Hi! Here’s the questions that’ve been floating around in my head, apologies by the way for the amount of them:

1) Is the ship made more for long distance travel (I.e. galaxy hopping-ish) or short (I.e. only just enough to escape from the aliens)?

2) This one kind of depends on the answer to #1, but what’s the general travel speed of the ship? As in, pulling a noumenon-esque idea with cloning pods or simply like a medium sized jump ship.

3) With the whole alien invasion, what type of tech would be left on earth to use on the ship?

-Quick follow ups:​

• Is artificial gravity a thing?
• How’s the food supply?
• This one’s a bit of a stretch, but is limited AI available to the humans?

4) Have the humans been able to steal parts and integrate some of the alien tech with theirs, or is their own ingenuity able to stand by itself without the extra boost?

Once again, sorry for so many questions, the possibilities and details are really intriguing.

Okay, great Haha, no problem, I'll do my best =P

1) Long distance travel, as the crew members are looking to find a new habitable planet that will support human life. To do this, they have to to be able to travel impressive distances. Also, they need to distance themselves from their own planet in case the aliens decide a new planet is needed and everything starts all over again.

2) I hadn't really considered that, lol, but I would say the second.

3) When the ship was under construction, they pretty much sucked all the resources from across the globe to create one massive, durable ship far beyond any existing technology. There are methods of recycling and creating food and water so they can last longer without resupplying, advanced piloting/navigation, and new mapping systems that help to identify and explore potential homes before actually travelling there.

As for your follow ups:

a. Yes, artificial gravity IS used aboard the ship, but it's dicey and is known to unpredictably shut down for a bit. Typically, though, the problem is minor and can be fixed in a matter of hours.​

b. As I mentioned, there are ways of recycling food and water. Otherwise, though, they have food stocked up to last around a year (lotsss of food XD)​

c. For this, I would say no. The computers are advanced and can offer troubleshooting on board the Savior and in navigating the space around, but they're not particularly advanced, even compared to where we are today.​

4) No, humans have not been able to put any alien technology into use. Everything on the ship is entirely man made.
