Chleo holds her close and rocks her gently. “He’s gonna be fine.” She murmurs softly and kisses her head softly. She looks at Norman when Dehlila starts fussing because she can’t see anyone. “Can you get her please babe?” She asks softly and just holds her sister. She really hoped Jeffery would be okay. She knew it would devestate Max.

Norman nodded softly and picked up Dehlila worried about his friend and hoping that everything would be alright. He knew Jeff was a strong guy and he hoped he would pull through.

Max held her sister still sobbing and shaking her head some "I don't want to loose him Chleo.." she whimpered quietly. She sat there with her sister for about 2 hours before a nurse came in to see them having remembered Max asking about Jeffrey 'Excuse me m'am....you were the woman asking about the fire fighter correct?' she asked watching Max nod frantically 'Well he is asking for you, if you follow me I can take you to him.'

Chleo watches her sister leave and sighs softly. She goes over to Norman and wraps her arms around his waist from behind. She kisses his shoulder and lays her head agaisnt his shoulder. “Are you okay?” She knew Jeffery was a really close friend.

Jeffery sits in the bed and smiles when he sees her. He reaches for her and grins. “Hey babe.” He murmurs and watches her.

Max followed the nurse and quickly rushed into the room hugging him tight "Oh god Jeffrey, you scared me so bad." She whispered crying softly as she held him before she pulled back only a bit and kissed him lovingly

Norman frowned softly looking at her "Jeffrey is a strong guy, I know he will pull through." He murmured glancing as Dehlila curled into him finding comfort in her father's arms before waking up and opening her eyes as she stared at him.

Jeffery holds her close and kisses her back softly. He pulls her down with him and holds her gently. “I’m fine.” He murmurs soflty and nuzzles his face in her neck. “Just sore and burned.”

Chleo sighs softly and nods. “You know you don’t have to be so strong baby.” She murmurs softly and kisses his shoulder again. She heads over to the chair and sits down.

Max frowned laying with him and holding him close "They said you had a lot of smoke inhalation, its why you had surgery." She whispered clutching his hand tight still scared that she would loose him

Norman looked at her shaking his head softly "Yes I do, for you and her I do." He whispered sighing heavily as he sat next to her giving a soft smile down at Dehlila as she gurgled softly

Jeffery nods a little and caresses her cheek gently. “I’m glad your here.” He murmurs softly and pulls her down to lay with him. He holds her close and smiles.

Chleo frowns. “Babe I’m not that breakable. I can handle things when you need moments to be weak.” She tells him and sighs.

Max lay with him and nodded softly "I'm glad I can be here, that they let me in." She murmured

Norman shook his head some "I'm fine babe really." He murmured trying to sound convincing for her

Jeffery holds her close and kisses her nose softly. He smiles at her and rubs her side softly. “I’m glad too.” He murmurs softly.

Chleo frowns and sighs. She shakes her head and crosses her arms. “Whatever.” She mutters soflty

Max smiled softly at him and cupped his scruffed cheek running her thumb over the top of his cheek bone "Where are your burns at?" She asked wanting to make sure she didn't hurt him.

Norman gave a soft sigh and looked over at her "I'm sorry....I just...I don't want you to worry about me okay? I promise if its anything real bad or I can't handle I'll tell you alright?" He murmured not wanting her to be upset right now.

Jeffery smiles at her and watches her. “My back mostly.” He murmurs and rubs her side. He kisses her cheek softly and lays his head in her shoulder.

Chleo looks at him and sighs. She just nods and stands back up, going to the restroom without another word.

Max nodded softly and kissed the top of his head "Do I need to call anyone and tell them you're here? Or would the chief do that?" She asked quietly

Norman sighed heavily and frowned as Dehlila started to cry loudly sounding like she was in pain. He frowned and rocked her gently not knowing that her ears would sometimes hurt from the under development

Jeffery looks at her and shakes his head. “The chief will. I’m sure my mom will be caking me soon or coming down here.” He murmurs and rubs her back softly. He wasn’t even thinking that would mean Lyla coming here and Max didn’t know about her yet.

Chleo heads back out and hears Dehlila crying. She frowns and goes over. She takes her gently and goes to grab the ear drops the nurse had left. “She needs these every once in awhile.” She murmurs softly.

Max gave a small nod and ran her fingers through his hair soothingly "Alright, well if you need anything you let me know okay?" She whispered softly to him still a little shaken up that she could have lost him today.

Norman nodded softly and frowned softly "How are we supposed to know whats too much? Or when she needs them?" He asked quietly as he stood up watching as Dehlila started to somewhat relax against Chleo staring up at her with big eyes.

Jeffery smiles and kisses her softly. “I will.” He murmurs skftly. He holds her close and nuzzles his face in her neck.

Chleo looks at him. “Only one drop in each ear and the nurse said she’d probably need them around every four hours. They won’t hurt her if we give them to her more though.” She assures him and rocks her gently.

Max smiled widely at him and sighed happily content with just staying there and holding him close to her. However their moment was interupted with his phone ringing with 'Mom' flashing across the screen.

Norman gave a small nod and smiled softly "She is so beautiful." He whispered stroking the small amount of hair that was on the baby's head "We actually made her."

Jeffery looks at his phone and picks up quickly. “I’m fine I’m fine I promise.” He tells his mom quickly and leans back a little. He holds Max hand gently and rubs it softly.

Chleo smiles a little and nods. “Yeah we did.” She murmurs softly and kisses his cheek. She rocks Dehlila gently. “I need her home though.”

Martha gave out a sigh of relief as she heard her son's voice down the line "Oh good lord you scared me to death Jeffrey! They told me you were in surgery!" She said frantically trying get all her things together along with Lyla "I'll be down there shortly with Lyla okay?"

Norman nodded some giving a soft sigh "We'll get her there babe, soon enough." He whispered kissing the top of her head repeatedly

Jeffery nods a little. “Okay. I’ll see you soon.” He murmurs softly. He hangs up and looks over at Max. He kisses her forehead softly. “You know I hate hospitals. They’re always so dang cold.” He mutters and pulls her closer. “But you’re like a radiator.”

Chleo giggles softly and smiles at him. “I’m gonna go check on Max and Jeff real quick.” She murmurs and hands Dehlila to him and heads out.

Max gave a small laugh shaking her head some "Nah you're the radiator. I think I might just be stealing your heat." She said kissong his cheek gently before she turned her attention to the door waving at her sister "Hey whats up?"

Norman sighed heavily and nodded sitting down as she left looking at Dehlila worriedly "Oh little one...what am I going to do?" He whispered

Jeffery chuckles and looks up at Chleo. “Hey there.” He murmurs and holds Max close. He kisses her shoulder softly.

Chleo smiles a little at them. “Hey guys. I just wanted to check in on you guys.” She murmurs softly and leans agaisnt the doorframe.

Max smiled softly at her sister "We're doing alright in here, this big oaf is going to be just fine, minus a few burns and a very sore throat." she said nudging Jeffrey's side playfully looking over at her sister again worry still in her eyes because she knew Jeff would be in here for a few days for observation.

Chleo laughs softly and smiles. “Well that’s good.” She murmurs softly and goes over to them. She rubs her sisters abcl. “If you guys need anything let us know.”

Jeffery smiles and nods. “My moms gonna be here soon. Can you meet her and show her where I am?” He asks soflty and smiles when Chleo agrees.

Max smiled softly pulling her phone out as it went off frowning deeply "Shit...babe I gotta go, its work. My co-worker called in sick, huge family shoot scheduled." she said softly before she kissed him lovingly "I'll be back later okay?" she said quietly
