Hello all! My name is Noah and welcome to "The Force Avenged." This roleplay attempts to combine the two fascinating worlds of Star Wars and Marvel. It tells the story of 8 different heroes who are forced to come together to save their own universes from complete annihilation. The Jedi feel a strong disturbance in the force while the Superheroes are being warned of impending doom. Soon, they will meet and the real race for survival will ensue. My hope is that we will all have a hand in writing this story together. We will have 4 Jedi and 4 Superheroes. It is first come first serve so, once we have 4 Jedi, the rest will need to be heroes (or vice versa). If you choose to be a Superhero, you cannot be op. Jedi are allowed two force powers while heroes are allotted one primary superpower. In addition to that, everyone is allowed to have one main weapon to wield in battle.

Basically, it is a fun story, taking place between two different dimensions. I will not be guiding the story and would like it to be more fluid. If you feel you have a good idea for a plot twist or something, as long as it is realistic, fire away. I will be writing the intro and any environment notifications in white, while my in character posts will be in blue. Thank you so much for your interest. RULES

- Need dedicated writers
- Must be active at least once every 3 days (although I'd prefer every day.) If someone is not active for 7 days or more, their character will most likely be killed or written off in some way. You are welcome to return but may need a new character depending on the conclusion we write for you. If there is a special circumstance, of course I will understand and hold off, just let me know.
- There will be no god modding, over powered characters, or unrealistic weaponry. - Moderate writing ability is required. I don't like one or two sentence responses! They kill the story!
- I'm taking a small risk by not making out stats for each character to decide internal fights. I like the freedom of you guys deciding what happens in the fights, with other players or NPC's, All I ask is that you are open to defeat and realistic with the fights, because you will lose. No character in any reality is unable to be bested. If I decide you are too over powered or that you are being unrealistic in a fight, I will bring it up in a respectful way. Basically, just be humble and smart! Obviously if you are one hero, you wouldn't be able to take on one of the main villains alone for a long period of time. I will be putting my faith in you so please just be good a roleplaying partner and have some fun!

I know these requirements might make me seem like an ass, but I really am someone very laid back and understanding. I just like to make fun and interesting roleplays! The only reason I have a few requirements is because I find when you do an RP like this and don't have a stringent rule set, things can go poorly very quick and the RP could die. With wild red hair that licks her face with every movement, Hephaestia is a beacon of light wherever she goes. Her face is dotted with freckles and she stands at average height, roughly 5'5". Her right arm is covered in burn marks from a childhood accident, and a birthmark on her right temple that looks like a flame.

Small description of history
Born to a strongman and a fire-breather, Hephaestia comes from a long line of superheroes. Hidden in plain sight, Hephaestia and her parents were employed in a traveling circus, using their powers to entertain crowds. When Hephaestia was twelve, the circus caught fire, resulting in the destruction of the circus, the death or disappearance of most of the circus folk, and the end of Hephaestia's childhood. After the disappearance of her parents in the fire, Hephaestia moved to New York City to live with her two aunts who themselves feared anything "abnormal" and pressured their niece into rejecting her supernatural abilities. Hephaestia refused to do so and continued to practice her amateur skills in secret. While performing fire-breathing on a street corner for cash at age 18, she was discovered by a secret agent and recruited to join an organization of superheroes dedicated to ridding the world of crime. She is far from perfect and has yet to master her powers, but has grown in the past four years, surrounded by other supers on the path to becoming heroes.

He is beginning to feel the wear and tear of his early years as a skilled force user. Remaining muscular and fit, an attribute needed for any Jedi, he stands around 6'1, 225 pounds. His stamina and dexterity are his biggest strengths. His eyes shine an intense, emerald green and his hair bares resemblance to wood bark.

