Max gave a small nod and looked up at him giving him a toothless smile "Right... well um do you have any siblings? Or are you an only child?" she asked wanting to get away from the ex's subject completely now.

Norman got her settled into the car before he got in and started driving "Remember to breath babe okay? They're going to be just fine and so are you." he said doing his best to comfort her in this situation and stay calm for her as well, even though he was panicking on the inside.

Jeffery rubs her hand softly and pulls her a little closer. He didn’t want her to feel bad about asking. It wasn’t exactly something he wanted Norman telling the girls he had set him up with. Most didn’t last long enough for him to want to open up to anyway. “I’m an only child.” He murmurs skftly. “Do you and Chleo have other siblings?”

Chleo nods a little and rubs her belly. She whines as another contraction hits and grips the car seat. “Please hurry.” She whimpers.

Max smiled as he pulled her close. She held onto his arm a bit "No its just us, mom was more than happy with two " she said shrugging softly "I think it was nice, grew up with Chleo so I didnt really have to deal with kid siblings."

Norman nodded "I'm going as fast as I can babe." He murmured as he sped down the highway and to the hospital hooing to not get pulled over by anyone for doing atleast 30 over the speed limit.

Jeffery nods a little and smiles. “I would have liked to have a sibling.” He murmurs and watches her. “What are your parents like?”

Chleo nods a little and realxes a little when the contraction fades. She takes a deep breathe and rubs her tummy. “Just a little bit longer little one.” He murmurs softly.

Max gave a small smile "Theyre nice, good people for sure. Sweethearts." She explained looking at him "What about yours?" She asked keeping close to him throwing her trash away once she finished her drink

Norman pulled into the hospital and parked outside taking a deep breath "I'm gonna go get help okay?" He murmured before he rushed inside asking for a nurse and wheelchair

Jeffery smiles and nods. “They’re great. Very supportive.” He murmurs softly and throws his cup away.

Chleo nods a little and waits. She gets out when he comes back and with the help of him and the nurse, gets in the wheelchair. She holds her stomach and frowns.

Max smiled softly "Well thats always good to hear." She said happily before she gave a small shiver when she felt the temperature drop a bit "Its getting a little chilly out here." She said quietly while looking around

Norman helped her into the wheelchair and followed her in "You need me to call anyone other than your parents?" He asked trying to get her mind distracted from what was happening.

Jeffery takes his jacket off and drapes it around her shoulders. “Wanna heads back?” He asks soflty and watches her happily.

Chleo nods a little. “Max, but tell her she doesn’t have to come right away.” She tells him and gets taken into a room and helped into a bed. She whines softly and screams when a really bad contraction hits.

Max smiled softly as he gave her his jacket. She immediately took in his scent and felt so much comfort engluf her "It is getting kind of late huh?" She said looking up at him as his jacket swallowed her.

Norman nodded and stepped out to call his parents along with hers. He sighed heavily and called Max hoping she could make it, he knew how much it meant to Chleo "Max? Max, Chleo is in labor, she needs you here, call me please as soon as you get this." He said frantically before he rushed back into the room

Jeffery nods a little. “Yeah it is.” He murmurs softly and leads her back towards her car. When he gets there he stops and looks at her. “I had a really great night.” He murmurd soflty and watches her. “I hope we can do this again soon.”

Chleo looks at him when he comes back in the room and reaches for his hand. She holds hair tightly and whimpers. “It hurts.” She whines and holds her stomach. “What if something’s wrong Norman?”

Max walked with him smiling the wntire time not hearing her phone go off at all. She looked up at him once they reached her car and gave a nod "I would like that a lot." She said happily before she took off his jacket handing it to him "Thank you for letting me borrow it."

Norman held her hand shaking his head some "No no they will be just fine, they're just excited to meet us." He whispered letting a few tears fall

Jeffery takes his jacket back and nods. “Of course love he murmurs softly. He watches her and smile she. “I’ll call you.” He murmurs and hugs her gently.

Chleo frowns and shakes her head. She felt something was wrong. They shouldn’t be coming this early. She grips the bed and screams again when a contraction hits.

Max blushed lightly and smiled happily "Okay, you better." she teased before she hugged him back feeling her heart flutter a bit "Has anyone ever told you that you give great hugs?" she asked as she pulled away only a little bit from him giggling quietly as she looked up at him.

Norman frowned more and held her hand kissing her temple "You will be okay I promise, and so will they. They are going to be just fine." he whispered hoping she would find comfort in his words.

Jeffery chuckles softly. “Get home safe. Let me know when you get home.” He murmurs softly. He kisses her cheek and makes sure she gets in the car okay before heading to his own car.

Chleo whimpers and nods a little. She holds onto his hand tightly and looks at him. “Can you go get the nurse and tell her I need the epidural?”

