Chleo sticks her tongue out at him. “Stop being a meanie. I defiantly let you cheat on that diet the doctor had you on after your kidney stones.” She reminds him and starts eating. She glances over at Max. “Yeah we’re good. Thank you again.” She murmurs and smiles st her sister, happy to see her so happy. “Have fun tonight.” She murmurs softly.

Jeffery smiles and looks at the text from her. He was glad she seemed to be looking forward to this. He hops in the shower and gets ready before getting Lyla ready and heading to his moms house.

Norman rolled his eyes as he started on his phone "Yeah but I didn't have a baby in my belly." he said chuckling waving goodbye to Max "Thanks again! Tell Jeff I said hey!" he said as she made her way out of the house. He looked over at Chleo giving her a soft smile "Hope you know I'm just joking by the way." he said happily as he watched his glowing wife eat her food.

Max smiled softly and rushed home to get ready hoping she looked good for him. She curled her hair lightly and did a simple makeup while she placed on a casual red dress biting her lip as she started to drive to the restaurant taking a deep breath sitting outside for a few minutes trying to get her nerves down. She got out after she finally got her nerves down stepping out of the car. Though as soon as she stepped out the butterflies erupted in her stomach again as she saw Jeffrey make his way down the side walk towards the restaurant.

Chleo watches her sister leave and rolls her eyes at Norman. She glances at him and smiles a little. “I know.” She murmurs and finishes eating. She throws her trash away and kisses his cheek softly. “Need any pain meds?” She asks softly and plays with his hair gently. She glances down at his bandages shoulder and frowns a little. She didn’t want to lose him to those job. She sighs softly and kisses his head.

Jeffery heads to the restaurant once he get Lyla distracted enough to leave. She was getting back into being clingy towards him. He loved her wanting to be close but he also knew it wasn’t something he could keep encouraging. He heads down the sidewalk and stops short when he sees her. Wow, she was breathtaking. He walks over to her and takes her arm. “Don’t you look amazing.” He murmurs softly.

Norman shook his head kissing her cheek gently "No babe I'm good." he murmured getting up and throwing his trash away before he went to hold her from behind smiling happily "You know, I think its going to be a girl." he said quietly rubbing her bump with his good hand sighing happily at the thought. He was so happy to become a father.

Max smiled widely and waved at him as he came down towards her. She blushed bright red as he complimented her "Thank you, you look great too." she said softly looking up at the tall man next to her "How has your day been?" she asked biting her lip gently as they went inside and sat down.

Chleo smiles and leans into him a little, being careful of his arm. “I sure hope so.” She murmurs softly and rubs her bump. She really wanted a little girl. She glances up at him and kisses his chin. “I just need him or her to get here.” She murmurs softly. “I’m tired of being his big and I miss sexy time.” She pouts and wiggles her eyebrows at him playfully.

Jeffery smiles and shrugs a little. “Pretty boring actually.” He chuckles softly and shrugs. “It was a lazy day at home.” He murmurs and smiles at her. “What about you?” He asks and heads inside with her and follows the hostess to their table. He pulls the chair out for her and then takes his seat.

Max smiled happily at him and blushed again at him being such a gentlemen "Well it was boring, but Norman actually got shot today on a run. He is okay though for sure, shoulder shot straight through." she explained giving a small shrug "Scared us but thankfully he seems to be just fine." she said picking up the menu to look over

Norman chuckled and gave a small groan nipping at her ear "Mmm we could definitely try." he said softly rubbing small circles on her bump smirking gently "And I wish we could meet them too. I know they'll be perfect." he whispered

Jeffery frowns. “Wow. I’m glad he’s okay.” He murmurs and watches her. “I’m sure Chleo’s gonna take good care of him.” He chuckles softly and smiles at her. “I’m really happy you agreed to come.” He murmurs skftly.

Chleo giggles softly and groans a little. “I would very much like that.” She murmurs and places a hand over his. She smiles and nods. “They will be.” She murmurs and turns to face him. She nuzzles her face in his neck and sighs softly.

