Starting Scene
It is late morning in the village of Enden. The sun is shining and people are out of their homes and enjoying the sunlight. Friends gather in the tavern or square, hunters are bringing in there hunt, and guards are coming in and out of the barracks. Now would be the perfect time to meet some new friends.

Basically, just interact with other characters wherever they may be. If they're not in town yet, get 'em in.

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, I'm LATE!

Rena screams frantically within the bounds of her mind.
By TWO hours, no less!

As she reaches a familiar sight, her eyes glow with hope, only to quickly weaken and water.
"No, no, no!" Her eyes dart through the window desperately, scanning the empty authorative desk, quiet atmosphere and leftover pile of books. Her knees collapse impulsively, as she grabs the window frame for support. I can't believe I missed it!... Freya Lizantoth's one and only book-signing event!

Noticing the stares of the passerbys, she quickly wipes her tears away, slightly embarrassed, and walks towards her inn.
I wasted so much money travelling here... it was an eight-hour journey! I don't even have a ride back till tomorrow evening...Ugh... She begins to feel worse and worse, thinking about all the repercussions. The sunlight generously showers her skin, perhaps taking mercy, but only making her feel worse. Her walking speed begins to slow and her head falls.

Literally moments later, as she begins to recover from her slump, she raises her head unconsciously, only to realise:
"Huh? Where am I?" She whips her head left and right. All she notices, are unfamiliar signs and empty roads. Quickly, she begins to panic. "Hello? Anyone?" She projects her voice loudly, but with a clear sense of alarm in her voice. "Does anyone know the way to the Moonlight Inn?"

Daron wasn't sure why he was out this early today. In fact, it was rare for him to be out of the house during the day at all. He normally slept after whatever escapades he got up to the evening prior. Less stealing, killing and other crimes these days, though still just as much drinking, prowling for ladies, gambling, and other actually legal yet still thrilling activities. Daron simply could not get enough vice, enough thrill, enough excitement.

Hands in his pockets, he meandered down the street at a leisurely pace. He had felt an odd need to go outside and see what's up in town, but he was about to give up and go back home as it seemed that nothing interesting was happening.

That's when he heard her: a confused-sounding, feminine voice shouting "Hello? Anyone?" The voice was coming from one of the side streets nearby, which was quite rarely used. The only reason Daron knew it so well was because of his history of not-so-wholesome nightly activities. Curious about how this confused-sounded girl had ended up there, Daron decided to rush over to her, instntly noticing the only figure nearby, which fittingly was a very lost-looking, short (and admittedly rather cute) girl. "The moonlight inn? I can show you. Name's Daron, by the way." He smirked at the girl. Being so forward with women came as second nature to him with all the practice he's had, if one could call it "practice". Daron jerked his head towards the direction he remembered the inn being in. "Let's go, I don't have all day." In truth, he really did have all day, but she didn't need to know that.

The cold early morning air was an unwelcome sensation as Lucy breathed into her hands for warmth. She wished that she could have been able to simply go back to sleep in the warm beds on the inn, but she had business to attend to. The sack of coins at her side jingled slightly as a reminder of her job. She was to go into town and purchase supplies for her family, however she had run into a complication when a traveler that her family had robbed recognized her and called the guards. She had spent the rest of the night ducking in and out of alleyways avoiding the guard until she managed to slip back into the inn she was staying at. "Why did I have to get the supplies, father should have came instead."

Still, it wasn't all bad. This early in the morning the guards were still waking up which meant it was the perfect time to scout some potential targets. As Lucy ducked out of an alley onto an isolated side street she came across 2 other people walking along the street. One man and one woman, and it seemed like the woman was in some sort of distress.

"Perfect" Lucy said to herself as she made her wat towards the duo. Walking behind the woman she reached behind her and grabbed one of her axes in one hand. Letting out a loud whistle she started to flip her axe in the air and called out "hey there, you look like you could use some help lightening your pockets. Mind if I help?"

(Wrote this on my phone, sorry if there are any mistakes)

Elijah Foster
It was an oddly chilly morning at the time. The sun, while exceptionally bright as always, was covered by a thick layer of pure white clouds, resulting in today's frigid air. Elijah sat at an empty table in Enden's local inn, casually shining his halberd with a spare cloth. A jovial smile upon his lips, he brandished the weapon a few times once he was finished, which frightened the nearby patrons. He barely seemed to notice them, though, as he was far too busy admiring the versatile polearm that had been his companion for several years.

