I sit on the boat. My typical fisherman outfit glistening out into the sea. I’m happy. Life is happy.
My rod pulls backwards, my smile increases and I pull the rod upwards. It’s a worm. The fish escaped. I clench the worm tightly and throw it into the sea. I lost the fish. I lost the hope.
I wait. Patiently.

The rod pulls downwards. I gleefully pull back up and see a sea bask. It’s glistening skin reflects the sky. I grab a hammer and slam it’s head three times to kill it. I’ll eat it later.

The rod pulls for another time. I gleefully pull it upwards and find a worm. Pathetic. A living remnant of my failure. I shove it in my mouth and continue on.

The rod pulls back again. I pull it upwards and see a grey sea bass. It has tar leaking from its mouth and eyes. It wants me. I cut off its head and shove it down my mouth. The tar grows inside of me.
I can feel the tar coming out of my eyes.
I continue fishing.

The rod pulls downwards. I pull it up and see a gulf founder. Beautiful. As it flaps in my hand, I look in its eyes and see it’s future demise. I throw it away. Out of my league.

The rod pulls downwards and I pull it upwards. I see a red bass. It’s red scales assault the eyes. I eat it, gleefully.

The rod pulls downwards, I pull it up. It’s a catfish, it has worms inside of its stomach. The larvae writhes, beckoning me for my flesh. I eat it with a wonderful grin.
I begin vomiting.
20 minutes later.
After vomiting for 20 minutes, I continue fishing.

The rod pulls downwards, I pull it up and see a red snapper. It’s headless, the blood trickling down my hand. It’s head speaks to me. I shove it down my mouth. My mouth is the crocodiles teeth.

The rod pulls downwards, I pull it up and see a human head. It’s eyes are pecked out. The bone inside of it has been taken away. I eat it and continue on.

The rod pulls downwards, I pull up and see a flesh cube. It pulsates. It wishes to be a part of me. I throw it away in fear. The ocean becomes red, all the fishes are dying. I quickly scurry and find the flesh cube floating in the water, I pick it up and shove it down my mouth.
I wait.
For once I feel peaceful.
The boat slowly goes down, the floor boards crackle and the entire boat bends, I float peacefully as I slowly drown in the water.
Just a wonderful day for fishing.
The End.