Max smiled happily and nodded "She definitely will." she said blushing softly as she looked at him "I'm happy you asked me out tonight." she said taking in a shaky breath trying to calm her nerves "So you said you were a fire fighter right?" she asked softly

Norman smiled some and reached his hand around to grab her ass gently "So...you wanna try?" he asked in a lustful voice feeling his breath become heavier at the thought. They hadn't done anything since she found out she was pregnant and he was dying a bit to get some kind of action

Jeffery smiles and nods. “Yeah. I don’t get shot at, most of the time, but the potential of burning alive is pretty scary.” He chuckles and grins toothy at her.

Chleo smirks at him and presses agaisnt him. “I would very much like to.” She murmurs to him and looks up at him. She couldn’t stand the dry spell they’d had since she got pregnant. She had been dying to get him in bed again and she couldn’t take it anymore.

Max gave a small laugh and nodded "Yeah that would be pretty scary." she said smiling wide seeing his smile towards her. As the date progressed she was finding herself falling harder for this man she had just barely met but she knew she really wanted to see him again after this that was for sure. As they walked out of the restaurant she couldn't felt but feel a little sad knowing their date was coming to an end. She glanced around seeing the area lit up completely with couples walking all around. She hadn't noticed how much of a romantic spot this restaurant was in, she wondered if he had purposefully picked this place for that reason.

Norman smirked some and took her hand leading her to the bedroom. After about 6 tries to find the right position they finally found one and he layed next to her after they finished panting heavily "Shit, after you're healed up from the baby never having that long of a dry spell AGAIN!" he said giving a faint laugh while he caught his breath.

Jeffery smiles and walks out of the restaurant with her. He bites his lip softly and glances around. He really didn’t want this to end. He was having such a good time with her. “Wanna go on a walk? I could really benifit from walking off al that food.” He chuckles and looks at her. He’d do anything to keep her near him a little longer. He hadn’t known her long but he was drawn to her.

Chleo pants and closes her eyes. “I agree, never waiting that long.” She murmurs and rubs her numb soflty. She cuddles into his side and relaxes. “I love you so much.” She murmurs softly and watches him.

Max smiled widely at him and nodded "I'd love that." she said softly biting her lip as walked with him glancing at his hand. She very much wanted to hold it as they walked, but she also didn't want to seem like she might be rushing things. Was she? Holding hands wasn't that big of a step right? Damn it had really been a long time she was actually serious about a date.

Norman smiled happily "I love you too my dear." he said softly kissing her cheek before he got up and put his boxers on making his way to their en suite bathroom. He came out a few minutes later laying back down with her "How are you feeling? I didn't hurt you did I?" he asked

Jeffery smiles and walks along the road with her. The place was always hoping at night with couples and just younger people. It was a nice little neighborhood and he liked being down here. “So tell me about yourself. I feel like I’ve kinda stolen the conversation all night.”

Chleo smiles and shakes her head. “No you didn’t.” She assures him and watches him. “I’m fine.” She murmurs and nuzzles her face in his neck. She relaxes and sighs softly.

Max gave a small smile as she walked with him "Well um...I'm Chleo's older sister, and um..I'm a photographer." she said looking up at him blushing lightly when she noticed that he was staring down at her "Um...I'm sorry its been a long time since I've been on a date." she said laughing again feeling a little embarrassed about it.

Norman nodded giving a small smile "Okay good." he said softly stroking her cheek softly "You know you are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on?" he murmured thankful that he was laying on the opposite side of his shoulder

Jeffery chuckles softly and shakes his head. “It’s fine. It’s been three years for me.”)3 tells her and smiles. “Trust me I understand.” He murmurd and smiles at her. “But a photographer? What’s that like? What do you photograph?”

Chleo smiles and shakes her head. “How did I get so lucky to have you?” She asks softly. Norman was a far cry from her last boyfriend and she never thought she’d ever get to this point or be this happy.

Max gave a small laugh feeling a little more relaxed knowing he was in the same boat "Its been about 5 for me." she said smiling again at him "Well I started with Nature, now I'm kinda all over the place, engagements or just couples. Sometimes some models too. Its very but sometimes it can be tiring." she said giving a soft laugh

Norman chuckled softly "Never been so grateful to answer a call in my life." he whispered kissing her forehead gently. He had met her through a call about domestic abuse. He had his partner take in her ex while he comforted her through out the night. He hadn't been able to get her off his mind since it happened and a week later he found himself back at the house saying it was 'a check up'.