Elijah finally nodded after a while, satisfied with his handiwork. Standing up, he nonchalantly left the premises of the inn, seemingly oblivious to the sighs of relief that followed after his departure. His ice blue gaze roamed across the village's bustling streets, before landing on a certain woman ducking into nearby alley. Thinking back, he recalled that the pathway lead to a rather isolated street with no particular point of interest, so it was a wonder why she would bother going there at all.

His interest having been piqued, Elijah weaved his way through the crowd of people with relative ease, intending to follow the woman and see where she would take him. Taking swift yet silent steps, he cautiously peered around the corner where she had disappeared to, only to be met with quite the sight. Who would have thought that he would see a robbery being committed right before his eyes? Now normally, any righteous man would swoop in and save the day like the knights you would see in fairytales. Unfortunately, however, he was no righteous man.

A mercenary at heart, Elijah would only commit such virtuous deeds when there was something in it for him. He wasn't the type to do things without a reward of some sort. Of course, that didn't mean that he was amoral. If things got out of hand, he would immediately step in without much thought, but until then, he would content himself with watching how things turn out for the three of them.

It had been on overall irritating morning for him so far. Asher had woken up long before the sun had risen to hunt by the remaining moonlight. Without any hunt within a few hours, unknown to him, he decided to call it off till a later time. He had enough money at the moment, no need to heavy his pockets. Asher walked into his small house to set down some of his hunting equipment. Baits, some arrows, a trap or two. All he had now were the knives he always had on him, his bow around his shoulder, and roughly 10 arrows in the quiver. He grabbed his pouch of coins, wanting to go to the tavern for a bite to eat, and exited his home.

After a timely walk through the beaten path to town he took a seat a bench in the middle of the square. His hood was up and covering his face. To some guards, he would appear as a thief, waiting for his next victim. As the town got a little busier, he lifted his head a little more. To his surprise, someone was already in the need of help. It was a small woman. Short, deep blue hair. She was asking for the Moonlight Inn. He had heard of the place, it was a relatively new addition to the village. It appeared that someone else, a man, had offered his assistance to her in finding the inn. Resting back down, he watched the two move down the street, half-expecting them to get together in someway. His rest was interrupted though as someone else entered the scene. It appeared to be a thief as they approached the two from behind. Looking to the guard barracks, they appeared to be preoccupied with something else. Asher to the rescue I suppose he thought as he readied his bow. With a draw back and an arrow knocked, he aimed right in front of the thief's face. "Don't hit" he said softly as he released. His aim never fails him as the arrow struck the wood of the building next to the building. The arrow crossed right in front of the thief, almost hitting them in the nose. "Whoa there, don't need that happening miss" he said loudly to the womanly thief.

Fuck, it's gonna be one of those days huh? She thought to herself as she ran, a trio of guards chasing her. Pandora ran through a crowd of people in an attempt to lose the guards, weaving through people. This proved useless though, as people parted to let the guards through. And fuck this law abiding place. She cursed as she continued running, heading towards the more secluded area in the village.

This was supposed to be an easy job. This village was a bit out of the way from the main road and people around here tend to be more ignorant and easier to scam. She was selling her 'famous' love tonics. It supposedly makes you more attractive and also makes you last longer in bed. It was going well, people here were gullible enough that it was funny. If not for the moron who drank the tonic right in front of her. The man had been interested in Pandora, which was a big oversight for her. The man vomited, his faced murderous as he threw the bottle at her, she dodged it though. It wasn't strange for him to react that way seeing that the potion was just horse piss and a few dye and flowers mixed in it.

And so here she was, running from the guards. She ran towards an alley, and as luck would have it, something far more suspicious than her was occuring. There was a lady with an axe in her hands, seemingly robbing two lovebirds. A man stepped in to save them however as he was pointing a bow with an arrow knocked at the axe girl's direction. Or he could he robbing the axe girl as well as the lovers. There was even a voyeur peeking around te corner, watching the scene unfold.

Oh man, I'm so lucky. She grinned as she ran towards that alley. She 'accidentally, ran towards the archer then proceeding to bump the axe girl. "I-I'm sorry." She timidly said, as if she was afraid they'd point their weapons at her before continuing to run away. All's well ends well. She thought, having pocketed two pouches of money. She subtly slashed the cords connecting the pouches to their persons when she ran into them, the knife hidden just inside her sleeve. "Have fun suckers." She mumbled as she continued running.

