Lyla smiled happily and hugged him tight "Tea pawty!" she said giggling before she made a face frowning some "Daddy....Daddy potty!" she said trying to rush off him and make her way to the restroom. She was slowly but surely learning her potty training and she always wanted him to know just in case she needed help.

Max frowned and gave a small nod "Hey deep breaths okay? A shoulder shot isn't fatal, he will be okay." she said trying to calm her down the best she could "Chleo think of the baby you gotta stay calm for them."

Jeffry chuckles and puts her down. “Go sweetie.” He murmurs and kisses her head. He follows after her and waits outside to make sure she didn’t need him.

Chleo takes deep breathes and nods. She rushes into the hospital when they get there and asks for him. She gets taken to his room and goes over to him as quick as she could.

Lyla did her business and got on her little step stool washing her hands before she came out "I did it!!" She exclaimed happily as she clapped her hands above her head flashing him a smile that was exactly identical to his.

Norman groaned as he felt Chleo hug him tightly "Watch out babe." He muttered taking a deep breath as the pain killers started to take effect "I'm fine...went straight through." He grumbled glancing at his wife

Jeffery smiles and shakes his head. God she looked more like him everyday, but she still had her mothers eyes. He picks her up and spins her around. “Well aren’t you my good little girl.” He murmurs and heads into the living room. “Now let’s have that tea party.”

Chleo Let’s go of him and frowns. “I’m sorry.” She murmurs and sits down beside him carefully. She sighs and moves some hair out of his face. “God I was worried.” She murmurs softly and caresses his cheek.

Lyla giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck the best she could "I big gurl Daddy!" She said happily as he placed her down next to the table

Norman nodded softly and took her hand in his "I'm fine babe, some prick decided to just shoot at random." He muttered not wanting to mention that he had to take him down. He wasn't proud of it and honestly it made him feel a bit sick to his stomach but he knew that was apart of the job.

Jeffery smiles and nods. “You are.” He murmurs. “Stop growing upon me.” He teases and tickles her tummy. He smiles and kisses her cheek.

Chleo sighs softly and nods. “I’m glad you’re okay.” She murmurs softly and kisses his cheek. She holds his hand gently and sighs softly. “When can you head out?”

Lyla giggled again and pushed his hands away before she rushed to get her tea cups and teddy bears to set up "Daddy hewe!" She exclaimed handing him the king crown she always liked him to wear when they had tea parties

Norman looked at the clock "Not sure, they said probably an hour, doc gotta come check the battle wound again." He said chuckling some smirking at her "I'm gonna get a bad ass battle scar."

Jeffery chuckles and puts the crown on. “Why thank you.” He murmurs and lets her set everything up. He’d do just about anything to make his little girl happy.

Chleo sighs and rolls her eyes a little. “Only you.” She murmurs and sighs. She rubs his hand softly and kisses his palm. “I love you.”

Lyla set everything up and poured the fake tea handing him a cup then one to the empty seat next to him "Daddy it good?" She asked happily

Norman chuckled softly but groaned as pain shot through his shoulder "Welp I'll be doing desk work for til this is healed." He muttered hating desk work

Jeffery chuckles softly and smiles. He pretends to sip it and nods. “Very good.” He tells her and smiles. He watches her happily.

Chleo frowns and pulls away from him quickly. “I know you don’t like it but you can’t throw yourself back in.” She murmurd siftly and runs a band through her hair.

Lyla smiled wide and looked at the empty space next to him "Mommy?" She asked smiling softly "Mommy say it good." She said quietly before she poured drinks for the other stuffed animals and herself

Norman sighed heavily giving a nod "I know I know, Im still hoping for that damn promotion. Ive put my goddam time in." He muttered now getting grumpy from being so worn out

Jeffery sighs soflty and watches her. He ruffles her hair gently and watches her. “You’re an amazing tea maker Sweetie.” He murmurs softly.

Chleo sighs softly. “Just take it easy Norman.” She murmurs and stands up. She sighs and places her hands on her bump. “You’ll get it, but working yourself like a dog isn’t gonna do anything but wear you down.”

Lyla smiled softly and gave a small giggle "Tank you daddy." She said before sipping her tea as well "Daddy we watch movie?" She asked going over and sitting in his lap cuddling close as she yawned already ready for her nap.