Jeffery listens to her and nods. “Wow. That sounds like fun.” He murmurs softly. He had never been the very artistic type but it had always interested him. “You’ll have to let me see your work sometime.” He murmurs soflty.

Chleo smiles a little and giggles softly. “I’m just glad I called our neighbor finally called.” She murmurs softly and traces patterns on his chest. “I really didn’t think I was waking out of that one alive.” She murmurs softly.

Max gave a small nod "I'd like that, as long as I get to see you at work in your uniform." she teased taking a deep breath before she looked at his hand again "I know um...I know this might seem kind of child like but...can I hold your hand?" she asked shyly feeling her cheeks burn with red blush as she looked up at him

Norman frowned some and nodded "Yeah I'm glad too." he whispered pulling her into him wanting to feel her skin against his. He had no idea what he would have done if he had found her dead that night.

Jeffery smiles at her and shakes his head. “It doesn’t sound childish.” He murmurs and takes her hand gently. He rubs the back of her hand with his palm and stops in front of an ice cream shop. “This place has amazing milkshakes. Wanna get some?” He asks softly and watches her.

Chleo cuddles into him the best she could and lays her head on his good shoulder. She rubs his stomach softly and smiles. “You really saved me.” She murmurs skftly.

Max smiled happily then nodded softly "I'd like that a lot, I haven't had a good milkshake in a bit." she said giving his hand a soft squeeze as they walked inside. His hand was rough, no doubt from his line of work, but they felt nice against her soft skin, it was a nice balance, or atleast she thought so.

Norman gave a soft nod and stared at the ceiling "You saved me too." he said softly running his fingers through her hair. He had been going down a dark and depressing path when he met her. Having a different woman every week, partying out, feeling like his life was kind of pointless in all honesty but as soon as he met her he felt he had purpose again.

Jeffery smiles and nods. He heads inside with her and lets her look over the menu. He smiles down at her and glances down at their interlocked hands. This felt so right and so nice. He waits for her decide and goes to order. He hands her hers and heads back outside with her.

Chleo smiles at him and kisses his chin softly. She sighs happily and suddenly sits up when a sharp pain rips through her stomach. She grips her stomach tightly and takes deep breathe. “I think my water just broke.” She tells him and shakes a little. She still had two months to go. Her water couldn’t be breaking right now.

Max sipped her drink as they strolled around hand in hand "So 3 years huh? Last one scare you off that much?" she joked trying to make light of their situations with dating but she had no idea the severity of his loss and why it had taken him 3 years to finally open up to someone even a little bit.

Norman went wide eyed and shot up looking at her "What? Shit does it feel like you peed yourself?" he asked knowing that from when a co-worker gave him a brief prep on how to know when a baby is coming "Maybe they just kicked really hard." he said starting to worry, if she was in labor then that meant the baby would be very pre-mature and could possibly not make it.

Jeffery frowns a little and bites his lip, not knowing if he should really go into it on their first date. “No um...I was married.” He murmurs softly. “She passed away.” He tells her and looks down.

Chleo glares at him. “I think I know the difference between a kick and my water breaking!” She snaps at him. She was freaking out. She didn’t want to lose this baby, she couldn’t lose this baby. Everything was fine at her last checkup. She carefully gets up and tries to find clothes.

Max's smile soon faded and she now felt like the absolute worst person in the entire world "Oh my god...Jeffrey I...Oh I'm so sorry. I had no clue I wouldn't..I shouldn't have said anything." she said letting go of his hand and looking at the floor tearing herself apart in her mind for saying something about it. He would surely not want to see her again now due to this, god why hadn't Norman warned her?!

Norman frowned some and got up quickly putting on some sweats and a shirt. He helped her get some sweats and a baggy shirt on as well "Okay okay..ummm I should be able to drive, yeah no problem." he said panicking himself. Of all the time the baby had to come it was the time that he had been shot and was a bit incapacitated.

Jeffery shakes his head. “No, no. It’s fine. How would you know?” He murmurs and takes her hand again. “Don’t beat yourself up.” He murmurs and squeezes her hand softly.

Chleo frowns and heads out to the car with him. She gets in carefully and holds her stomach. “It’s okay little one. It’s okay. You’re gonna be fine.” She whispers and tears up a little. “You’re gonna be fine. You have to b.e.”
