The world is dominated by men, and the greater the magical ability the higher his nobility. The King of course being the highest possibility, the world is run by men and women are treated as slaves or just pretty objects. Meant to look good, but aren't allowed to do anything, women are often executed for just touching a book or for merely dropping a plate. Our story begins in (Your Characters name) manor, where he is the next in line to be King and the Kings most trusted advisor. (Your Character) had put out an ad in the newspaper and on the telly looking for new butler since his last one had recently passed. That's where Candice comes in, she needing money for her sick mother and not able to do anything else dresses up as a man and applies for the job, having magical ability that could rival the kings, she tweaks the magical tests that are required to apply for the job and gets in without a hitch. Finally makes it to the final test which is a simple task of staying by (Your character) for a assigned day and (Your character) decides whom you like best.
