has two moons. Despite its position, it has multiple climates.
CAPITAL: Vernus. Its buildings are sleek and sturdy. They are made of a chrome like metal and reach high into the sky.

The moon of the tenth planet is used not only as trading/supply post but there is also a large barrack were Knights are stationed.

Clyrax systems
This system is a bit odd. Some planets have moons some do not. Instead of a moon, they have smaller planets orbiting them. With the main planets being massive in size, the smaller planets give a gravitational pull similar to a moon.

Zenus: A grassy planet full of greenery. it has two oceans, swamps, jungles and forest.
One of the planets orbiting zenus is all jungle and the other is all forest.

Slovian-5: it's a planet of mountains ranges with a few oceans and a massive dessert. This planet is has only one other planet I'm it's orbit that is barren.
CAPITAL: Hynan is the capital. The capital lie in the middle of a dessert protected from harsh sandstorms by a mana powered forcefield.

Cylin'chur: A planet that is mostly water. Floating kingdoms and cities are located all over.
Capital: Tyrim.
The planet/moon is mostly rainforest. A base is located on this planet.

Myruem system
Nophian: the sixth planets from the sun. This planet is the main base of operations for the Order. Its a planet that has few oceans with continents scattered about.
Capital: Vyrmm. This large kingdom is constantly floating across the sky.

Laviria: this planet has multiple climates and regions. It his heavily used to train those who wish to be Knights and train rookies.
Capital: Kartrina

Xyran system
This system is home to multiple factions. The Order is still trying to gain control (will reveal more as story progress.)

Blackknife
Blackknife is a ruthless criminal organization consisting of bounty hunters, thrives, assassins and the like. They have reach throughout the galaxy and deal in person trafficking, drug dealing, arms trading, poching, and many more devious acts. What they are most known for is the drug known as nupherrium. This drug is manufactured by them and is taken to negate the effects of dark mana. Meaning if one is showing signs of dark mana, this drug will keep them from Fallen Place but they will be unable to use dark mana for three months, which is how long drug last. All are accept into Blackknife under one oath: Loyalty to Draco, the founder of nupherrium and Blackknife.

The assignments Bureau

located in Galactic Order HQ, this is where all mission request are processed, ranked in difficulty, and distributed. It is the bureau that normally pays for a successful mission but sometime villages and kingdoms may pay an acceptance fee.

Mission types
Knight have many different assignment types. Missions are the how a Knight makes a living.

Monster hunt - dispatching dangerous wildlife that threaten life

Treasure hunt - locating rare treasure. This usually involves treading dangerous territory and dungeons.

Bounty hunt - to bring in a dangerous criminal, dead or alive. Bounties can also be seen in Bingo dashboard

Delivery drop - dropping care packages/supplies to a village, kingdom or city.

Protect VIP - keeping a treasure or a very important person safe.

Assassination - kill a target with living little trace.

Extermination - clearing out hordes of enemies in a single location.

Stronghold - protecting a city, kingdom or village from an invading force

Raid - to infiltrate an enemy base for multiple reasons.

Each mission is done for pay and xp

Bounties

Bounties work like in any other game. Rewards or put on a target and you gain renown, money and XP depending on the target. Both Knights and criminals can have bounties.

Currency
1 Silver coin = common currency. Can be traded and worked for. Good for food, clothing, housing, and much more

1 silver jewels = 5 silver coins (only high paying jobs and good trading can get you these. They can be mined.)

1 gold coin = 30 silver coins, 10 silver jewels (usually only knights comes across this form of currency and the wealthy. 1 = 50)

1 gold jewel = 10 gold coins (very rare. 1= 500)

infrastructure
This is the same for each nation.

King/queen - the ruler of one of the four great nations. Usually Holy knight or stronger.

Baron/baroness - the ruler of a kingdom. Usually of Royal bloodline.

Chief - the ruler of a city or village

Village/city - a small community. The people usually reside in the rundown down living areas of past Civilizations. Some are more recently made.

Kingdoms - a large city. Usually has the latest technology and living arrangements. Knights usually heavily gaurd kingdoms.

Gargoyles
These creatures make jungles and rocky areas their home. They travel in packs of 15-20. They hunt in groups of 6. They eat any kind of meat. Human or otherwise. They can use Mana to shoot lasers from their mouths.

Krakan
Sea/ocean creatures. They grow up to sixty feet long with with tentacles even longer. They are fairly powerful though not very fast. They can use Mana to shoot a powerful blast of water that can destroy a portion of a coast.

Liviathan
Can grow up to 230 feet in height. They have tough hides and are very strong as well as fast. They can use Mana exoskeleton on certain parts of their body to encrease stats like speed and power. Some can fire a circular orb from their mouths that can destroy part a small mountain on impact.

Griffons
These creatures come in different sizes and colors depending on their place of origin. They mostly use Mana to attack with wind but it's not impossible for them to use other elements. They are fairly Intelligent creatures that travel in groups of three. *Side note: they love to eat gargoyles.

Leostrix
A sky creature. This beast uses it's Keen eyesight to spot prey from a distance. This creature uses it's wings and Mana to send sharp arcs of wind to slice it's prey. It's stinger is poisonous and can be fatal if not treated.

Thornhulk
An ape like creatures who's skin acts as armor. These beast travel in herds of six. They are fast and agile despite their build. The mature ones can use Mana exoskeletons to become even more fast and powerful.

Family branches

Felicity - originating from Laviria. The Felicity branch have an affinity for weilding ice. They also have great Mana control. They usually dabble in gun slinging.