Norman sighed heavily giving a small nod "Alright alright." He murmured looking at the doctor as he came in 'Well Mr.Reedus you are very lucky. Another 2 inches and you would have some nerve damage.'

Jeffery smiles and nods. “Sure baby.” He murmurs and picks her up. He puts on her favorite movie and lays on the couch with her. He kisses her head softly and rubs her back softly.

Chleo watches them and frowns. She bites her lip and listens to the doctor. She was so afraid one of these days she was gonna get a different call.

Lyla smiled softly and cuddled him close yawning "I wuv you daddy." She whispered before she started to doze off five minutes into the movie.

Norman gave a heavy sigh and nodded "Thanks doc." He murmured before he got up and made his way to the door so he could sign his discharge papers and go home

Jeffery smiles and holds her close. “I love you too.” He murmurs and smiles at her. He holds her close and lets her sleep. He lays with her and closes his eyes.

Chleo sighs softly and follows after him. She goes to let Max know they were ready to leave and hugs her. “Thanks for bringing me. I don’t think I would have made it with how much of a mess I was.@

Max gave a soft smile to her sister "You're fine girl, will he be okay?" She asked rolling her eyes when she heard his over dramtic sighing about the pain "I'm guessing thats a yes." She said giving a small laugh

Norman sighed dramatically as he walked out "Max I'm dying!!" He whined before he made his way to the front desk with them and signed his papers. He got out and gasped taking in a deep breath to fill his lungs "Fresh air!!"

Chleo rolls her eyes a little. “He’s fine, overdramatic as ever.” She mutters and crosses her arms. She heads to the car with them and gets in the backseat. She sighs softly and lays her head agaisnt the back of the seat and rubs her bump. “I’m starving.” She mutters and closes her eyes.

Norman got into the front seat and grunted some "I'm Norman, nice to meet you." He said jokingly before he groaned and shot a glare over to Max "Chleo she hit me!" He whined

Max heard Norman's joke and punched him in the thigh smirking some "Well than stop being a grumpy pants Norman." She said glancing back at Chleo through the rear view mirror "What do you want to eat Chleo?"

Chleo rolls her eyes at Norman. “If you weren’t being stupid she wouldn’t hit you.” She tells him and horns her eyes. She looks at Max and smiles a little. “McDonald’s.” She murmurs. She had been on a strict diet lately, being so tiny and carrying large as well as this being her first pregnancy, the doctors were taking all kind of precautions, but she had been craving McDonald’s and junk food lately.

Norman frowned some shaking his head "Babe you aren't supposed to be eating stuff like that." He murmured not wanting her to get hurt

Max raised an eyebrow "Why can't she?" She asked seeing nothing wrong with a little mcdonalds here and there.

Chleo frowns. “Oh come one. I’ve been sticking to this stupid diet and somehow ignoring pregnancy cravings for seven months.” She grumbles and crosses her arms. “It’s just one time.” She whines and glares at him a little.

Norman gave a heavy sigh but soon caved seeing her puppy dog eyes "Alright fine, but just this once okay?" He said giving a small laugh as she squealed happily

Max laughed some at the two of them while she drove to the nearest Mcdonalds biting her lip softly as her mind started to drift to if this would be how her life wouldve been if her ex hadn't left her.

Chleo giggles softly and grins. She leans up and kisses his cheek softly. “Thank babe.” She murmurs soflty and rubs her belly. She leans back and closes her eyes. Soon they get home and she waddles to the table to eat.

Jeffery got up carefully when he woke up and went to call his mom, asking if she could watch Lyla for the night. He talks with her for a few minutes before texting Max the address of the restaurant.

Norman chuckled some and got inside the house sitting down to eat with her "This better be the best Mcdonalds you've ever had." he murmured glancing at Max who stood at the doorway smiling at her phone "Whats got you so smiley?" he asked as he munched on some fries.

Max got her phone out as she walked into the house when she felt it go off smiling wide as she saw it was Jeffrey. She texted him back saying she couldn't wait to see him "Nothing." she said still not able to wipe the smile off her face "So are guys good now? I um...need to go get ready." she said happily putting her phone away