Max nodded giving him a small smile and blushed bright red as he kissed her cheek "Will do." She said quietly before she got in her car sitting there for a moment trying to wrap her head around how she possibly had such an amazing date

Norman nodded and quickly went out calling for a nurse "She needs whatever an epidural is." He said havung not learned what the pain killed was called to help with labor

Jeffery smiles and heads to his moms. He heads inside and sits with her for a bit to tell her about his date. He runs a hand through his hair and sighs softly.

The nurse nods. “Tell your wife I’ll be right in with the shot.” She tells him and goes to grab the stuff. She comes in and has Chleo turn onto her side, injecting the medicine into her spine and then letting her lay back down. Chleo whimpers softly and soon feels the effects, relaxing a little.

Martha smiled some as her son told her about the date "So will you be seeing this young lady again?" She asked happy to hear that her son seemed to actually be getting along with someone in a romantic way.

Norman sighed and held her hand kissing the top of her head "I love you babe." He whispered looking up as Max rushed into the room panting

Max was in her car and checked her phone going wide eyed at Norman's message. She didnt even call him she just rushed to the hospital knowing something was very wrong if the baby was coming this early.

Jeffery smiles at his mom and nods. “Yeah I am.” He murmurs softly. “There’s a new restaurant opening up this weekend. Maybe I’ll invite her to that.” He murmurs and checks his phone.

Chleo sees Max come in and smiles a little. “Max.” She murmurs and reaches for her sister. She was glad she made it. “How was your date?” She asks softly. She just didn’t want to think about the pain that was slightly there or the fact that this could go so wrong so quick. She was terrified.

Martha nodded giving a smile looking at Jeffrey "Thats sounds like a very nice idea. Do you plan on telling her about Lyla if this becomes serious?" She asked hoping he had found a woman who would except her grandchild

Max smiled softly and took her hand in hers "Hey beautiful. They date was...amazing isn't even the right word." She said softly looking at her sister "He is so sweet, and we held hands."

Jeffery nods. “Of course I will.” He murmurs softly and watches his mom. “I just don’t wanna spring it on her. We already had a hitch when ex’s came up.” He murmurs softly and sighs softly.

Chleo smiles and giggles softly. “That’s great.” She murmurs. She sounded like a school girls ith a crush but she was happy for her. She holds her hand and takes deep breathes. “Are you gonna see him again?” She asks softly and tightens her grip a little when she feels a contraction.

Martha gave a small nod "Well thats good. I'm so happy for you Jeffrey." She said softly patting his cheek gently "Lyla was good by the way, upsrt when she realized you left but I put on Dumbo and she quickly got distracted." She explained

Max nodded happily ignoring how badly she was gripping her hand "Mhmm, he said he would call me. So hopefully I'll see him again soon." She said softly placing a hand on her bump "They'll be okay."

Jeffery sighs softly. “I don’t know what to do about her. She’s getting more upset about her mom being gone and she’s getting more clingy with me.” He murmurs and leans back. He checks his phone again and when he sees she hadn’t let him know she was home safe, he texted her.

Chleo nods a little and soon the doctor was coming in and checking to see if she was dialated enough. When she was they ushered Max out of the room and got Norman in scrubs. She whimpers and holds his hand tightly. She was so scared

Max stepped out of the room and sighed softly glancing at her phone smiling as she saw a text from Jeff 'I'm okay, Chleo is in labor.' She texted

Martha gave a soft sigh nodding a bit "She is at that age Jeffrey, she will be okay in due time." She explained knowing he would be able to get through this. Her son was a strong man, and a great father.

Norman held her hand as he got scrubbed up taking a deep breath "Its okay babe you're doing absolutely amazing." He whispered as she pushed their child out

Jeffery sighs softly and nods. He looks down at his phone and his eyes widen. “Wow. Do you guys need anything?” He knew how tough it could be on the family and he knew they would be there awhile. “I gotta head out mom.” He tells her and kisses her cheek. He goes to get the sleeping Lyla and picks her up. He carries her out to the car and heads home.

Chleo nods a little and soon the baby was born and they were told it was a girl, but she was soon being rushed away. “Is she okay?” She asks and frowns. “Where are you taking her?”

Max smiled softly at his reply 'No I think we will be okay, I'll let you know.' she replied sitting outside for another 30 minutes or so before she saw the nurses rushing out with the baby cradled in their arms.

Norman held her hand the entire time encouraging her and letting her know how great she was doing. However when he heard the nurses say it was a girl and no crying to follow he began to worry. He went into a full panic when they immediately took her out and rushed off looking at the nurse who was cleaning Chleo up "She is very premature, at this point its not safe for her to be out in the open, they are taking her to the NICU so she can be in an incubator to help her finish developing." the nurse explained to them as she finished getting Chleo situated "You'll be able to visit her in a few hours, but right now m'am you need to rest."