Things were going pretty well if Lucy had to be honest. The morning sun was starting to warm up her body and her attempted robbery had gotten off to a good start. Well that was until an arrow almost took her head off of her shoulders. "Shit" she flinched and cursed as she turned to look for whoever had fired that arrow. Her eyes settled on the form of a man who's face was partially hidden by his hood. He cautioned her that they didn't need "that" happening which made Lucy roll her eyes at how cliche he sounded. Most travelers who fancied themselves as heroes had spoken similar lines, and almost every time they did it would end up with them flat on their asses.

"Look man I don't know who you are or why you care, but you seem to have the wrong idea. You see I'm robbing these people but I have to intention of harming th-" Her speech was cut short as a red headed woman bumped into her and mumbled an apology before running off. Brushing herself off Lucy continued "Of harming them, I'm not a murderer." Her free hand fell to her side as she explained her position to the archer, however the sudden lack of her coin sack had her pause for a few seconds. Turning to look at the now fleeting form of the girl who had bumped into her pure rage bubbled up and exploded from her mouth "AHHHHHH GODS DAMMIT. I'LL CUT OUT YOUR INTESTINES AND HANG YOU WITH THEM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN SO EVERYONE CAN WATCH YOU DIE!" With that Lucy started to full on sprint after the now escaping girl, completely forgetting her previous marks as she reached back and took her other axe into her off hand. "I WILL FEED YOU YOUR OWN EYES!"

Ebbi yawned loudly, her morning had started far too early to the point that she wasn't sure when her night had ended and the morning had begun. She walked to the inn, covered in soot and sweat with a package under her arms that she had taken all night making/repairing. She cracked her shoulders and rolled her neck, getting to the inn very early in the morning and walking straight into the kitchen.
"Umm everything's fixed ladies and gentlemen, we sharpened the knives for free. All perfect for the lovely inn" She smiled, handing everything over and sitting down in the corner of the eating area, taking an already filthy cloth and wiping the as much of the mess off as she can before nodding off into a slight nap.

Which was completely ruined by the slightly distant but distinct sounds of screaming and shouting. Groaning she opened her eyes as slowly and reluctantly as she could, zombie walking over to the door passed the concerned looking patrons and workers. Walking down the road, following the sound to its source.
"Look, people, you're disturbing the peace can you..." She paused as the women started screaming and running away.
"Or do that, that's good" She squeaked, mostly in pure shock and walked over to the bow-wielding man. "Um sir, is everything alright?"

Watching the scene unfold before his very eyes, Elijah could hardly reign in his laughter at what had transpired. In the span of a single minute, more and more people flooded into the once isolated street, simply adding to the chaos with their actions. Whether it was someone who fancied playing hero or someone complaining about the noise they were making, they only served to make the event even more amusing. In fact, this was almost as entertaining as the time his father- You know what, nevermind. If he recalled any more of that specific incident, he really won't be able to hold himself back from laughing. And who knows how they would react to knowing that there was someone hysterically cackling in an alleyway?

Wiping away imaginary tears, Elijah pondered to himself about whether or not he should reveal himself. Making up his mind in less than a second later, he casually walked out of the pathway and into the street almost everyone else was in. Acting as though he was simply looking around, once his ice blue eyes landed on the admittedly unique group of people, he flashed them an amiable smile and a friendly wave.

Noticing the sound of rapid footsteps, she looked over to find a tall man rushing towards her. For a moment, it looked as if he was about to charge right through her, so she tensed herself up unintentionally. But very quickly, she relaxed, hearing his words. "Oh, um, thank you!" She says after a pause, as she hurries to catch up to his quick walking pace. I'm glad there are still people who are willing to rush to help someone. She smiles to herself. Suddenly a loud whistle rips the air behind her, as a strong hand grips her shoulder. "Um, I do-don't actually need any help thank you. I ki-kind of have nothing-g of value on me an-anyway." She stutters in a panic, to the intimidating young thief behind her. It was true though, she never carries valuable objects on her anymore. She knows far too well how clumsy she is; she only ever carries money when she goes out with the sole intent of going shopping.

Suddenly, just as she finished talking, an arrow flew past threatening to behead the female thief. Ever more distressed by the situation, she merely plays a witness to the following thievery accompanied by an impressively loud scream of rage.
Wow, why is there so much violence in such a small village? Partially confused by the whole scenario, she nods her (unsure)thanks to the archer before walking off in the opposite direction of the inn, completely missing the young mans subtle entrance to the right of her. "Um, it was this way right?" She timidly asks the tall man who stood by her, trying to calm herself down and set her mind straight.