Telkia - A family with high reserves of Lifeforce. They exell at creating weapons from the for basic elements. The more experienced of the family can even make living weapons.

Stoneheart - The Stoneheart branch has a trait which allows them to weild Mana itself in battle. Creating swords, barriers, even platforms of pure Mana. They can encrease it's density at will but they need the training, Lifeforce and Mana control. Luckily the Stoneheart branch is gifted with exceptional Mana control. This family branch usually have some dragon like scales on their body and have a ability that alerts them to danger. This trait must be honed to use on demand and accurately.

Col - Those belonging to this branch have an affinity for flame craft. Most can create and withstand extreme heat. The more gifted members of the branch can manipulate lava with ease. Most of them become violent mobsters due to their tempers.

Bloodmoon - The Bloodmoon branch have a rather unique trait. They are able to manipulate their blood to some extent. Hardening it to use as armor or weapons. In addition to this, they can also enter a state the pumps their blood at a faster rate. This gives their eyes a feline slit and they can see as we as feel the Lifeforce of those around them.

Laveil - A family of ninjas with the unique ability to control their shadow or the ones around them. Controlling the shadow of anything or one that doesn't belong to them takes more Lifeforce than controlling their own. The usually Excel in stealth and assassinations.

Lycanna - A family that takes on the transformation of werewolves. They have heightened awareness and agility.

Myridan - family that has an affinity for water craft. They have ease taming sea creatures and can often form contracts with them.

Crafts

Flame craft - gives one the ability to summon and manipulate fire

Wind craft - gives one the ability to create and manipulate wind

Earth craft - give ones the ability to bend earth to their will

Water craft - gives one the ability to manipulate liquids

(You get the point) there are also other elements like, ice craft, metal craft, lava craft, ect

Transformation craft - transformations can be preformed by some. Some create armor, others can become more animalistic. Attributes are usually increased during transformations. Transformation go by stages and each rank has a stage that gets closer to completion. Mid level divine knights will gain full transformation.Only high ranking Knights can perform a complete transformation.

Beast tamer craft - has the ability to form contracts with creatures and summon them through special runes. The higher the rank the stronger the beast. Beast are tamed by defeating them but not killing. XP isn't granted for taming.

Weapons craft - some can create powerful weapons. The kind of weapon and ability is due to the family blood line.

Dark/black craft - this is craft only used with dark mana. Energy projectiles can be fired and can be shaped into weapons. The damage is all do to the user but there is a limit. If humans, Fae, or lycomorph use dark mana then they will eventually fall in the Fallen Place. To obtain dark mana one must use mana for dark reasons, lust for power, greed, vengeance, hatred would be considered dark reasons

Black matter craft - this craft is only used with dark mana. It is extremely dense and can rival even the sun.

Armor, weapons, items

Every Knight needs good gear. It could prove the differences between success and failure. There are a wide range of gear made by different materials. Some materials have special properties

Shop

Basic materials and minerals(low ranking under 16)
Crystphorium crystals - a crystal used by officer Knights to power their weapons. Higher Knights that cannot create natural mana powered weapons also use these crystal. By using mana, one can shot mana from pistols or create a sword from a hilt.

Slovian metal - a super tough metal with a chrome color. The color can be changed to blue or red depending on how it's formed. This gives the user a +1 point in defense.

Tusk'kan leather - a lightweight but durable leather. Give +1 point in agility

Crulien jewel - a diamond like mineral. It is a blueish- clear tint. Gives +1 point in strenght

Serulian leather - a type of leather that gives +1 point to attack speed

Nophian leather - a common for beginner swordsman as it gives +1 awareness

intermedate mineral and materis (mid ranking under 25)
Cylin'chur gold - a gold that gives plus +1 point in attack speed and +1 counter precision.

Tusk'kan chrome - a chrome found on tusk'kan. It is black and can be customers to color change. Gives +1point to defense and plus I point to life force

Nophian gold - +1 point in attack, +1point in awareness.

Advanced materials and minerals (high ranking 25 and up)
Nophian gold chrome - +1 strength +2 awearness

Serulian chrome - +1 @agility, +2 attack speed

Protect V.I.P.
Rank: Divine knight - Mid-level

Target: James Griffinrune

Description: James was born on Laviria. He grew up witnessing death do to civil war in his kingdom of Nysial. The supreme council found it fit for Cullumbi who wanted refuge from the tyranny in their home systems to seek a haven in the tiny kingdom.

The residents made it clear they did not trust the Cullumbi in their home. It wasn't long before a young Cullumbi lashed out and killed a couple of his harassers. More young cullumbi e more violent and a faction rose to combat them. Murder rates have since then gone up.

This Angelli is someone who wants peace on both sides and is liked by most be comes across. This retired Knight has been using his charisma to run a campaign that could end with peace. You're job is to escort him to Nysial and suppress those who threaten his well being.

The bureau believes someone's pulling strings behind the scenes

Location: This kingdom uses chrome buildings that are mostly large complexes that reach high overhead. Hover cars rull the skys.

Pay: 13 gold coins

Xp: +15


Bounty hunt
Rank: Divine Knight - mid level

Target: Lazrith Bentil

Description: Bentil is an arms dealer for Blackknife. He is an ex-knight that held divine rank. Bring him down and cut Blackknife's profits.

Location: he was last spotted on Lunaris-x in a small city covered in snow.

Pay: alive 13 gold jewels/ dead 9 gold jewels

XP: +15