Small description of history:
Reric has lived in the higher echelon of society, the upper levels of Coruscant, his whole life. Staying with his mother, an influential business women, he lived a relatively happy childhood. Every so often he would see his father, a master on the Jedi Council, who met with him in secret. Master's on the council were unable to have children, and if Reric had been discovered, his father would be banished and he would be restricted from the Jedi order. Reric began showing signs of force use around the time he was 4 years old, so to prepare him for a future with the Jedi, his father hid him away. He kept his son's abilities from the Council, secretly training him in the ways of the force. He taught him patience, skill, battle readiness, and better use of his abilities. He made great leaps up until he was 6 years old.
He and his parents, on a rare night where they all 3 were able to be together decided to travel to the lower district to spend time together. It had been a long time since they were all together, and it was somewhere the temple would never expect. After talking together for a few hours, it was at this time his mother handed Reric something of great importance to her. She reached into her satchel and pulled out a purple looking stone. It appeared as though there were flames trapped inside the glass; as if it were a furnace that would eternally burn inside its clear prison. His mother didn't tell him how much she would have gotten from selling it, his wonder and amazement was enough. But then, something changed.
All of the sudden, the air began to shift and there was a noticeable disturbance in the force. Reric and his father both felt it, but it was too late. Men with glowing red lightsabers came from around the corners of the surrounding buildings and ambushed his father. He managed to take down 3 of the 4 men until being bested by their leader. They struggled intensely, his father standing steadfast against the man. Unfortunately, he was overtaken, and his parents were slaughtered before his very eyes. Reric stood alone in his parents blood, fearful as the man approached him. Reric closed his eyes, accepting his death as inevitable. A few seconds passed, but he felt no lightsaber. He opened his eyes to find the man simply staring at him. His stare felt deliberate, as if he were looking for something specific. The moment between them lasted only a moment until the man walked away, leaving him alive.
It wasn't long after that. The Jedi High Council found Reric and brought him into the senate to receive sentencing. Almost everyone on the Council was weary about bringing in an unlawful child to train as a Jedi. The only one who opposed the majority was the Grandmaster. He felt Reric was special and should begin training immediately. It wasn't until Reric, at age 6, force pulled his fathers green saber off the senate desk and into his hands, activating it simultaneously. They threw their doubt aside and decided to train him as a Jedi Knight. The majority of the Council still retained some hesitance, but after several years they began to see the child flourish and impress many, the Grandmaster included. Their feelings soon shifted even further as Reric showed skill with a lightsaber and a special affinity for the force as he finished trial after trial. The Council had seen all they needed to see. At age 23, he had successfully become a Jedi Knight; however, the Council saw a brighter future for the young man. He immediately began the next phase of his training to be a master. If Reric was able to complete this training, he would become the youngest Master to ever serve on the Jedi High Council. After 2 years, he chose a Padawan named Arendell. They went on many adventures, growing together as brothers in the process. Reric now searches to complete his final task to become a master and earn his place among the Jedi High Council.

Personality:
Reric is good natured at his core. He may have a tendency to crack a joke at the wrong time or be a little louder than necessarily wanted, but this is simply a front. He truly cares for others around him and making the world a better place. He may be brash at times, but in times of need or danger, he can flip this part of himself off like a switch, becoming extremely focused and prepared for any threat. He guards himself heavily, not letting anyone in so he can protect himself from harm. Only those he feels truly connected to will hear his journey and see his real emotion. He hides a lot of pain beneath his surface because his life was not his creation, as if he had no say. To a certain point, he views this as a curse and blessing. He is fortunate to have followed this path and develop his skills as a force user, but he lost so much on the way. He takes responsibility for not being able to do more, and being so helpless. He vows to never be helpless again, to remain steadfast and strong, no matter the odds. He will die protecting what he believes in.

Small description of history:
From a young age, all Nasbra knew was the order of the force. He began his training from a young age and quickly became skilled in the use of a light saber. At the age of 12 his parents undertook their final trial to ascend to the rank of master within the order and were killed by a krayt dragon when they accidentally trespassing on its territory. The only thing that was recovered from his parents were their light sabers. Knowing that his father leaned more towards the dark side and his mother towards the light, he decided to combine their crystals into one saber and dedicate himself to become a master of the order. At the age of 23, he was granted the knowledge of the details of the final trial. He was tasked with balancing the two sides of the force within himself. After months of meditation he came to the conclusion that the dark side of the force weighed more in his heart and he needed to settle the anger and pain at the death of his parents. He felt that the only way was to kill the krayt dragon that had killed his parents. Upon finding the dragon fought a battle that lasted for hours but at last the dragon dealt a massive blow to Nasbra. Knowing he was close to death the light side of the force surged inside of him and he was able to overcome the massive dragon. After a long struggle to get back home he was treated for his wound and realized that his body would permanently bear the proof of his completed trial. During the battle his old light saber was damaged beyond repair so he set to work creating a new pair of light sabers. Now, with his final trial complete, his final mission was to be the embodiment of the pure force. He was to let the force guide him and become his new master. Two years later the force guided him to a mysterious planet on the outer rim where he found a set of armor to help shield his scared body from the universe.

Personality: Nasbra is a rather reserved individual. He prefers to use strategy and patience in most situations but if force is needed he will not hesitate to eliminate his threat With whatever means are necessary.

Lightsaber description:

A pair of silver bladed light sabers. One of them contains a clear krayt dragon crystal and the other uses a kyber crystal and a durinfire crystal in conjunction. The Krayt crystal light saber is his main handed weapon and is used for its raw fighting power. The durinfire light saber is used in the off hand because of its ability to absorb large amounts of energy. These light sabers are able to combine to form a double bladed light saber.

I feel that the characters feeling real rather than the physics are usually more important in these kinds of escapist settings. They're both steeped in comic book tradition, after all.