Asher rolled his eyes at the woman as she tried to explain herself. It was funny how some think they can play off stealing. He was about to approach when another womanly figure ran by and quite literally stole the show. As armored guards followed behind her and the ax
wielder doing the same, Asher was about to pursue when another woman seemed to ask him if the situation was alright. With a grin and a quiet chuckle, he turned to her with an answer. "In a sense" he said as he looked in the thieves' direction. This time he took notice to the boy who had stepped into the scene and waved. Giving a wave back, he walked into the inn behind the two from before. "What a morning" he said.

"You're welcome," Daron replied to the small, timid bgirl in a suave manner. Daron could tell if he had a chance with a girl, and he smiled to himself as he thought that this was one of those cases. The cute and shy ones were always his favorite. Maybe this could become something more than a short fling, for once. A man could dream.

Suddenly, way too many things happened for Daron to keep track of. He'd had his fair share of crazy city nights, but first of all it was broad daylight, and second of all the two thieves that ended up rushing the scene were idiots in his opinion. You learn a lot about these things having a past like Daron's. Out of reflex, he tried to step between the woman the axe-wielding thief, grabbing his dagger, when suddenly an arrow whizzed past, more people with more roles in this situation than he could ever fathom and count arrived, and the girl he'd approached just ended up walking the opposite direction that he'd been leading her. All Daron got out of this was, there was an archer trying to shoot the thieves, a man lurking nearby that suddenly stepped out and waved, and someone running away with two bags of coins in broad daylight. He stared blankly at everyone here, blinked a few times, then said "You're all nuts. Go do something productive with your lives, like adventure or something. I'm considering it." His tone was deadpan, and he simply turned as the girl walked off and walked with her. "Just ignore those wierdos," he said to her.

Only then did he remember, after all this chaos, that she was going to the wrong way. "No but, I guess we can circle back around... or go to a different inn, this one seems pretty dangerous right now. Just stick with me, the streets aren't safe for a girl like you to be on her own." After all that, his priority remained the same: help this girl out, act sweet on her, and hope something happens. He's pretty sure he had it all figured out. If anyone else tried to mess with her he'd break out his daggers, look like a hero, and his chances would only increase. Yep. He had it all figured out. He was certain.

"Well to be honest, the hooded archer and the thief that ran by saved me from losing any belongings. So I shouldn't just ignore that. I'll repay the favour if I meet them again." She smiles in response, personally, she always felt that good deeds were not acknowledged enough. "Um, I've actually already booked my room for today at the Moonlight Inn, before I...uh.." She trails off remembering the earlier, sadder scenario today. "Before I went to the library." She finishes quickly, trying not to stall their conversation. But clearly, her mood has strained. "So I don't really have a choice, but thank you for your concern, you're a really nice person." With a simple, careful twirl, she begins re-tracing her steps. "Sorry, I don't know how I started going the opposite direction, probably too baffled from the earlier scene. Oh, you told me your name earlier right? Daron?" She grins cheerfully, clearly forgetting her earlier depression and confusion."My name's Rena, Rena Khalsu."

As she approaches the clear, wooden sign labelling the building 'Moonlight Inn', she smiles at the familiarity.
"Okay, this is far enough. You don't have to take me any farther. You said you didn't have all day right? Sorry for taking your valuable time!" She bows deeply, with a look of sincere apology. So many people helped me out today...She begins to try and think of ways to repay the favour. "Um, if you need any help before I leave tomorrow evening, you can let me know! To be honest, I'll be spending all my time at the local library. So you will probably find me there." Yes, Freya was not the only reason for this trip. I still have plenty of books to borrow from the library here. Like 'Reptiles Of The Realm'. It's fine. This trip was not a complete waste. She attempts to thoroughly revitalise herself, as she waits for Daron to leave, so she can wave goodbye as a form of courtesy.

Daron found himself grinning and chuckling a little at her words. She was so innocent and caring... he hoped the world didn't strip that of her soon, he knew how cruel it could be. His face dropped for just a moment, before he then managed to maintain his earlier smile. He nodded in understanding as she said she'd already booked a room at the Moonlight Inn and simply began to wordlessly beckon her back in that direction, beginning to walk and laughing quite loudly as she called him a nice person. "I'm just nice when I'm getting something out of it... such as such lovely time with a cutie like you." He winked and smiled a devilish smile. It was the truth, in addition to a flirty statement. For a thief, he'd always been quite the honest one.

Daron shrugged and playfully ruffled the girl's hair as she apologized for heading the opposite direction. "Nothing to be sorry about, people make mistakes," he said sincerely. He smiled when he heard her name, and bowed to her elegantly as any true gentleman would. "Good to meet you, Rena. My full name's Daron Reaves. Only fair, since you gave me yours. Just don't go mentioning my full name to guards or anyone like that."

Daron looked almost disappointed for a moment when Rena said that this was far enough, but he smiled and nodded courteously. Being overly pushy was no way to get a girl. He was quite disappointed indeed to hear that she'd be leaving in a day, but that just meant he'd have to pile on the charm so that she'd go out of her wait to see him later on, whenever she had a chance. Wasn't too difficult from past experience. It was funny, he'd moved on from stealing objects to stealing girls' hearts in the last few years... not illegal, but just as dangerous in a way, which is part of why he liked it so much, other than having women fall for him and getting them in bed, of course.

However, he held in his disappointment and courteously smiled at her, nodding. "I'll see if I can think of something..." he said with a sultry tone to his voice. "I'll definitely come visit you tomorrow. Stay safe. And if you run into more trouble, I live in the house on the left at the end Marrow Street, just take a left then a right from the inn and you'll be there. See ya later, Rena." Wit that ,Daron walked off with his hands in his pockets, a smile on his face as he headed back into his abode. Tonight he'd go poke around the vicinity of the inn and get rid of any ruffians he saw, hoping Rena woke up due to the commotion and saw him fighting them off. Yep, he was pretty sure he had all of this pretty well figured out.

"Okay, thank you! Goodbye! Take care of yourself!" She waves to him cheerfully. Wait, where did he say he lived again? At...the end of Marrow Street, the right house? A left...and then a right...or was it the other way round? "Errr..." Nevermind then, he said he'll visit me tomorrow, so I'll ask then. I should remember to bring a notebook. She smiles as she thinks of him, whilst patting down the hair that he ruffled. He's an interesting guy, I wonder why I shouldn't mention his name to the guards. He was a little strange though...she thinks as she remembers him saying that he will 'definitely' visit her. Anyway, I should head inside.

As she enters the warm atmosphere of the inn, she breathes a sigh of relief, as her body unconsciously relaxes against the temperature. She smiles at the kind old innkeeper and his wife, before heading up the recently polished wooden staircase. Her eyes lock on to a few quaint plants here and there, as she walks through the narrow hallway leading to her room.
"Room 13.." She whispers to herself, as she unlocks the door quietly. Noticing the room exactly as she left it, she sighs in relief. Afterall, she has been robbed a total of 3 times during her many stays at inns.

After unpacking her backpack filled with Freyas books, she leaves her empty bag to the side, so that she can pack a small lunch for tomorrow. "Oh I almost forgot." She quickly puts a small notebook in the front pocket of her bag. "Hmm, what should I do." She says quietly, noticing the sun still high in the sky. After a few moments of contemplation, she decides to make a short list of the books to borrow, before heading out for lunch nearby.

Pandora had thought that things were looking up for her. The guards were no longer on her trail, she scored two pouches of gold, and no seemed to be after her. It was a good day's work, well, at least that's what she thought until she heard someone shouting at her and cursing her. She turned her head to find the axe girl furiously chasing her, axes swinging as she run. "Oh shit!" She cursed as she ran even harder. Oh well, she shouldn't have been surprised since thieves were the most sensitive about being robbed.

And so here they were, a thief chasing another thief for stealing her money. There's a joke to be made here somewhere, but Pandora isn't feeling all to witty especially when a certain someone wants to feed her own eyeballs to her. "Well I can't eat my eyeballs if I'm fucking dead, so pick one!" She shouted as she heaved herself up a low-hanging roof, continuing to run above the rooftops and hoping that the axe girl isn't nimble nor agile enough to chase her up there.

"THEN I'LL FEED YOU YOUR EYES AND THEN HANG YOU, SEE I CAN COMPROMISE !" To say that Lucy was mad was a severe understatement. If there was one thing that she couldn't stand it was underhanded thieves. It may have been hypocritical but she didn't quite care for that right now. Her only focus was catching that thief and making good on her promise. The thief had lifted herself onto a low hanging roof in an attempt to escape which made Lucy grin. You didn't live in the forest for your whole life and not learn how to climb.

Reversing her grip on her axes Lucy jumped forward and hooked the sharpened backs into the roof. She then used those axes to pull herself up onto the roof before giving chase after the fleeting thief. Feat pounding on the sloped roofs she lowered her stance to give her more stability without sacrificing too much speed. "GIVE ME BACK MY POUCH AND I'LL CONSIDER LETTING YOU KEEP BOTH OF YOUR ARMS."

Elijah Foster
Once the street was emptied of it's other unique patrons, Elijah was left standing alone on the cobblestone path. The young man's smile seemed to widen if that was even possible. As memorable as that event was, it was time for him to start another long day of work. He turned heel and walked off, intent on finding a job that'll put food on the table for the week. It didn't really matter to him what kind of job it would be. Regardless of whether it was hunting down miscreants or acting as someone's bodyguard, as long as it paid him good money, he didn't particulary mind what he would be doing.

"See ya, you too Rena," Daron replied casually, walking away and waving with the back of his hand while he grinned. He continued down the street, watching some thief being chased by an axe wielder as he sauntered on by. "Idiots..." he muttered under his breath. "Hey lady, just drop the bag of coins before you lose your head!" He shouted after the thief, cupping his hands and hoping the sound reach her. The woman showed promise and Daron had nothing against that life as he'd lived it and would go back if he could. Being constantly watched by the city guard and being threatened with life in the dungeons if he committed just one more crime, no matter how serious, made it pretty impossible though. shout alerted a few nearby guards, which caused Daron to chuckle. It was pretty sweet seeing the guards chase someone else... it was still a novelty to him.
Shotgunpenguin Shotgunpenguin CrimsonEclipse CrimsonEclipse

As he nonchalantly kept walking, Daron's mind wandered back towards Rena. She was really damn cute. Daron had always had a thing for the bubbly innocent types, and he wasn't sure why. Opposites attract, he supposed. He looked greatly forward to seeing her tomorrow, but the first order of business was to see what sort of change he could scrounge up for the evening.

His life really hadn't changed all that much since he became number one on the town's watch list, since he'd also become a contact for the guards regarding crimes in the city. He knew names, hideout and drug lab locations, dead drops, and a whole slew of other things about the local underworld. He gets his tracks covered by the guards so that his former cohorts still think he's in the dungeons rotting away, and he gets paid for every bit of info he gave. As if that wasn't enough, they also overlooked the crimes of a small network of people he still trusted as long as they fed him intel on thier comparitively worse cohorts so that they can keep getting more info from Daron. All in all, it was a pretty good deal. It just wasn't exciting or dangerous enough. If he didn't find something that got his blood pumping constantly, he felt like he'd go nuts.

That was why he decided to make pursuing Rena his next big ambition. Seducing girls was just as thrilling as a heist for him. The only problem was, once the chase and then his first tryst with the girl was over, he found himself bored of her. Being tied down wasn't his thing. Still... something about Rena felt more promising than any other girl he'd had his eyes on before... he couldn't quite pin down what, but it made him even more excited to see her tomorrow.

Later that night, Daron found himself hanging around the moonlight in, looking for one of his contact. He tried to peek into a few of the windows to see where Rena was, but the way all the curtains were drawn he couldn't see anyone inside a room that looked like her.

Suddenly, he heard a clamor of footsteps nearby, two pair of footsteps. Instinctively, he drew his shortsword and hid with his back against the building, peering around the corner towards the source of the noise as he drew his hood just in case anyone recognized him. there his contact was, but she was being chased by another cloaked man. Probably someone who'd found out about her feeding info to someone and wanted to capture her and torture Daron's name right out her.

Not on Daron's watch.

There was quite the noisy scuffle happening just below Rena's window now, Daron dashing after the man and meeting his daggers with his trusty shortsword, the clashing of steel ringing out below. "Run, Naera," he called to the woman he'd come to meet, and she nodded and ran off without so much as a thank you. Typical. Naera was goregous, but not Daron's type, and her attitude was one of the reasons why.

Daron skillfully fought the other cloaked man, the ruckus loud enough to be heard by Rena. In the end, the now injured assailant fleed and Daronsheathed his shortsword, before looking towards the windows. He saw Rena in one of them, and put a finger to his lips in a "ssh" motion, lowering his hood to reveal his face to her. He took out a notpad and quill, and quickly jotted down "meet me on the first floor if you want to talk." He held the note up to her for a few seconds, before pocketing it, raising his hood again, and walkingaround the back of the inn. He went inside, orered a drink and waited for Rena to come down, deciding to leave if she didn't show in around ten minutes.

Before she knew it, time had flown by, and Rena had created the longest, most comprehensive list of books to borrow, ever. It was a meter long-list! Only now does she notice her starving stomach, fatigued wrist and worn-out left hand. "Um....what...happened?" She can't help but ask out loud. It was as if time had magically flown by, in an instant(Wink wink)! As she slowly begins to fix this mess, and prepares herself to head downstairs for a late meal, a scuffle of noise suddenly catches her attention. Gazing at the beautiful moonlit sky above, before reaching the window sill, as soon as she looks down she notices a small battle of some-sort.

There was a hooded man with a familiar figure, wielding a small, unidentifiable blade, and a more heavily cloaked man, wielding smaller, twin knives. She watched as a woman fled the scene, curiously perplexed by the entire event. Remembering how Daron said it 'wasn't safe', she understood why a bit better now.
Crime and violence appears in this village quite frequently...She thinks to herself. It was odd that this village was in such a state, seeing how quaint and petite it usually appears.

Noticing the battles ending, the winner looked up at her suddenly. For just a second, a sudden fear took over her mind.
What if he comes to 'silence' me? Quickly, however, his face was revealed, with a small 'shh' motion. Giggling a little, she reads the note carefully before smiling at him with a light nod. For some reason, she felt a sense of great joy as she realized it was Daron. It was puzzling to her, in all honesty. She had met him only a short few hours ago, afterall. She snaps out of her thoughts, as her stomach rumbles painfully. With a sigh, she exits her room.

Carefully heading downstairs, she peeks her head down, to see that the place wasn't very busy tonight. There were only a few groups of people here and there, mainly at tables. Easily, she spots the suspiciously hooded man at the bar. Giving a small, slightly timid wave, she walks over quickly and sits herself down next to him.
"Care to explain yourself?" She grins cheerfully.

The day just keeps getting worse. Sure, the axe girl is still on her trail, but at least she can understand that. Thieves are more sensitive to being pickpocketed than other people, so what the axe girl is doing is still logical to her. What's not is when a guy, a guy who the axe girl was supposed to rob, would fucking shout at her and practically calling her a thief! What dis she even do to him?! Can't he just let me be?!

Of course, the fucking guards just had to hear that, and of course one of those guards just had to have recognized her. Oh yeah, her day just got so much fucking better! "Fuck you ASSHOLE!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs at the man who was nonchalantly walking away. Thankfully though, the guards were not good enough to get on the roof, bad news was that they were awaiting her on the ground. And so she had to do something really, really stupid.

The girl and her had been chasing each other just a bit above ground level, just the roof of the one story buildings. Pandora had to take this chase to higher heights. Pandora clambered up the side of a building, using her daggers and pipes as handholds to reach the top of the building. It was risky, running this high up the ground, but what choice did she have? She made sure to kick off the pipe to at least make it a bit hard for the girl. She continued to run, jumping over the gaps between the buildings. Hopefully she'll stop chasing her.

"HA SERVES YOU RIGHT, THAT'LL TEACH YOU TO STEAL FROM A THIEF!" Okay so maybe shouting out at the top of her lungs that she was also a thief wasn't the best thing Lucy could have done at that moment, but it didn't matter. She had avoided the guards all night yesterday and that was on ground level so she wasn't too worried. What she was worried about however was the fact that the female thief didn't stop like Lucy had hoped. No the thief began to scale one of the larger buildings and by the looks of it the girl was as experienced with climbing as Lucy was. When she reached the top of the building the thief kicked down some of the pipes that she had used to climb up herself, making it that much harder for Lucy to pursue.

"OH COME ON, DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO BE A DICK? BECAUSE YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A HUGE DICK RIGHT NOW!" Lucy was in a bad spot now. It was going to take longer to scale the building than it had the other thief and she didn't feel like fighting her way to ground level to try and catch her when she inevitably came down. A dumb idea came to Lucy's mind as she looked over to an adjacent building that bordered a slightly larger building that the one the woman had climbed. Backing up to gain speed Lucy sprinted and jumped towards the other rooftop, her ribs slamming painfully into the structure before she scrambled to climb on top of it. After that was done Lucy was ready to enact her second phase of her plan. Quickly scaling the building she breathed heavily as she hefted herself onto the top of the building and spotted the thief running ahead of her on top of the adjacent roofs.

"Why is she so god damn fast?" Lucy asked herself as she forced her body to move across the rooftops adjacent to the thief. Putting on an extra burst of speed Lucy managed to get a building sized lead in front of the thief before letting out a final rage filled shout as she jumped towards the roof of the other building, hoping to crash into the thief when she landed. Two things went through her mind as she flew through the air. The first one she thought to herself. "How did my day end up like this?" She was more vocal about her second thought though. "OH SHIT WINDOW!" With a loud crash Lucy's body smashed through the buildings upper window, her body painfully rolling to a stop on the hard wood flooring of what appeared to be a storage space of sorts. Groaning Lucy slowly dragged herself onto one knee as she placed both of her hands onto the floor to steady herself. Heavily breathing she remained there for a few seconds in silence before she let out a weak "Dammit" as she rose to her feet.

She had no time to lose, she needed to get back to the inn fast before those guards came in and got to her. Throwing herself against a wall to help steady herself Lucy slowly began to limp her way towards the stairwell leading to the bottom of the building. The rest of her time was spent hiding behind barrels and crates while slowly moving towards the direction of the inn. It was dark by the time she arrived by the inn as she clumsily stumbled into the main area of the inn. Limping towards the bar while holding her right shoulder she pretty much collapsed onto the nearest seat and rested her head against the cool polished wood. She ordered a cup of ale and let out a large sigh wishing that this day would have never happened.

As he walked back home, his back turned to the thieves caught in a cat-and-mouse case upon the rooftops, Daron chuckles under his breath at the profane insult. She certainly had the mouth of a career criminal as well. "You'll thank me later!" He quipped back loudly. He admitted that she probably wouldn't thank him at all (to himself only), but only because she refused to drop the bag of coins like he suggested. Either way, he let the screaming of the mad axewoman be his soundtrack on the walk home, the man clearly desensitized to the scene. Living in this town, especially being part of the problem with it for so long, does that to a man.

Sitting in the Inn hours later, Daron took a deep breath and stretched out as he waited for Rena. He had a feeling she'd show, as he could tell when he's got a girl interested. Sure enough, he saw her timidly poking her head down the stairs just a few moments later. He smiled at her waved, giving one back. The bartender gave Daron a suspicious look when he saw him waving over a n innocent young girl, but he ignored the man. He'd have to be careful not to say anything too provocative or try to coax her out of the inn, lest the man call the guards over a misuderstanding. Well, at least half a misurderstanding. he'd love if he was able to seduce her, but he wasn't going to take her against her will, hurt her or anything like that if he got her where he wanted her.

Rena's question snapped the hooded man out of his gutterbound thoughts, Daron clearing his throat before meeting rena's eyes attentively and beginning to explain. "Well, " he said, taking a sip of his beer while still leaning back in his seat comfortably, "revealing too much here would be... unwise, but suffice to say I went to see a friend, that man was after her and I gave her a hand. She'll have to hide for a while now, his friends'll be onto her. " Daron sighed, rubbing his temples. "But you don't need to get caught up in my troubles. If you really want to know more, perhaps I could help escort you out of town when you leave tomorrow?" After her answer, he attempted to keep going far away from that topic, as for various reasons about the last thing he wanted was for her to ask for further details about his earlier escapdes right here and now. "You look hungry. Want something to eat, on me?" He smiled warmly at the girl. Whether she agreed or bought the food herself, the girl seemed famished and so ended up getting some food. "So," Daron began after the table was set, "tell me about yourself, Rena."

Interesting day Asher thought to himself as he ripped the arrow from the wood of the building. First, no hunt, then he saved some people from a thief. What could be next, dragons? As the distant sounds of angered shouts and the clanking of the guards' armor faded Asher returned to the bench from before as a few more guards came running out of the barracks. He tried to recollect what had happened so far today in detail. His train of thought was interrupted by the increasing number of people that came out and onto the streets. Before he knew it he had been sitting there for an hour. "Damn. Well, I should find something to do" he muttered to himself as he stood up from the bench. In his peripherals he could see the guards outside the barracks put there hands on their swords. They seem a little on edge he thought as he walked towards the alleyway separating the tavern and a home and climbed to the top. Getting a better view of the town, he sat there, almost looking like he was waiting for something. He was bored. He didn't want to go back out and hunt nor did he want to further pursue the thieves. He just sat there for the rest of the day.

Once it seemed that night time was approaching he leapt down from the roof and onto the streets. He heard some skirmish going on in the alley near the Inn but was not going to assist any way. Watching as the victor entered the Inn, followed by a familiar face, and deciding he should have a drink, Asher approached the Inn. He pushed the door open and looked inside. The light of the Inn's interior left a shadow covering the top half of his face. He recognized the two standing in the lobby as the possible couple from earlier. Smiling and waving to them, he entered and walked over to the bar where this familiar woman sat. Sitting down a seat away, he ordered his favorite, mead. He looked over the the woman and lowered his hood. "I would just like to say this first. Sorry for shooting that arrow so close. I didn't mean for it to get that close" he said to her as he took a sip of mead.

A threat approaching
Unknown to the town, a large group of bandits and thieves gathered outside of town. Their intent was to take the night guards by surprise and loot the village. Once they commenced their attack the shrill screams of women and children would pierce the night air. Not yet, but soon
